Abstract

PT. TXL is a company engaged in the warehouse sector by distributing its products to the East of Indonesia area. The smooth and reliable operation of a warehouse is strongly influenced by its effective, efficient and reliable activities with continually improvement. One of the challenges for the warehouse role is to shorten the process time required by accelerating working time, increasing efficiency, and increasing work effectiveness. Performance of PT. TXL is measured using Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are productivity and the number of complaints, so the total process time can be improved. The total process time the initial condition is 7 hours 3 minutes with the stages of the process including Sales Orders, Picking, Sorting, Packing, Dispatching and Delivery. By using the Lean Warehousing method, Value Adding Activity (VAA), Necessary but Non-Value Adding Activity (NBNVAA) and Non-Value Adding Activity (NVAA) can be identified through questionnaires and brainstorming by senior employees and leaders. The focus of improvement is to reduce waste in extra processing, motion, overproduction and waiting. After improvement were done, the total process time decreased to 3 hours 48 minutes with Non-Value Adding Activity time decreased from 3 hours 17 minutes to 37 minutes. This has another impact on increasing KPI are productivity increasing by around 45% and the number of complaints per mount decreasing at the end of October 2021 to 2 complaints.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has occurred since March 2020 until now which has had an impact on aspects of life such as health, economy, education and so on, so it is necessary to have a strategy for implementing community service involving lecturers and students of Nahdlatul Ulama University Sidoarjo with community leaders in the Hamlet. Ngerong, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency. From the results of these discussions, several programs were made, namely, providing counseling and socialization about the dangers of covid-19, modes of transmission and methods of prevention, implementation of counseling and socialization carried out in limited numbers, door to door and posting posters on how to prevent the virus and providing information about vaccine schedules in the surrounding area and Pasuruan, conduct training (training) on ​​digital marketing (online sales) and assistance in the use of features on social media for MSMEs, provide tutoring and study face-to-face with very limited numbers and carry out health protocols properly .

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Segoro Tambak Kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Salah satu masalah pokok yang dihadapi oleh Desa Segoro Tambak, yang berada di Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, adalah pengelolaan sumber daya air. Pada upaya ini, terdapat kerjasama dengan anggota Ibu Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) untuk mengatur sumber daya alam seperti Kerang, yang selanjutnya diproses menjadi hidangan sambal goreng. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat dideskripsikan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat sehingga dapat meningkatkan peran serta partisipasi masyarakat. Hal ini dipandang penting bagi masyarakat di desa Segoro Tambak khususnya keluarga nelayan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Melalui evaluasi berkelanjutan, pembuatan sambal kerang dapat mengalami peningkatan produksi. This community service was carried out in Segoro Tambak Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. One of the main problems faced by Segoro Tambak Village, which is in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, is water resources management. In this effort, there is a collaboration with members of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) to manage natural resources such as shellfish, which are then processed into fried chilli sauce. The results of this community service can be described as improving the welfare of the local community so that it can increase community role and participation. This is considered important for the community in Segoro Tambak village, especially fishing families, to increase family income and welfare. Through continuous evaluation, the production of clam sauce can increase.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are currently one of the important sectors supporting the Indonesian economy. Lack of understanding in the meaning of NIB ownership as a legal form for business actors is a problem for MSMEs and also the community. The same problem was also found in MSMEs in Buduran Village, Sidoarjo. The purpose of this community service is to provide direction to business actors regarding preparing and registering to obtain an NIB. This community service begins with location observations, data collection, and implementation of socialization and mentoring activities. After participating in socialization and mentoring, entrepreneurs have a better understanding and are able to manage and have an NIB. It is hoped that this community service can be carried out irrationally for MSME actors in Sidaorjo Regency.

