Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab siswa SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kebomas Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 hingga kelas 6, dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket untuk mengukur minat belajar dan dokumentasi nilai rapor untuk prestasi belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik korelasi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 70,3%, di mana indikator perhatian peserta didik merupakan yang tertinggi dan keterlibatan peserta didik paling rendah. Prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori baik (46,7%) dan cukup (26,7%). Analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar dengan kontribusi sebesar 41,6%. Kesimpulannya, minat belajar menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan menumbuhkan minat belajar intrinsik, serta penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar.

Abstract

The current state of life in the millennial era is full of challenges and competition. This has an impact, among others, on a high level of depression in addition to the availability of opportunities for those who have life competencies, and have multiliteracy that strengthens students' physical, mental, and intellectual capacities. For that we need a way how to shape the religious character of students, especially PAI students at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik through digital literacy?. There needs to be a method in reviewing the research in revealing the existing problems, namely by using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, focusing on the study of the formation of religious character of PAI UMG students. The results of the study reveal that various forms of collaboration and cooperation between communities and educational units outside the campus are indispensable in strengthening religious character education. There are various forms of collaboration that can be done in the context of developing character education for PAI UMG students in facing the millennial era, namely with Islamic digital literacy activists. Such as good attitudes and intentions, namely getting used to literacy through cellphone media (HP): speaking and writing in Short Message Service (SMS) or WhatsApp (WA) that is polite when communicating, behaves well, protects the environment, and looks after the environment. order.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the tilawati method in improving the ability to memorize the al-Qur’an at Madrasah Diniyah Darussalam Gresik. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were the tilawati vol 2 students, each group consisting of 15 students. The researcher made observations of the teacher's activities including the implementation of the opening activities, the implementation of the core activities, the teacher's learning approach, the arrangement of the learning class and the implementation of evaluations, in addition to observing the teacher's activities, the researchers also observed the activities of the students in learning including the students' fluency in reading the al-Qur’an. The results of this study, as a whole are in accordance with the provisions set by the tilawati institution, but there are a number of things that are adjusted and combined with the conditions and programs at Madrasah Diniyah Darussalam Gresik, such as when learning has not been given writing material and supporting materials for memorizing prayers prayer, in a special class an additional method is applied, namely a private method.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who are not consistent in showing moderate thoughts. As happened to Islamic education students at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik, some took part in extra-campus activities such as the student dakwah institute. Still, in their development, their understanding turned into acts of group and ideological struggle. So, it is necessary to have an Islamic mindset to control their religious knowledge so that it is dynamic and tolerant. To explore these problems, a research method with a qualitative approach is needed, which aims to understand specific issues related to complexity in depth. In contrast, researchers use a case study type of research. The result is the role of the Islamic worldview, which is carried out through the learning process of Islamic education in an andragogical way on campus, in the context of teaching and learning activities in Islamic education study programs, the creativity of lecturers professionally in the field of Islam who are qualified, including integrating actual themes designed to provide insight basic knowledge of Islam to students so that they have a robust Islamic framework of thought and are increasingly enthusiastic about exploring Islam more deeply, to stem the flow of radical opinions.

Abstract

Read Write the Qur'an is an implementation that learns to read the Qur'an correctly and correctly in accordance with the applicable rules. Reading and writing the Qur'an is an activity carried out in educational institutions that is made for students to study the Qur'an properly and correctly, as well as reading by understanding the science of tajweed, makharijul letters and sifatul letters. BTQ activities are one of the religious coaching and planting programs designed so that students can improve their ability to read and write the Qur'an as well as form the character of the Qur'an in students. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative research method, namely the technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that BTQ activities were carried out regularly and structured, personal guidance, and periodic evaluation. This activity has a positive influence on students to form the character of the Qur'ani of students, such as morals, manners, discipline, responsibility, and concern for others. In conclusion, BTQ activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas have succeeded in becoming an effective means in instilling the value of the Qur'an in the personality of its students.

