Abstract

This study aims to identify the extent to which the Health Center is ready for the implementation of Electronic Medical Records. The methodology applied in this study is Literature Review. The data sources used are secondary data collected from various literature sources available on the internet. The journal used is a reputable publication and focuses on the theme of readiness to implement electronic medical records at the Health Center. The collection of journals was carried out with inclusion criteria that included Population, Intervention, Comparator, Results, Time, Study Design, and Language, so that the total journals analyzed in this study reached 10 Journals. The readiness in the implementation of electronic medical records seen from the aspect of human resources in the Puskesmas shows that they are not fully prepared, because there are still several challenges such as the shortage of medical personnel responsible for medical records and the mismatch between the educational background of employees and the tasks carried out. In terms of cost, the Puskesmas is quite ready for the implementation of electronic medical records and no obstacles were found in terms of funding. In terms of materials, the Puskesmas is not fully prepared, because there are still several problems faced, such as the lack of computers, network problems that are often unstable, and system disruptions that cause errors. In the mechanical aspect, the health center showed quite good readiness, with the results of the study showing that the health center developed more electronic medical record systems using the waterfall approach. However, there are no health centers that implement an electronic system for RME developed by the Ministry of Health in this study. In terms of methodology, the Puskesmas is quite ready, which can be evidenced by the existence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the implementation of Electronic Medical Records in several Puskesmas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of electronic medical records (EMR) and occupational health and safety (OHS) at the filling unit of Mitra Sehat Situbondo Hospital. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method involving interviews and observations over a period of four months. Findings indicate that despite the hospital's adoption of EMR for outpatient care since May 2024, several departments and inpatient units still utilize conventional medical records. The filling unit faces challenges such as limited space and file stacking. The health of staff is affected by inadequate use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Nonetheless, the document disposal process has been effectively conducted to maintain confidentiality. This study underscores the need for infrastructure improvements and OHS practices to enhance efficiency and safety in the storage and handling of medical records at the hospital.

Abstract

Medical records are data used by hospitals that aim to support orderly administration in an effort to improve health services in hospitals. Research shows that there are still delays in providing medical record documents in hospitals spread throughout Indonesia where the provision of services that should be in accordance with SOPs is within 10 minutes, but the provision time is more than 30 minutes. Objective of This study is to examine the factors that cause delays in providing medical record reports for outpatient administration in hospitals spread across Indonesia. Methods of This study uses qualitative research with the type of literature review or literature review. This research was conducted by analyzing 15 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020-2021. Based on the results of the literature review above, the researcher underlines that the factors that cause the provision of medical records in several hospitals spread across Indonesia are man, material, method, machine, money factors. From the results of the literature review, researchers found factors that affect delays in the distribution of patient medical documents, namely human factors, machines, finances, materials and methods.

Abstract

In 2020 to 2022 there was a very high increase in outpatient visits at the Hospital of Prima Husada. In 2020 there are 22737 visits with 17 services, 2020 reached 60417 visits with 20 services, until 2021 increased again to 100892 visits with 21 services. Thus the interest of patients using Prima HusadaHospital each year has increased.This study aims to analyze the factors that influence patients in utilizing outpatient services at Hospital of Prima Husada, which consists of hospital facility variables, physician services, nursing service or midwife, service fee, ease of information, and service utilization decisions.This research type is quantitative research with Cross Sectional design. Sampling technique with Stratified Random Sampling. The number of samples in this study is 100 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed by SPSS with Chi-Square statistic test. Chi-Square analysis showed that there were correlation between hospital facility variable (p=0,004), physician service (p=0,033), nurse service or midwife (p=0,011), ease of information (p=0,001) with service utilization decision.The advice given is to maintain and provide the best service, should the hospital continue to make improvements on the availability of facilities, type, or variety of health services more complete.

Abstract

Telemedicine, the use of digital technology and communication for remote healthcare services, has seen rapid development and offers potential improvements in accessibility and efficiency in healthcare services. However, the adoption and implementation of telemedicine also face various challenges, including data privacy and security, technological infrastructure readiness, and legal and regulatory barriers. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction in the use of telemedicine based on existing scientific evidence. This study employs a systematic review methodology of related telemedicine studies. The results of this review are summarized and form the basis for further discussion about the effectiveness of telemedicine, challenges in its implementation, and its implications for the healthcare sector and further research. Recommendations are provided based on the findings of this review for future research or practice focusing on enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction in the use of telemedicine and overcoming challenges in its implementation.

