Abstract

This study aims to build communicative santripreneurs at Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al Choliliyah Pasuruan through speech and MC training in three languages as an effort to enhance the social entrepreneurship capacity of the santri. By emphasizing effective communication skills, this training aims to equip the santri with public speaking abilities and entrepreneurship-based skills that can open up opportunities for social business in the future. The results of this study are expected to strengthen the communication skills of the santri, boost their confidence, and encourage them to take an active role in the world of sustainable social entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The concept of human nature and their role in the universe has been a subject of extensive exploration in Islamic philosophy. This article examines how misconceptions about human identity can lead to behaviors of egoism, arrogance, and subjugation. By analyzing Qur'anic verses and the insights of thinkers like Abu al-A'la al-Maududi and 'Abd al-Rahman al-Nahlawi, the paper explores the duality of human potential for greatness and error. The Qur'an provides guidance to transcend arrogance, fostering humility and spiritual growth. This study also delves into the roles of humans as servants of God, khalifah fi alardh (stewards of the earth), and imamrah fi al-ardh (leaders of the earth), emphasizing their responsibility to cultivate a peaceful and prosperous society. The balance between understanding human limitations and leveraging their unique capacities for knowledge is crucial for achieving harmony with the divine and the world.

Abstract

Environmental education is pivotal in shaping sustainable character among students, particularly within ecologically vulnerable regions. This study investigates the implementation of an environment-based learning model structured through the 4D framework—Discover, Deepen, Develop, and Demonstrate—to foster environmental care character among students at a coastal Islamic elementary school in Pasuruan, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, document analysis, and a supporting questionnaire involving three teachers, one curriculum coordinator, and thirty Grade 5 students. Data analysis was conducted manually using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, enabling in-depth thematic exploration aligned with the 4D learning stages. The findings demonstrate that the sequential application of the 4D model significantly enhanced students’ environmental awareness, moral reflection, responsibility, and action orientation. Contextual, hands-on activities such as tree planting, waste management projects, and thematic discussions anchored in Islamic ethical values contributed to the profound internalization of sustainability principles. Pedagogical alignment between planning, implementation, and assessment further reinforced the model’s transformative impact. This study concludes that environment-based learning through a structured 4D framework offers an effective pathway for character development in Islamic education and provides practical insights for curriculum innovation in ecologically sensitive educational settings.

Abstract

Pendekatan Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan inovasi dalam pembelajaran yang mendorong peserta didik untuk aktif, bereksperimen, dan menemukan prinsip belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi model PjBL dalam pembelajaran Fiqih untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa kelas VII di MTs Negeri Kota Pasuruan; dan (2) Mengetahui bentuk kreativitas siswa melalui penerapan model tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data primer berasal dari guru fiqih dan siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model PjBL dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan (kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup), serta evaluasi. Model ini terbukti mendorong kreativitas belajar siswa, seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, kerja sama kelompok, serta menghasilkan ide-ide inovatif. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan PjBL dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kreativitas siswa dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aktif dan bermakna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SDN Baledono II Tosari pada mata pelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan multimedia interaktif berbasis Powtoon di Kelas VI SDN Baledono II. 2) Untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis Powtoon di Kelas VI SDN Baledono II. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain media, pengembangan di platform Powtoon, implementasi melalui uji coba, dan evaluasi efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game edukatif ini sangat valid dan menarik berdasarkan validasi ahli media (76,47%), ahli materi (85%), dan guru PAI (87,78%). Uji coba kemenarikan juga mendapat respons positif dari siswa. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran multimedia interaktif PAI berbasis Powtoon yang dikembangkan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran edukatif dalam proses pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan karena untuk membantu guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran kepada peserta didik dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman serta motovasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru madrasah diniyah darul falah adalah 1) tidak memiliki keterampilan yang cukup untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran edukatif secara maksimal. 2) kurangnya pelatihan atau pendampingan yang relevan dan spesifik bagi guru-guru Madrasah Diniyah Darul Falah dalam hal pembuatan media pembelajaran edukatif. Program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan ini adalah pendampingan guru madrasah diniyah dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran edukatif dalam proses pembelajaran agar siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan ini mencakup pemaparan materi terkait dengan media pembelajaran edukatif kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan dalam pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah berupa media pembelajaran edukatif yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran di madrasah diniyah darul falah batu putih desa jatirejo kecamatan lekok kabupaten pasuruan. Dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran edukatif ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di madrasah diniyah darul falah batu putih.

