Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran flash card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa Sanggar Bimbingan Rawang, Selangor Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan desain One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design berbentuk O1 X O2. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji T pada aplikasi SPSS, yaitu pengujian kebenaran hipotesis apakah ada pengaruh atau tidaknya sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas 1 - 2 dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam empat kali pertemuan pembelajaran selama satu bulan dengan target peningkatan kemampuan menghafal serta memahami Asmaul Husna. Hasil penelitian, penggunaan media pembelajaran flash card dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa Sanggar Bimbingan Rawang, di tunjukkan dengan meningkatnya rata-rata perolehan data nilai pada target sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya intervensi. Sebelum dilakukan intervensi hasil yang didapat adalah 63,3 dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi meningkat menjadi 72,6. Selain itu, hasil dari pengujian uji T diperoleh data bahwa hipotesis diterima atau adanya pengaruh setelah dilakukannya intervensi, ditunjukan dengan perolehan output signifikansi sebesar 0,003 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran flash card efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa Sanggar Bimbingan Rawang, Selangor Malaysia.

Abstract

Innovation that acts as a solution so that education in Indonesia can improve. One solution is to use learning media. For this reason, researchers have carried out focusky-based learning media research. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods to analyze the effect of using Focusky learning media on the learning outcomes of class III students at Sanggar Guidance Hulu Langat Malaysia. This research took place over four meetings with a one group pretest-posttest design, involving a sample of 10 students. The research results show that the use of focusky media has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. The average pre-test score was 55 with the highest score being 70 and the lowest being 40, while the average post-test score increased to 84 with the highest score being 100 and the lowest being 70. Apart from that, the value of the paired samples test was 0.001 as we know. if the significance level is below 0.05; then it is stated that there is an influence of the test treatment on the results of the pretest and posttest. The use of focusky media also increases student motivation and involvement in the learning process. This research concludes that Focusky learning media is effective in improving learning outcomes and student enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, the use of interactive learning media such as focusky is highly recommended to improve the quality of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

The research we conducted was motivated by the low learning motivation of students at Sanggar Guidance Subang Mewah Selangor Malaysia in learning English. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing multimedia animaker in increasing motivation to learn English. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest and posttest design. The research sample consisted of 32 students from class I to class V, and the sampling technique was total sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire in order to measure the level of student learning motivation, and the data analysis technique used a paired sample test. The research results we obtained from the pretest with an average score of 28, while the average posttest score was 42. With a total of 884 pretests and a total of 1353 posttests. The use of animation in the learning process is a supporting element to increase learning motivation and make it easier for teachers to enrich the material. teach by utilizing technology. The responses given by students and teachers to the application of animaker in English learning were positive. So that after using animaker, students are able to play an active role, feel pleasure and enthusiasm so that the learning process runs effectively. So from processing this data it can be concluded that the application of multimedia animaker has had a significant impact on increasing motivation to learn English among students at Sanggar Guidance Subang Mewah Selangor Malaysia. Abstract

This study aimed to conduct a needs analysis for developing an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) teaching model at Muhammadiyah Kuningan College of Teacher Training and Education in West Java, Indonesia. The research involved 104 students enrolled in the Information and Communication Technology Education program, aged between 19 and 21 years. Additionally, six lecturers, holding master’s degrees in Information Technology and possessing teaching experience ranging from three to ten years, participated in the study. Data from students were gathered through a multiple-choice questionnaire administered via the Ruangmu Learning Management System (LMS), focusing on three key areas: prerequisites, challenges, and educational aspirations. The feasibility of the LMS-based ESP model was also assessed using a validated instrument endorsed by experts. Results highlighted the importance of a detailed needs analysis in identifying knowledge gaps, forming the basis for developing an effective teaching model. A gap analysis helped bridge the disparity between current and required competencies. Pre-test scores revealed averages of 59.32, with the median, lowest, and highest scores being 60, 30, and 80, respectively. A clear improvement was observed in post-test results, indicating that the Ruangmu LMS had a positive impact on students' learning outcomes. The paired sample test further validated this enhancement, showing a statistically significant improvement with a two-tailed significance value of 0.00. In conclusion, the findings suggest that the Ruangmu LMS plays a critical role in improving student outcomes in English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and analyze the adaptation of teaching and learning processes in the Covid-19 era, focusing on the implementation and effectiveness of various technological tools and strategies. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing observations and questionnaires to garner insights. A total of 232 respondents participated, predominantly comprising senior high school students from Kuningan District. The primary objective is to explore how educational institutions have innovated teaching and learning methodologies, emphasizing the utilization of technology, particularly WhatsApp, as a medium for facilitating education during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through a qualitative approach, the study utilized observations and questionnaires as instrumental tools for data collection. The findings revealed that online learning has emerged as a robust model in enhancing teaching and learning experiences across different educational stages, from early childhood to higher educational institutions. WhatsApp has been highlighted as a prevalent application, enabling teachers and students to navigate the challenges posed by the pandemic in the educational domain. Based on the findings, the study concludes that continuous inventive strategies are essential in teaching to adapt to changing scenarios and effectively respond to classroom needs. Furthermore, the integration of technology, like WhatsApp, in educational practices proves to be a valuable asset in overcoming the pandemic-induced challenges in education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of digital media usage on the interest and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. This research employs a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, while the data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and non-parametric tests. The research subjects involved 25 fourth-grade students from SDN 1 Sampora and 25 fourth-grade students from SDN 3 Sampora. The results indicate that the use of digital media has a positive effect on students' learning interest. Students appear more enthusiastic in participating in the lessons, active in discussions, and show an improvement in classroom participation. In addition, the students' learning test results also showed a significant improvement compared to learning using conventional media. The hypothesis test proved that there is a significant difference in average learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, indicating the effectiveness of digital media in enhancing the understanding of flat shape concepts. Thus, the use of digital media can be considered a relevant alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools, both in terms of interest and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of class 1 Prathom Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School in English material is one of the problems that occurs, this is due to the absence of the use of media in learning. This study aims to describe the application of Wordwall media in improving student learning outcomes in English lessons. This study type is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental Design approach (Non-design), with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects were the first-grade class of Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School, Tha Phae District, Satun Province, Thailand. The data acquisition techniques were obtained through a multiple choice test or pretest and posttest. The data analysis used by researchers was in the form of instruments and statistical tests. The research results obtained are (1) learning outcomes after using Wordwall media differ from the learning outcome before using Wordwall media. (2) there is an increase in learning outcomes after using Wordwall media compared to the learning outcome before the implementation. This study concludes that the application of Wordwall media has an impact on improving student learning outcomes. This research recommends that the Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School teachers probably use Wordwall media in learning English.
