Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan kajian tafsir tematik dengan fokus pembahasan seputar makna ayat-ayat perang (qital) dalam Al-Qur’an perspektif Sayyid Quthb. Secara umum qital dalam Al-Qur’an dimaknai oleh sebagian mufassir dengan perang melawan kelompok kâfirîn yang menyerang terlebih dahulu, atau dengan kata lain bersifat defensif (dhifâ’iyah) dan melarang perang yang bersifat menyerang atau ofensif (thalabah). Berbeda Sayyid Quthb yang kental dengan basic pergerakan (haraki), bahwa qital dalam Al-Qur’an tidak hanya bermakna defensif, namun juga ofensif, dan itu bukan merupakan sebagai bentuk ekstremisme dan radikalisme, sebab Islam memiliki batasan dan kode etik dalam berperang, sehingga perang menjadi tidak serampangan. Selain itu tujuan utamanya adalah menegakkan kalimat Allah dan melepaskan manusia dari penghambaan kepada selain Allah.

Abstract

Al-Munawwarah Islamic boarding school has many methodsto form of character for the santri, from discipline to the practice of zikir of Ratib al-Haddad. Character building is a very urgent part of being a santri so that all means leading towards it are carried out. Among these facilities was the reading of Ratib al-Haddad in jamaah every day except Tuesday night and Friday night after Maghrib prayer led by one of the teachers. This research is focused on the practice of zikir of Ratib al-Haddad in the santriwati (female student) environment in forming characters with the zikir consisting of surah / verses of the Quran and kalimah thayyibah so that they can influence the personality of santriwati. This research aims to examine the effect of the practice of reading specifically the surah / verse of the Quran which has its own fadhilah in the mufassir's view. The method used in this research is a Qualitative Descriptive analysis that reveals field practice with its contextualized impact on living Quran. This living Quran research is formulated in a surah or verse in Ratib al-Haddad which has its own virtues such as a cure for all diseases, protection from various disorders and dangers. Examination of the influence of recitation of the zikir of Râtib al-Haddâd for santriwati's life includes two categories, namely its influence in personal life such as increasing enthusiasm in learning, discipline, being a sincere person. Abstract

Silaturrahmi is a command from Allah as stated in the Qur’an. Buya Hamka, in his Tafsir Al-Azhar, explains that silaturrahmi means fostering bonds of compassion among all human beings, as humanity fundamentally originates from a single soul. This concept of silaturrahmi is also implemented by Indonesian society through various traditions, such as the Alek Bakajang tradition. Alek Bakajang is a longstanding tradition passed down through generations to strengthen relationships among all elements of society in Nagari Gunuang Malintang, Pangkalan Koto Baru Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra. In modern times, this tradition is often associated with "open house" gatherings and “halal bi halal”, commonly held after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. This study aims to analyze Hamka's perspective on silaturrahmi and its relevance to the Alek Bakajang tradition. It combines library research with field research and employs a qualitative approach. Data were collected from Hamka’s Tafsir Al-Azhar as well as through observation and interviews with informants in the study area. The findings reveal that Hamka’s view on silaturrahmi aligns closely with the values embedded in the Alek Bakajang tradition. In the context of silaturrahmi, the Alek Bakajang tradition carries profound meanings, including understanding and preserving family lineage, always remembering Allah and supporting relatives, forgiving one another within the community, and promoting good counsel and mutual advice.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pluralisme dan implikasinya terhadap moderasi beragama berdasarkan berbagai sudut pandang mufasir terkemuka di dunia penafsiran al-Qur’an, diantaranya yaitu Zamakhsari dengan tafsirnya al-Kasyaf, Wahbah Zuhaili dengan tafsirnya al-Munir, buya Hamka dengan tafsrinya al-Azhar, Quraiys Shihab dengan tafsirnya al-Misbah dan Hasbi as-Shiddiqy dengan tafsirnya an-Nur. Untuk memaksimalkan hasil penelitian maka tulisan ini akan mengunakan metode deskriptif-intepretatif, yaitu dengan mencari data yang akurat dari berbagai tafsir, buku, artikel dan literatur yang bersangkutan dengan judul tulisan kemudian menjelaskanya secara sistematis dan faktual. Ayat yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah QS. al-Baqarah: 256, al-Hujurat: 13 dan al-Mumtahanah: 8-9. Setelah melakukan analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ayat-ayat al-Qur’an tersebut para mufasir lebih cenderung menyatakan bahwa dalam ajaran agama Islam unsur-unsur pluralisme sangat diakui akan eksistensinya dalam menggapai toleransi beragama, serta Islam adalah agama dengan misi perdamaian sepanjang masa. Dalam konteks keberagaman dari berbagai macam sisi Islam hadir melalui al-Qur’an sebagai acuan untuk terus merawat dan menjaga keberagaman dengan baik. Maka dari itu jika pluralisme ini dimplementasikan oleh seluruh pemeluk agama akan sangat berdampak positif bagi moderasi dan kerukunan beragama.

