Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Padlet Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi Pada Siswa - Siswi Kelas VIII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan TP 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One grup pretest dan posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII dengan jumlah 21 orang dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII sebanyak 21 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas menggunakan uji F, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Setelah dilakukan penelitian untuk pretest dan posttest penggunaan Aplikasi Padlet, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 41,3 dengan simpangan baku 11,92 dan nilai rata-rata pada posttest yaitu 81,14 dengan simpangan baku 14,34. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji “t” pada taraf signifikan ⍺ =0,05, diperoleh thitung > ttabel (9.5 > 2.021), dengan demikian bahawa H0 ditolak, dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji prasyarat data pretest dan posttest menyatakan sampel terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Padlet Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi Pada Siswa - Siswi Kelas VIII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan TP 2024/2025.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Sparkol Videoscribe Media on Procedural Text Writing Skills in Class X Students of SMA Pencawan Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This type of research is a quantitative experimental research with a One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design research design. The population in this study were 95 class X students of SMA Pencawan Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year who were distributed into 3 classes determined by the cluster sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was the normality test using the F test, the homogeneity test and the hypothesis test. In accordance with this quantitative method which seeks to present data in an ongoing study, the calculation of the hypothesis in this study was tested using the "t" test at a significance level of a = 0.05. From the calculation data, tcount> ttable = 2.60> 1.86, therefore, the null hypothesis (H₂) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₂) is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an Influence of the Use of Sparkol Videoscribe Media in Improving the Writing Skills of Procedural Texts of Class X Students of SMA Pencawan Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

This research is a development research with a modification of the Borg and Gall (2003) R&D model. This research was conducted only in the initial trial revision step (main product revision) because it was limited by time. The purpose of the research was to determine whether Prezi media with a metacognitive approach in the prose and fiction studies course could be understood and experienced improvement.