Abstract

Penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) di gudang PT TTT Indonesia perlu dianalisis untuk memastikan lingkungan kerja yang aman, khususnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan kaizen 6S. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan K3 di gudang PT TTT Indonesia menggunakan prinsip-prinsip kaizen 6S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke, Safety). Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penerapan K3 berjalan cukup baik dengan dampak positif berupa pengurangan risiko kecelakaan kerja, peningkatan tata letak dan kebersihan area kerja, serta kesadaran dan kepatuhan karyawan terhadap prosedur K3. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan seperti kurangnya pemeliharaan fasilitas dan pelatihan K3 yang memadai. Mengidentifikasi aspek spesifik yang memerlukan perbaikan dalam penerapan K3 di gudang melalui pendekatan kaizen 6S, serta memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut. Rekomendasi seperti pemeliharaan rutin fasilitas K3, peningkatan pelatihan dan sosialisasi K3, serta penguatan implementasi kaizen 6S diharapkan dapat meningkatkan standar K3, menciptakan budaya kerja yang lebih aman, dan meminimalkan potensi risiko di perusahaan. The implementation of occupational safety and health (OHS) in the PT TTT Indonesia warehouse needs to be analyzed to ensure a safe working environment, especially by using the kaizen 6S approach. This study aims to analyze the implementation of OHS in the PT TTT Indonesia warehouse using the principles of kaizen 6S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke, Safety). Using a qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The implementation of OHS went quite well with positive impacts in the form of reducing the risk of work accidents, improving the layout and cleanliness of the work area, and employee awareness and compliance with OHS procedures. However, there are still shortcomings such as lack of facility maintenance and adequate OHS training. Identifying specific aspects that require improvement in the implementation of OHS in the warehouse through the Kaizen 6S approach and providing strategic recommendations for further improvement. Recommendations such as routine maintenance of OHS facilities, increasing OHS training and socialization, and strengthening the implementation of kaizen 6S are expected to improve OHS standards, create a safer work culture, and minimize potential risks in the company.

Abstract

ABSTRAKUD. Gajah Delta merupakan UMKM produsen peralatan dapur yang berlokasi di area pemukiman, dimana lokasi gudang di seberang jalan lokasi proses produksi yang memperlambat aliran bahan baku dan produk setengah jadi. Rantang merupakan produk dengan order tertinggi. Beberapa hambatan yang dihadapi , yaitu lokasi bahan baku dan proses produksi yang berbeda, operator sakit di pergelangan tangan karena mengoperasikan mesin dengan memutar handle, lintasan kasar untuk produk menyebabkan aliran produk terhambat, operator tidak masuk, operator sering mengobrol, tahapan proses produksi banyak tetapi pengaturan tata letak yang tidak baik, menunggu bahan, kurangnya kebersihan area, peralatan proses produksi kurang. Mayoritas karyawan kurang mampu berkoordinasi, mengidentifikasi masalah dan menyelesaikan masalah produksi sehingga waktu produksi menjadi lebih lama.Untuk memperbaiki problem di atas maka digunakan metode Lean Manufacturing untuk mengidentifikasi Value adding Activities, Non Value Adding Activities. Dengan melakukan kuisioner dan brainstorming maka diperoleh tiga pemborosan terbesar yaitu transportation, employee behavior, dan unnecessary motion. Untuk menemukan akar permasalahannya digunakan five whys kemudian diusulkan saran perbaikan dengan pembobotan berdasarkan Importance, Urgency, Priority (IUP).Dari perbaikan tersebut waktu produksi rantang mengalami penurunan 46,32% , Value Adding Activity mengalami kenaikan 31,64% dengan mengurangi Non Value Adding Activity 58.83%. Hal ini berdampak positip pada pengembangan bisnis. ABSTRACTUD. Gajah Delta is an MSME kitchen equipment manufacturer located in a residential area, where the warehouse is located across the road from the production process which slows down the flow of raw materials and semi-finished products. Food container is the product with the highest orders. Some of the obstacles faced, namely the location of raw materials and the production process are different, the operator has pain in the wrist from operating the machine by turning the handle, rough paths for the product caused product flow to be hampered, the operator does not enter, the operator often chats, there are many stages in the production process but the arrangements poor layout, waiting for materials, lack of area cleanliness, lack of production process equipment. The majority of employees are less able to coordinate, identify problems and resolve production problems, resulting in longer production times.To fix the problem above, the Lean Manufacturing method is used to identify Value Adding Activities (VAA), Non Value Adding Activities. By conducting questionnaires and brainstorming, the three biggest wastes were obtained, namely transportation, employee behavior, and unnecessary motion. To find the root of the problem, five whys are used, then suggestions for improvement are proposed with weighting based on Importance, Urgency, and Priority (IUP).From these improvements, food container production time decreased by 46,32%, Value Adding Activity increased by 31.64% by reducing Non Value Adding Activity by 58.83%. This has a positive impact on business development.