Abstract

Analyze the relevance of Islamic economic ethics in the practice of buying and selling in the era of global capitalism, focusing on the study of the interpretation of verses related to buying and selling transactions in the Qur'an. This study uses a normative interpretation approach and contemporary analysis of verses that talk about buying and selling, in surah Al-Baqoroh 198, Al-Baqarah verse 275, Al-Baqoroh 282 and An-Nisa 29. In addition, this study also assesses how the principles of Islamic economics can be applied in the context of modern capitalism which often prioritizes maximum profit and individualism. The results of the study show that Islamic economic ethics that prioritize justice, transparency, and social balance are still very relevant to be applied in the current global economic system. Principles such as the prohibition of usury, gharar (uncertainty), and tyranny in buying and selling can be the basis for transactions that are fairer and do not harm certain parties. The conclusion of this study is that the application of Islamic economic ethics in the practice of buying and selling can provide alternative solutions to overcome economic inequality caused by global capitalism, as well as support the creation of more equitable and sustainable welfare for society as a whole.

Abstract

Penelitian fenomena  sarung di masyarakat Melayu Riau ini penting untuk memahami statusnya sebagai bagian dari material culture yang memberikan identitas terhadap komunitas. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah penggunaannya, dan dinamika fungsinya dari zaman ke zaman, serta pemanfaatannya dalam masyarakat Nusantara yang heterogen, baik dari suku, budaya dan agama. Sebagai identitas Nusantara, sarung telah melalui proses tahapan-tahapan sejarah panjang, sehingga menjadi simbol pakaian pribumi, simbol santri, simbol ketaatan pada agama, pakaian keindahan dan kesederhanaan di wilayah Nusantara. Sejak masa kolonial, bersamaan dengan berlangsungnya proses akulturasi budaya Eropa di Nusantara, telah terjadi pergeseran nilai yang signifikan pada perspektif masyarakat dalam memandang makna dan fungsi sarung dalam kehidupan budaya dan agama, khususnya di Indonesia.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian antropologi yang memakai metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan snowballing. Teknik yang dipakai dalam  pengambilan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari data yang terkumpul dan telah dianalisis didapati bahwa, secara umum masyarakat Melayu Riau, terutama di wilayah urban tidak lagi menjadikan sarung sebagai pilihan utama dalam berpakaian, bahkan ada kesan bahwa fungsi sarung sangat terbatas sebagai kelengkapan utama dalam kegiatan ritual agama saja; misalnya salat atau kegiatan keagamaan lainnya. Urgensi dan fungsi sarung sebagai pakaian harian justru lebih terwakili dalam kultur pedesaan (rural). Keberadaan sarung di masyarakat Melayu mengalami pergeseran nilai sebagai material culture yang cenderung mengarah pada simbolisasi ritual ketimbang fungsional

