Abstract

Kondisi pandemi yang masih berlangsung hingga sekarang menyebabkan sekolah perlu berupaya keras dalam mengatur strategi pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan adalah meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara Flipped Learning Model dengan berbagai platform e-leaning. Terdapat dua permasalahan utama yang akan diselesaikan melalui program ini, yaitu: 1) kualitas pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang masih rendah; 2) kurangnya pengetahuan guru mengenai model pembelajaran inovatif di era digital. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari program ini adalah: 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif abad 21 yaitu pembelajaran digital dengan pembelajaran Flipped Learning Model dengan pendekatan STEM; 2) meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengajar menggunakan pembelajaran digital Flipped Learning Model dengan Pendekatan STEM. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui metode yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap mulai dari koordinasi, survei lapangan, persiapan pelatihan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring dengan memanfaatkan berbagai platform teknologi digital yaitu Open Learning, Youtube, PPT bernarasi, Bandicam, Camtasia Studio, Instagram, dan aplikasi editing video lainnya. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak, yaitu: Kepala Dikdasmen Kota Surakarta, Kepala SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta, serta guru. Sejumlah 20 guru setuju dengan penerapan pendekatan STEM dengan Flipped Learning Model untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir HOTS. Pendekatan STEM dan FLM dapat menjadi pembelajaran inovatif abad 21 yang mendorong siswa untuk menguasai keterampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, dan Communication).

Abstract

Learning is not only about giving theories, but instilling concepts is more important to teach to students. One of the concepts instilled in mathematics, namely the arithmetic material of addition and subtraction for elementary school. STEMATIK learning media supports students' understanding in introducing the arithmetic concepts of addition and subtraction for lower elementary school classes. This research aimed to explain the component analysis of integrating STEAM and thematic learning using STEMATIK learning media, to describe the importance of using learning media in enhancing students’ independence and motivation to learn, and to present the results of using STEMATIK learning media as a tool for learning mathematics.  The research method employed was a quasi-experiment. Quantitative data analysis was conducted to analyze the data collected from the research instrument, including validation instruments by two experts in the form of learning media feasibility instruments and pretest and posttest assessment results on 31 elementary school students on the control group and the experimental group. The validity test used T-test by SPSS application. The product development process was based on the ADDIE model, a systematic approach that includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The method used in this research was the descriptive, qualitative and quantitative method. The research results show that for the validity test the increase in knowledge scores significantly using the T test with the SPSS application produces two sides of less than 0.001. The level of student learning independence is good, achieving a score of 68,14, which according to the category is considered good. The percentage for the student learning motivation category falls into the high criterion. The result of these indicators shows a score of 83, which is categorized as high.

Abstract

Tujuan program pelatihan ini adalah untuk: 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang pembuatan modul ajar; 2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan modul ajar inovatif.  Pelatihan diberikan melalui berbagai metode, seperti sosialisasi dan workshop secara luring di sebuah sekolah negeri di Kabupaten Semarang dan sekolah swasta di Kabupaten Boyolai dengan total 23 sasaran. Adapun rincian kegiatan adalah sebagai berikut: 1) sosialisasi tujuan pembelajaran, ATP, dan modul ajar; 2) workshop untuk mendesain modul ajar; dan 3) workshop untuk memodifikasi modul ajar yang sudah tersedia. Program pengabidan ini dilaskanakan pada Juni 2022 dan Juli 2023. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang dibagikan kepada peserta untuk mengukur kepuasan dan pengetahuan guru sedangkan keterampilan dilihat melalui dokumentasi modul ajar yang disusun oleh guru yang dikuatkan dengan wawancara tidak terstruktur.  Untuk menganalisis data, teknik interaktif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan, mereduksi, menampilkan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: 1) 48% pengetahuan peserta meningkat menjadi sangat baik dan 52% sisanya menyampaikan pengetahuan menjadi baik. Adapun di ranah keterampilan, menunjukkan 52% keterampilan peserta meningkat sangat baik, dan 48% meningkat dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

The Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) is a critical tool for ensuring the quality of higher education. However, SET results do not always comprehensively capture students' perspectives. Factors such as ambiguous evaluation forms, varying interpretations of questions, and the influence of non-academic factors on student responses can impact the reliability of the results. This research aims to reveal students' positive perceptions of the SET and uncover students' negative perceptions of the SET. This study employs a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The participants consisted of eight informants, including lecturers and students. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach. The validity of the data was ensured through check and recheck, researcher diligence, time triangulation, researcher triangulation, rechecking, and confirmation with informants. The findings indicate that informants held positive and negative perceptions of various aspects of the learning process. Seven key criteria related to student satisfaction were identified, spanning both offline and online learning environments. These criteria were based on student evaluations conducted at the end of each semester. Overall, the perceptions provided by the informants were consistent with the lecturers' expertise and understanding in their respective fields.