Abstract

Desa Banjar Kemuning memiliki potensi sumber daya laut yang melimpah namun belum sepenuhnya dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat, sehingga diperlukan diversifikasi produk berbasis lokal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pembuatan kue mochi, yang melibatkan 40 ibu rumah tangga dari kelompok PKK dengan metode demonstrasi dan praktik langsung. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat mochi berkualitas baik, sekaligus meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam mengembangkan usaha kecil berbasis lokal. Inovasi ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal sebagai langkah pemberdayaan ekonomi desa secara berkelanjutan. Implikasi program ini mencakup pengembangan produk, strategi pemasaran, dan pembentukan kelompok usaha untuk mendukung keberlanjutan ekonomi masyarakat. Banjar Kemuning Village has abundant marine resource potential but has not been fully optimized to improve the community's economy, so local-based product diversification is needed. This community service aims to empower the community through making mochi cakes, involving 40 housewives from the PKK group with demonstration and direct practice methods. The results of the community service showed an increase in participants' skills in making good quality mochi while increasing community interest in developing locally based small businesses. This innovation provides a new perspective in utilizing local resources to empower the village economy sustainably. The implications of this program include product development, marketing strategies, and the formation of business groups to support the sustainability of the community's economy.

Abstract

UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo adalah UMKM baru yang berkembang di bidang alat rumah tangga, seperti panci, dandang, teflon, dan wajan. Menggunakan Business Model Canvas (BMC) dan analisis SWOT (IFAS, EFAS, SWOT Matrix), studi ini mengkaji proses pengembangan strategi bisnis. Meskipun UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo telah memenuhi 9 kriteria BMC, studi menemukan bahwa pengembangan lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mendukung pertumbuhan bisnis yang substansial. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, perusahaan ini merupakan perusahaan yang berwawasan ke depan dengan kemampuan yang kuat dan prospek yang menjanjikan di kuadran 1. Berbagai strategi pengembangan UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo telah dikategorikan menurut matriks SWOT: strategi S-O, strategi W-O, strategi S-T, dan strategi W-T. UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo is a new UMKM that is developing in the field of household appliances, such as pots, steamers, teflon, and pans. Using Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis (IFAS, EFAS, SWOT Matrix), this study examines the process of developing business strategies. Although UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo has met 9 BMC criteria, the study found that further development is needed to support substantial business growth. Based on the SWOT analysis, this company is a forward-looking company with strong capabilities and promising prospects in quadrant 1. Various development strategies of UD. Gajah Delta Sidoarjo has been categorized according to the SWOT matrix: S-O strategy, W-O strategy, S-T strategy, and W-T strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas program bimbingan belajar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Desa Banjar Kemuning, Sidoarjo. Desa Banjar Kemuning, seperti banyak desa lainnya di Indonesia, menghadapi tantangan dalam akses dan kualitas pendidikan. Studi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, melibatkan siswa Sekolah Dasar di desa tersebut. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan belajar efektif dalam meningkatkan keinginan belajar, pengetahuan konseptual, dan antusiasme siswa dalam belajar. Faktor-faktor pendukung keberhasilan program antara lain antusiasme siswa, dukungan guru, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala yang perlu diatasi, seperti jadwal yang bentrok dengan kegiatan lain dan kesulitan belajar siswa. Bimbingan belajar memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah pedesaan. Keberhasilan program ini bergantung pada dukungan berbagai pihak, dan perlu diteliti lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui dampak jangka panjangnya.This study aims to examine the effectiveness of tutoring programs in improving the quality of education in Banjar Kemuning Village, Sidoarjo. Banjar Kemuning Village, like many other villages in Indonesia, faces challenges in access to and quality of education. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, this study recruited villagers' primary school pupils. The study's findings demonstrated that the tutoring program was effective in raising students' drive to learn, conceptual knowledge, and enthusiasm for learning. Factors supporting the success of the program include student enthusiasm, teacher support, and parental involvement. Schedule conflicts with other activities and students' learning disabilities are two of the many challenges that must be solved. Tutoring has great potential to improve the quality of education in rural areas. The success of this program depends on the support of various parties, and further research is needed to determine its long-term impact.