Abstract

The purpose of this study 1) to describe the process of online lectures on the subject model and PAI learning strategies. 2) to describe the role of lecturers in improving student skills in the practice of PAI learning strategies based on uploading videos on youtube. Theresults of the research are as follows: the lecture process on the subject learning model and learning strategy is carried out with a student-centered learning approach. In its application there are 2 kinds of tasks given by lecturers to students, namely group assignments and individual assignments. In research group assignments related to learning models and strategies and individual assignments practicing learning strategies by uploading videos on YouTube by sharing a link on Google Classroom. The role of lecturers to improve learning strategy skills is the lecturer as: 1) motivator, 2) supervisor, and 3) elevator.

Abstract

The utilization of media in Islamic Education (PAI) learning represents an innovation that teachers can employ to facilitate the transmission and illustration of abstract concepts in a concrete manner to students. The development of PAI and character education media integrates maritime values for seventh-grade students in coastal areas. The maritime values instilled through this learning media encompass courage, perseverance, cooperation, responsibility, navigation skills, environmental sustainability, resilience, and maritime life skills. This study aims to 1) describe the procedure of developing integrated PAI-BP (Islamic Education and Character Education) learning media with maritime values, and 2) delineate the impact of using these learning media products on student learning motivation. The research method utilized is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data sources include seventh-grade students from coastal areas (NU Junior High School, Nurul Mushthofa Islamic Junior High School, and Pasir Panjang Wates Junior High School). Data collection instruments consist of questionnaires and observations. The findings reveal that the PAI-BP learning media integrated with maritime values was developed using the ADDIE model and underwent three validation stages involving media experts, design experts, PAI teachers, and students through individual trials, small group trials, and field trials. The impact of the learning media product on enhancing learning motivation was determined through the product moment Pearson correlation test, yielding a calculated value of 0.838. This output resulted in a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.703, indicating that there is a 70.3% influence of using the learning media product on students' learning motivation, demonstrating a strong effect.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping individual character and quality. However, limitations in funding and supporting facilities make it challenging to provide diverse and innovative learning media. This situation results in a conventional learning process that is less engaging for students. The aim of this community service program is to enhance the pedagogical competence of Madrasah Diniyah teachers in developing creative, contextual, and easily implementable educational media based on Roda Angka and Kincir Shorof. The methods employed include initial observation, guided practice in media creation, and evaluation of training outcomes. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in developing educational media. Teachers are able to create simple yet effective learning media that increase student engagement and motivation. In addition, the program successfully established a community of creative Madrasah Diniyah teachers, serving as a platform for ongoing collaboration and innovation. In conclusion, this practice-based teacher mentoring program has proven effective in promoting learning transformation in nonformal educational institutions and can serve as a model for professional development of teachers in other Madrasah Diniyah

Abstract

Studies on Islamic education in Indonesia have predominantly focused on nationally recognized intellectual figures, while the contributions of local pesantren scholars remain underexplored in academic discourse. This article examines the relevance of the educational thought of KH. AD. Rahman Syakur in addressing contemporary educational challenges. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study analyzes Sajadah Khidmah: Meneladani Khidmah dan Keistiqamahan KH. AD. Rahman Syakur as the primary source, supported by scholarly literature on Islamic education and pesantren traditions. Data were examined through descriptive qualitative content analysis. The findings indicate that KH. AD. Rahman Syakur’s educational thought emphasizes khidmah-based education, moral and ethical formation (akhlaq and adab), teacher exemplarity, and the integration of religious knowledge with social realities through community-oriented fiqh. These principles remain highly relevant in responding to technological disruption, moral decline, and the increasing commercialization of modern education. The study highlights the importance of reconstructing local pesantren scholarship as a contextual, humanistic, and socially transformative model of Islamic education.
