Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology across various sectors, particularly in design. One widely used AI tool in design is midjourney. Although AI offers numerous benefits, such as production efficiency and flexibility for non-professional users, its use also raises issues related to design authenticity, third-party utilization, and the potential automation of human roles. Considering the importance of ethical and legal aspects in AI usage, this study aims to examine the role of AI in online design services from the perspective of maqashid syariah according to ibn ashur. This research employs a qualitative approach, specifically a library research method with a phenomenological approach and descriptive analysis techniques, to understand and explain the role of AI within the maqashid syariah framework. The findings reveal that midjourney, as an AI design platform, supports design efficiency and enhances designers’ creativity through text-based automation features. However, its application in commercial design poses copyright challenges, especially when designs are fully generated by AI. From a maqashid syariah perspective, AI in design services aligns with the principle of wealth circulation (Ar-Rawaj) and ownership clarity when using exclusive services. Collaborative use of AI that maintains the active role of designers is deemed more equitable and consistent with maqashid syariah, while excessive dependency may reduce originality.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate feminist perspectives on child-free trends in Generation Z from a normative point of view. The focus is to understand how feminism sees this phenomenon in the context of individual freedom, gender responsibility, and prevailing social norms. The research methods used are theoretical and qualitative analysis. Data was obtained through a literature study that included articles, books, and documents related to feminism, gender studies, and child-free trends. A qualitative approach was used to explore and analyze feminist views related to the childfree phenomenon in Generation Z. The results showed that feminist thinking towards the childfree trend in Generation Z reflects the complexity of the relationship between individual freedom and social norms. Feminism stresses the importance of recognizing that the decision not to have children is a legitimate choice for women, allowing them to pursue careers, self-development, and life exploration unfettered by traditional motherhood. Nevertheless, social norms that still reinforce the role of mothers and caregivers sometimes create pressure and stigma against women who choose the child-free path. Novelty/Novelty. This research makes a new contribution to the understanding of the complexity of child-free trends in Generation Z through a normative feminist lens. Her emphasis on the relationship between individual freedom, gender responsibility, and social norms provides deeper insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by women in navigating their life choices in contemporary society.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the law of mu’athah buying and selling transactions by referring to the rules of fiqhiyyah Al Istihsanu bil 'urf that occur in supermarkets. A qualitative approach with library research methods was used in this study, where data were obtained from books and journals. The data collection method used is descriptive analysis, with content analysis techniques. Research findings show that in business transactions, contracts have a vital role in people's lives, becoming the basis for various human activities. Akad becomes the framework of transactions in the Islamic economy, enabling the implementation of various business and economic activities. The Islamic view of the contract has no particular limitations, as long as it meets the requirements and pillars of the contract. However, with the progress of the times, the contract can be made directly, without using words, writing, or gestures, but rather through the actions of both parties that reflect the agreement, known as bai' mu’athah transactions. These transactions generally occur in supermarkets, using modern methods such as electronic media in the form of barcodes that can only be read by machines. Although this bai' mu’athah transaction does not fully meet the conditions and pillars of the contract, according to Maliki, the most basic is the custom that shows the agreement and willingness of both parties. Some Shafi'i scholars also allow bai' mu’athah transactions.

Abstract

Abstract

The quality of children's religious education at the community level is greatly influenced by the availability of adequate learning media. However, in many institutions such as TPA, elementary schools, and RA/BA, religious learning media are still limited, so learning tends to take place passively and less interestingly. Based on these conditions, this community service activity aims to improve the quality of children's religious learning through learning media procurement strategies. The activity was carried out by the PKM MABAIS-IIM Surakarta Team in three educational institutions in Menuran Village, Baki District, Sukoharjo Regency. The methods used include field observations, coordination with institutions, raising donations, distributing learning media, and evaluating the impact of the programme. The results showed that after the procurement of media such as Iqra' books, Islamic stories, stationery, and folding tables, there was a significant increase in children's participation and enthusiasm for learning. The learning process became more interactive and interesting. This programme proves that the provision of learning media is an effective and applicable strategy to improve the quality of religious education. It is hoped that this activity can become a model that is replicated sustainably in various other areas with similar conditions.