Abstract

Fokus utama dari studi ini untuk menunjukkan pengaruh efektivitas metode tutor sebaya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa-siswi pada subjek materi Kemuhammadiyaan di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam studi ini adalah pendekatan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan eksperimen Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Studi terkait mencakup du akelas sebagai sampel, yaitu kelas VIII Carbon dan kelas VIII Dubnium, masing-masing berjumlah 25 siswa-siswi. Kelas VIII Dubnium dikenakan metode tutor sebaya, sementara kelas VIII Carbon menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah posttest yang terdiri dari pertanyaanpertanyaan serta pilihan jawaban. Data yang terkumpul dianalisa memakai uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan teori memakai uji t untuk sampel independen.Dari hasil analisis tersebut disimpulkan bahwa metode tutor sebaya berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa-siswi selama proses pembelajaran, mengurangi rasa jenuh, serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa-siswi. Dengan demikian, metode ini berpotensi mengoptimalkan pencapaian akademik peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Kemuhammadiyaan.The main focus of this study is to show the influence of the effectiveness of the peer tutoring method in improving students' understanding of the subject of Muhammadiyah at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design experiment. The study included two classes as samples, namely class VIII Carbon and class VIII Dubnium, each consisting of 25 students. Class VIII Dubnium was subjected to the peer tutoring method, while class VIII Carbon used the conventional method. The data collection instrument was a posttest consisting of questions and answer choices. The collected data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and theories using the t-test.  From the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the peer tutoring method had a significant effect on increasing students' active participation during the learning process, reducing boredom, and improving students' understanding. Thus, this method has the potential to optimize students' academic achievement in the subject of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Self-Directed Learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Al-Islam kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain The Posttest-Only Control-Group Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui Teknik Cluster dengan sistem stratified random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VII Care dan kelas VII DTCP dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Subyek penelitian ini pada kelas skontrol terdapat 19 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen terdapat 13 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan.  Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan tes objektif (Post-test) berbentuk pilihan ganda dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis non-parametrik yaitu Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis deskriptif maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol yaitu 68.83 sedangkan untuk nilai post-test kelas eksperimen yakni 96.67. Dari hasil analisis non parametrik maka diperoleh pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Al-Islam kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik tahun ajaran 2023/2024. This research aims to determine the effect of Self-Directed Learning on student learning achievement in class VII Al-Islam learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. The research method used is a Quasi Experimental experimental method with The PosttestOnly Control-Group Design. The population in this study were class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample determination in this study was carried out using the Cluster Technique with a stratified random sampling system so that class VII Care and class VII DTCP were obtained with a total of 60 students. The subjects of this research in the control class were 19 male students and 11 female students, while in the experimental class there were 13 male students and 17 female students.  The data collection method used was an objective test (Post-test) in the form of multiple choice and interviews. The data analysis method was carried out using non-parametric analysis, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test using the SPSS 16.0 program. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average post-test score for the control class was 68.83, while the post-test score for the experimental class was 96.67. From the results of non-parametric analysis, that the SelfDirected Learning learning model has an effect on increasing student learning achievement in class VII Al-Islam learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The formation of religious character is the key to the success of educational institutions in producing graduates with integrity in the midst of global challenges. This success is not only determined by the formal curriculum, but also the implementation of a *hidden curriculum* that includes values, norms, and good practices in the school environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation model of *hidden curriculum* in the formation of religious character through a multi-case qualitative study with the Miles and Huberman analysis approach. The results of the study show three main findings. First, the concept of "Interconnective-Habitualization of Character" (CPI) which integrates religious values, Pancasila, and national culture holistically in religion-based schools to form a generation of ulama-intellectuals. Meanwhile, in public schools, the *hidden curriculum* is more adaptive, emphasizing the values of honesty, discipline, and tolerance in a plural environment. Second, the implementation is carried out through three channels: formal in Islamic Religious Education, boarding school culture for habituation of religious values, and extracurricular activities as a stimulus for the application of these values. Approaches such as example, habituation, advice, punishment, and technology support implementation. Third, the implication is to increase the religiosity of students, such as worship discipline and involvement in religious activities. This study formulates the "Interconnected-Hidden Curriculum in The Formation of Religious Character" (I-HC) model, which integrates religious education to strengthen the holistic image in faith-based schools and create an inclusive environment in public schools. This model is relevant in building religious characters with integrity in diverse social contexts.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk pendampingan mendirikan Pondok Pesantren dalam naungan Majelis Pendidikan Dasar Menengah dan Pendidikan Non-Formal Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Kebomas Kabupaten Gresik memakai model Posdaya. Mengacu pada hasil praktek pendampingan pendirian, bahwa ada beberapa hal yang perlu diungkap sebagaimana kesimpulan sebagai berikut, yaitu (1) Pendampingn pendirian Pondok Pesantren Majelis Dikdasmen dan PNF PCM Kebomas Gresik berdasarkan pada step-step yang ada pada strategi pemberdayaan berbasis posdaya; (2) Tempat yang strategis dan masuk dalam program kerja secara sistematis dan optimal dan menjadi daya tarik untuk peningkatan jumlah siswa SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kebomas maupun SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas; dan (3) Pendirian Pondok Pesantren di lingkungan PCM Kebomas Gresik memiliki implikasi positif dalam ikut serta menjaga keilmuan keislaman apalagi dalam lingkungan makam Sunan Giri. Salah satu bentuk apresiasi terhadap Pondok Pesantren adalah pembelajaran al-Qur’an, bahwa al-Qur’an pada generasi ke-generasi selalu dihafal dan terlindungi di dalam hati nurani dada para penghafal al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the search for identity of Islamic religious education students in the millennial era that is happening in the current era. The millennial Muslim student movement has built a new identity as a religious community that adheres to Islamic principles. Hijrah as their lifestyle aims to get closer to straight faith and spread the message of Islam. To hone this background, a qualitative approach is needed, with the type of research being a case study. That in the activities of Islamic Religious Education students at Muhammadiyah University of Gresik, they are careful in their attitudes and actions when interacting with fellow Muslims and non-Muslims in order to live in harmony and tolerance. Not only that, they also emphasized that lecturers should become figures in their lives to get to know the basics of Islam which can strengthen their Islamic commitment. Furthermore, their identity as young students in general, with their participation in the hijrah movement there is a construction of their identity and cultural framing as young students who are social but adhere to the Islamic religion.
