Abstract

This research is a type of library research that uses the object of literature review and the primary data source is the book The Power Of Sedekah by Lu'lu' Mawaddah and the secondary sources are taken from related books, journals, articles. with research. The data analysis technique is to use descriptive and content analysis (content analysis). The purpose of this study is to explain and identify Lu'lu' Mawaddah's thoughts on the concept of alms in the perspective of Islamic Education. In the results of the research that can be obtained by the author, in general Lu'lu' Mawaddah's thought is that Islamic education is here as the intended tool while the concept of alms focuses on humans and in this case, of course, the way to achieve the goals of Islamic education itself is to truly really understand human nature, because humans are here as subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to report the results of research by Yogi Iswanto, a student of UMG Aama Islam Study Program, Department of Islamic Religion. The place where the research took place was at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. The benefits of this research include: a) introducing UMG students to the university environment, b) increasing the creativity of PAI students in teaching, and c) adding references to learning innovations for educators. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. The initial conditions before conducting the research, the researchers made observations about the irregularities of students in the field affected by the pandemic and it turned out that some of the students' characters were still not formed, such as: less active, indifferent, less daring to express opinions, and lack of cooperation or cohesiveness between students. each other and can be called a slow learner. However, after conducting a trial by being given a Tajweed-based audio book media, this was very contradictory. Students began to show enthusiasm in learning and began to pay attention to what was said or done by the subject teacher, as well as the cohesiveness between students and the courage in expressing opinions.

Abstract

This thesis discusses: Implementation of Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Learning in the Qiroati Method at Baitul Mu'minin Al-Qur'an Education Park, Benem Village, Sitsampeyan District, Gresik Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of learning to read and write the Qur'an on the qiroati method in the Baitul Mu'minin Al-Qur'an education park, Benem Village, Sitsampeyan District, Gresik Regency. And knowing the efforts and results made by Ustadzah and santri in overcoming obstacles to implementing learning to read and write the Qur'an on the Qiroati Method at the Baitul Mu'minin Al-Qur'an Education Park, Benem Village, Sitsampeyan District, Gresik Regency. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach, the research was carried out at the Baitul Mu'minin Benem Al-Qur'an Education Park. The data source of this study consisted of primary data, namely caregivers, ustadzah and students at the Baitul Mu'minin Benm Al-Qur'an Education Park. And secondary data is the condition of the Baitul Mu'minin Benem Al-Qur'an Education Park. While the data collection is done by using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, the collected data is then processed by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study found that the implementation of the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Learning had referred to the Qur'anic science teaching manual with the Qiroati method written by KH. Dachlan Salim Zarkasyi starting from the preparation of learning, implementation of learning to evaluation of learning

Abstract

Smartphones are electronic devices that are developing quite rapidly in modern times like today, in the world of work smartphones have begun to be used to help work, while in the world of education smartphones are also used as media and learning resources especially during the covid-19 pandemic, where learning is carried out online so that there is a need for media to support learning including smartphone media as was done at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas where smartphones are used as learning media for Islamic Religious Education in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this thesis research are: Principal, Islamic Religious Education Teacher, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Representatives of parents and students. This qualitative research method uses three data collection techniques, namely: a) Observation, b) Interview, and c) Documentation. The results showed that online learning with the use of smartphones at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas has several obstacles and is considered less effective because not all students have learning media.

Abstract

The different perceptions given by the community, especially educators about the implementation of the independent learning policy make researchers want to raise and find out the problem in one of the educational institutions located at MTs YKUI Sekargadung Dukun Gresik. This study aims to determine the perception of PAI teachers regarding the policy. This study uses a qualitative approach which aims to be able to find out about how the description of objects that have been studied systematically, whether it is about facts, characteristics or various things related to the research theme. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique is by means of reduction, display, and verification. The results of this study are teachers at MTs YKUI Sekargadung have different and positive perceptions about the Kemendikbud Nadiem Makarim's policy of independent learning.

Abstract

Education can be interpreted as a teaching effort that is deliberately carried out to develop the potentials of students so that they have the provision of life for a good society. This study aims to determine the implementation of humanist education in Al-Islam subjects at SMPM 09 Sidayu Gresik. The type of research used is qualitative research, where this approach is carried out in its entirety to the research subject where the researcher is the key instrument in the study, then the results of the approach will be described in words. Because the analysis and sharpness of qualitative research is greatly affected by the strength of the words and sentences used. Collecting data in the form of observations and interviews, namely by collecting data from several sources and requiring researchers to go into the field to observe things related to space, place, actors, activities, time, events, goals. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang tercermin dalam kepribadian Umar bin Khattab, sebagaimana diuraikan oleh A.R Shohibul ulum dalam buku "The Great Figure of Umar bin khattab", sebagai salah satu khalifah yang paling berpengaruh dalam sejarah Islam, menunjukkan integritas, keadilan, keberanian, dan menjadikan suri tauladan yang baik dalam kepemimpinannya. Melalui analisis tindakan dan kebijakan beliau, artikel ini mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip akhlak yang dapat dijadikan teladan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, pembahasan ini menekankan pentingnya pendidikan akhlak dalam membentuk karakter individu dan masyarakat, serta relevansi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam konteks modern. Dengan demikian, Umar bin Khattab tidak hanya menjadi tokoh sejarah, tetapi juga sumber inspirasi bagi generasi masa kini dalam membangun kepribadian yang menjunjung nilai-nilai tinggi suatu akhlak. Pada artikel ini menggali prinsip-prinsip moral seperti keteladanan dalam bersikap dan kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk nilai-nilai akhlak yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan masa kini, serta bagaimana sikap dan perilaku Umar dapat menjadi teladan dalam membentuk karakter individu yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengamalan nilai-nilai tersebut sangat penting untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang berakhlak mulia.This article discusses the values of moral education as reflected in the personality of Umar bin Khattab, as described by A.R Shohibul Ulum in the book "The Great Figure of Umar bin Khattab", as one of the most influential caliphs in Islamic history, showing integrity, justice, courage, and being a good role model in his leadership. Through analysis of his actions and policies, this article identifies moral principles that can be used as examples in everyday life.In addition, this discussion emphasizes the importance of moral education in shaping the character of individuals and society, as well as the relevance of these values in the modern context. In this way, Umar bin Khattab is not only a historical figure, but also a source of inspiration for the current generation in building a personality that upholds high moral values. In this article, we explore moral principles such as exemplary behavior and leadership that is oriented towards human welfare. This research aims to establish moral values that are relevant in today’s educational context, as well as how Umar’s attitudes and behavior can be an example in forming good individual character. The research results show that the practice of these values is very important to create a society with noble morals.