Abstract

This article discusses the reception of the community towards the tradition of Selawat Benghanyut in the Perkumpulan Sholawat Laut Indonesia in Bengkalis Regency, Riau. The tradition of Selawat is performed by the Bengkalis community with the aim of preserving the village. The people of Bengkalis refer to it as "bele kampung," but now this tradition is known as "Selawat Beghanyut." Selawat Beghanyut is a salawat activity performed on boats. It is called Selawat Beghanyut because it involves floating with boats moving along the river or sea currents. This tradition is interesting to explore further because it contains the values of the Qur'an, conceptually known as the study of the living Qur'an. This field research employs a descriptive-qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research indicate that the tradition of Selawat Beghanyut is a cultural behavior resulting from the reception of Muslims towards the Qur'an, especially Surah Al-Ahzab verse 56. This verse contains the command to send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and this command is implemented by the community in the form of Selawat Beghanyut. Furthermore, the tradition of Selawat Beghanyut also embodies religious and social values. The religious values include constant reminders to worship Allah, have faith in the Prophet, and adhere to the Qur'an. As for the social values, this tradition fosters brotherhood and serves as a platform for fostering relationships among all members of the community. Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas tentang resepsi masyarakat pada tradisi Selawat Benghanyut pada Perkumpulan Sholawat Laut Indonesia di Kabupaten Bengkalis, Riau. Tradisi selawat dilakukan oleh masyarakat Bengkalis bertujuan untuk memelihara kampung. Masyarakat Bengkalis menyebutnya dengan istilah “bele kampung”, namun sekarang tradisi ini dikenal dengan “Selawat Beghanyut”. Selawat Beghanyut adalah suatu kegiatan berselawat yang dilakukan di atas perahu. Dinamakan dengan Selawat Beghanyut karena diambil dari istilah berhanyut dengan perahu yang bergerak mengikuti arus sungai atau laut. Tradisi ini menarik untuk dikaji lebih mendalam karena memuat nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an atau secara konseptual dikenal dengan kajian living Qur’an. Penelitian dengan jenis penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Selawat Beghanyut merupakan hasil perilaku kultural dari resepsi umat Islam terhadap Al-Qur’an, khususnya surat Al-Ahzab ayat 56. Ayat tersebut berisi tentang perintah ber-selawat kepada Nabi Muhammad Saw, perintah tersebut diimplementasikan oleh masyarakat dengan bentuk Selawat Beghanyut. Selain itu, tradisi Selawat Beghanyut juga memuat nilai-nilai keagamaan dan nilai-nilai sosial. Nilai keagamaan  yaitu senantiasa mengingatkan untuk selalu beribadah kepada Allah, beriman kepada Nabi, serta agar selalu berpegang kepada Al-Qur’an. Adapun nilai-nilai sosial dalam tradisi ini yaitu memuat nilai persaudaraan serta ajang silahturahmi seluruh anggota masyarakat.

Abstract

This article examines the Quranic concept of nusyuz through Ibn Asyur’s al Tahrir wa al Tanwir and develops a maqasid oriented account for addressing marital conflict in contemporary Muslim families. The study adopts a qualitative library based method that closely reads Q 4.34 and Q 4.128 and triangulates classical fiqh writings thematic exegesis and recent scholarship on family law. The analysis shows that nusyuz is a relational breach that may be committed by either spouse and that Ibn Asyur proposes a gradual and ethically constrained sequence that begins with counsel then proceeds to separation of beds and only allows corrective action that must remain symbolic and non violent while prioritizing mediation whenever harm is likely. Reading the two verses together yields a symmetrical framework that protects dignity prevents harm and restores rights by aligning procedural steps with the objectives of justice compassion and public welfare. The article concludes that this maqasid based synthesis offers a text faithful and context sensitive basis for counseling adjudication and policy in Islamic family law and it recommends empirical evaluation in courts counseling services and community mediation to assess feasibility safeguards and effectiveness.

Abstract

This article analyzes munākahāt hadiths in Fath al-Mun’im by Mūsā Shāhīn Lāshīn and his contribution to the reform of Islamic family law. While these hadiths are central in shaping legal thought, the interpretation has often remained literalist, producing a gap between normative texts and present socio-legal realities such as child marriage, women’s consent, and dowry inflation. Addressing this gap is crucial for developing a hadith-based framework that is responsive to contemporary challenges in Muslim family life. The study aims to examine how Lāshīn constructs legal reasoning on munākahāt and to evaluate the implications of his method for family law reform. Using a qualitative, library-based approach, it applies content analysis to the ten-volume Fath al-Mun’im, supported by classical fiqh and modern scholarship. Analytical lenses include maqasid al-shari’ah and the sociology of knowledge. The findings show that Lāshīn develops an integrative framework that harmonizes hadith authority with ethical priorities and social realities. He affirms women’s agency, critiques burdensome dowries, and classifies marriage rulings according to context. His approach, rooted in fiqh al-awlawiyyāt and comparative madhhab analysis, offers not only a moderate and contextual model of hadith-based ijtihād but also practical guidance for policymakers in shaping equitable and sustainable Islamic family law.