Abstract

Abstrak . Latar Belakang: Fasilitas layanan kesehatan memegang peranan penting dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan yang bermutu, termasuk pencatatan dan pelaporan rekam medis yang terpadu. Sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan yang andal sangat penting untuk memastikan ketersediaan data medis yang akurat, mendukung evaluasi layanan kesehatan, dan menyederhanakan proses administrasi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan rekam medis di fasilitas layanan kesehatan, dengan fokus khusus pada struktur dan implementasi sistem tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka naratif. Data dikumpulkan dari 10 artikel ilmiah yang diambil melalui Google Scholar berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Ekstraksi dan sintesis data dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Hasil: Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan rekam medis di fasilitas layanan kesehatan menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, prevalensi dokumentasi manual yang rentan terhadap kehilangan data, dan implementasi teknologi informasi yang belum optimal. Beberapa fasilitas kesehatan telah memulai adopsi sistem digital untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi pelaporan. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan yang efektif, regulasi yang lebih kuat, dan peningkatan kapasitas teknologi diperlukan untuk meningkatkan implementasi sistem rekam medis di fasilitas kesehatan.

Abstract

Pencatatan penyebab kematian memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kebijakan kesehatan nasional termasuk perencanaan program pengendalian penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang format sertifikat kematian yang lebih sistematis dan akurat di RSUD Bangil. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan brainstorming terhadap petugas rekam medis. Penelitian difokuskan pada tiga aspek utama: aspek fisik, anatomi, dan isi formulir sertifikat kematian, serta penyusunan prosedur pengisian penyebab kematian yang sesuai dengan standar ICD-10 dan MCCD dari WHO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa surat kematian yang ada belum mampu mencakup informasi penting secara lengkap, sehingga diperlukan format baru seperti sertifikat kematian yang sudah terintegrasi dengan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) dan DUKCAPIL.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan tingkat kelengkapan pengisian dokumen rekam medis elektronik (RME) pasien yang dirawat inap di rumah sakit.Siti Miriam Lawang. Pendahuluan : Dalam era digitalisasi, pemanfaatan RME menjadi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti sistem hybrid dan belum optimalnya pengisian data oleh tenaga medis. Metode : Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik simple random sampling terhadap 56 dokumen RME periode Maret–Mei 2025. Hasil : Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelengkapan pengisian dokumen RME adalah 70%, masih di bawah standar 100% sesuai permenkes No. 129/Menkes/SK/II/2008. Komponen dengan tingkat ketidaklengkapan tertinggi adalah CPPT rawat inap (52%), skrining gizi (56%), dan resume medis (54%). Faktor penyebab utama ketidaklengkapan antara lain tingginya beban kerja dokter, kurangnya pengingat dari perawat, dan belum tersedianya SOP pengisian RME. Simpulan : Solusi yang diusulkan adalah pemanfaatan google spreadsheet dan aplikasi whatsApp sebagai pengingat serta pendukung monitoring. Diharapkan hasil ini menjadi dasar dalam perbaikan sistem pencatatan rekam medis di rumah sakit.

Abstract

The quality of health services is an important factor in determining patient satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on patient satisfaction at the Dental Clinic drg. Delvi Fitriani, Malang City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. The research sample is 70 patients selected by accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a SERVQUAL questionnaire which included five main dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The data was analyzed using the chi-square test to see the relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction. The results showed that all dimensions of service quality had a significant effect on patient satisfaction (p<0.05). In conclusion, the higher the quality of the service provided, the higher the level of patient satisfaction. This study is expected to be a reference for clinic management in improving the quality of dental health services.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction cannot be separated from the code of ethics and quality service carried out by medical personnel. This study aims to determine the effect of Ethics and Service Quality of Health Workers on Patients Satisfaction at dr. Soepraoen Hospitals Malang. The research method used is descriptive analytic research. With a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were 100 people. The result of this study is there is a positive and significant effect of ethics health workers partially on patient satisfaction, there is a positive and partially significant effect of partially Service Quality on patient satisfaction, there is a simultaneous positive and significant effect of ethics health workers and Service Quality on patient satisfaction.