Abstract

Fokus utama dari studi ini untuk menunjukkan pengaruh efektivitas metode tutor sebaya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa-siswi pada subjek materi Kemuhammadiyaan di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam studi ini adalah pendekatan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan eksperimen Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Studi terkait mencakup du akelas sebagai sampel, yaitu kelas VIII Carbon dan kelas VIII Dubnium, masing-masing berjumlah 25 siswa-siswi. Kelas VIII Dubnium dikenakan metode tutor sebaya, sementara kelas VIII Carbon menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah posttest yang terdiri dari pertanyaanpertanyaan serta pilihan jawaban. Data yang terkumpul dianalisa memakai uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan teori memakai uji t untuk sampel independen.Dari hasil analisis tersebut disimpulkan bahwa metode tutor sebaya berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa-siswi selama proses pembelajaran, mengurangi rasa jenuh, serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa-siswi. Dengan demikian, metode ini berpotensi mengoptimalkan pencapaian akademik peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Kemuhammadiyaan.The main focus of this study is to show the influence of the effectiveness of the peer tutoring method in improving students' understanding of the subject of Muhammadiyah at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design experiment. The study included two classes as samples, namely class VIII Carbon and class VIII Dubnium, each consisting of 25 students. Class VIII Dubnium was subjected to the peer tutoring method, while class VIII Carbon used the conventional method. The data collection instrument was a posttest consisting of questions and answer choices. The collected data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and theories using the t-test.  From the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the peer tutoring method had a significant effect on increasing students' active participation during the learning process, reducing boredom, and improving students' understanding. Thus, this method has the potential to optimize students' academic achievement in the subject of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Self-Directed Learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Al-Islam kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain The Posttest-Only Control-Group Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui Teknik Cluster dengan sistem stratified random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VII Care dan kelas VII DTCP dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Subyek penelitian ini pada kelas skontrol terdapat 19 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen terdapat 13 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan.  Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan tes objektif (Post-test) berbentuk pilihan ganda dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis non-parametrik yaitu Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis deskriptif maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol yaitu 68.83 sedangkan untuk nilai post-test kelas eksperimen yakni 96.67. Dari hasil analisis non parametrik maka diperoleh pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Al-Islam kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik tahun ajaran 2023/2024. This research aims to determine the effect of Self-Directed Learning on student learning achievement in class VII Al-Islam learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik. The research method used is a Quasi Experimental experimental method with The PosttestOnly Control-Group Design. The population in this study were class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample determination in this study was carried out using the Cluster Technique with a stratified random sampling system so that class VII Care and class VII DTCP were obtained with a total of 60 students. The subjects of this research in the control class were 19 male students and 11 female students, while in the experimental class there were 13 male students and 17 female students.  The data collection method used was an objective test (Post-test) in the form of multiple choice and interviews. The data analysis method was carried out using non-parametric analysis, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test using the SPSS 16.0 program. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average post-test score for the control class was 68.83, while the post-test score for the experimental class was 96.67. From the results of non-parametric analysis, that the SelfDirected Learning learning model has an effect on increasing student learning achievement in class VII Al-Islam learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The practice of Dhuha prayer in schools is an effort to shape students' good character. However, it is questionable whether this practice will truly impact students. Therefore, this research, conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas, aims to determine and analyze: (a) How Dhuha prayer is implemented at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas (b) Whether students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas understand the essence of Dhuha prayer (c) The extent of the influence of Dhuha prayer practice in shaping the religious character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with the aid of SPSS 22 software. The research findings indicate that the practice of Dhuha prayer has a relationship in enhancing the religious character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas, with a Pearson Correlation of (0.547) r table (0.413). This represents a 30% success rate, meaning the remaining 70% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, the more frequent the practice of Dhuha prayer, the better the students' religious character. However, to shape character optimally, support from various parties, especially parents and the community, is needed. This Study proves that there is a positive influence of habit of dhuha prayer on students’ religious character. Further research also needs to examine other factors that influence the effectiveness of the habit of dhuha prayer in improving students’ religious character.
