Abstract

A business engaged in the sale of building materials and building tools. Customers are important assets that must be maintained properly, because each customer will bring profits that can keep the business running. To maintain customer loyalty, business owners provide an appreciation and appreciation for the best customers. However, determining the best customer is still difficult because the process of determining the best customer is still done manually and randomly. The number of customers is also an obstacle to the process of determining the best customer. The method used is weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) to determine the best customer by looking at 5 criteria including: Total Spend, Visit Loyalty, Quantity of Shopping, Distance, Frequency of Complaints. This method was chosen because it can reduce errors - errors or optimize in estimation for the selection of the highest and lowest values. The best customers will be rewarded and appreciated by business owners.  The result of this study is a Decision Support System to Determine the Best Customer Using the WASPAS Method. Questionnaire testing obtained user satisfaction results as much as 65% strongly agree, 25% agree, 10% sufficient and 0% disagree which shows that the system is in accordance with the needs and can be used.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) "Increasing the Capability of Management of Healthy Weblogs with Internet Content as a Means of Publication and Information for Students of Semarang 2 High School" involving partners of High School Middle School students in the city of Semarang. Many school students have not used the weblog to provide information and publications about activities related to learning, school organization activities and other activities. In this activity, partners will be given training in making weblogs with healthy internet content by the PKM team tailored to the level of needs and resources of each partner. At the end of this activity, it is expected that all students who take part in the training can create a weblog by filling out healthy internet content for the better so that it will improve  the  ability  of  publications  and  information  to  internet  users  as  a  form  of  community  service. The purpose of this service is to increase the ability of weblogs to share knowledge, publications and information of  students by creating a healthy internet on the weblog.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah perguruan tinggi beroprasi dan memberikan perubahan besar bagi perguruan tinggi, termasuk Universitas Semarang. Bagian Rumah Tangga (RT) di universitas bertanggung jawab dalam pengelolaan fasilitas umum, termasuk peminjaman fasilitas. Di tengah perubahan teknologi. Sistem peminjaman fasilitas masih menggunakan cara konvensional dan menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mengetahui ketersediaan fasilitas, kurangnya efisiensi, dan potensi kesalahan dalam proses peminjaman. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, dilakukan perancangan antarmuka ( UI/UX ) dengan pendekatan User Centered Design dan evaluasi menggunakan SUS (System Usability Scale) yang melibatkan 10 pengguna. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, dengan skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 85, memperoleh skala nilai (B) yang menandakan tingkat kepuasan “ Sangat Baik ”. Demikian pula dalam perancangan website E-fasilitas Universitas Semarang berhasil memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan pengguna, menunjukkan kesesuaian website dengan kebutuhan mereka. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk melakukan perancangan dan implementasi lebih lanjut pada sistem E-fasilitas, memastikan kesesuaian yang lebih baik dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Semarang City is the capital of Central Java Province which has a location in the middle of the province. Its strategic location is on the route across the North Coast of Java Island which connects major cities on Java Island. The high population in the city center requires the fulfillment of the need for livable housing, especially to accommodate urbanists whose jobs are concentrated in the trade and service sectors in the commercial area in the city center. The availability of complete facilities and infrastructure in the city center is also an attraction for people to live in the area. With the income level and economy of the community less so high, without realizing it, the need for livable settlements is difficult to accommodate. This study aims to build a decision support system (DSS) for the determination of Slum Areas in Semarang City using the COPRAS method. The COPRAS method has a good degree of selectivity because it can determine the purpose of conflicting criteria. System implementation is done using PHP language and MySQL database. The SPK that was built was able to produce recommendations by providing the ranking of slum areas to users.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of developing a decision support system that is expected to be able to provide assistance and simplify the process of assessing and calculating grades and shorten the time used in awarding Pesantren Ambassadors. This system will use two decision support system methods, such as the MOORA and ARAS methods. The MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization Based on Ratio Analysis) method uses complex mathematical calculations to solve a problem. ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) is an approach based on the intuitive principle that the available options should be relevant. The ARAS method has the greatest ratio to achieve the most effective solution by looking at each weight and comparing the value of each criterion for each choice. The user can determine which method he will use in determining a decision. The final result that will be displayed by the system is a battle that shows which Islamic Boarding School is selected based on the two methods.

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector that supports regional economic growth. In the Semarang area, the increasing number of tourist destinations provides many options for visitors, but it can also make it difficult for tourists to determine the most appropriate destination based on several considerations. Therefore, this study aims to develop a decision support system for selecting tourist destinations using a multi-criteria decision-making approach. The criteria used in this study include travel time, ticket price, tourist facilities, and destination rating. The data were obtained from digital tourism information and questionnaire responses from 64 respondents. The Entropy method was used to determine objective criteria weights based on data variation, while the MARCOS method was applied to rank tourist destination alternatives based on their proximity to ideal and anti-ideal solutions. The results show that Kota Lama is the most recommended tourist destination with the highest final score, followed by Lawang Sewu and Pagoda Avalokitesvara. The validation results using Spearman correlation analysis produced a coefficient value of 0.9879, indicating a very strong agreement between the ranking results generated by the Entropy–MARCOS model and tourist preference rankings. This study contributes by integrating objective weighting and ranking methods using digital tourism data to provide a structured approach for tourism decision support systems.

Abstract

This study applies the VIKOR method in determining the best type of animal feed to support the productivity of laying hens. This method is used to analyze and rank various feed alternatives based on a number of important criteria, such as nutritional quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Data collection was carried out through direct interviews with farmers and direct observations in the field. The analysis was carried out using a multicriteria approach with weights determined based on the level of importance of each criterion. The results of the study showed that alternative A7 (fish meal) with a Q value = 0.000 ranked highest as the most optimal type of animal feed. This shows that fish meal has the best balance in meeting the various criteria that have been set. Conversely, alternative A9 (table salt) with a Q value = 1.000 ranked lowest, reflecting its least optimal performance. The VIKOR method has proven effective in providing a balanced compromise solution, so that farmers can make more accurate and data-based decisions. The application of the VIKOR method in the selection of animal feed provides significant benefits in increasing livestock efficiency and productivity. In addition, this approach also supports more sustainable and competitive livestock management, so that it has the potential to be adopted more widely in the livestock sector.

Abstract

Public services at the village level often struggle with issues of efficiency and transparency due to outdated manual complaint systems. In Kalangdosari Village, having a digital platform that enables communication between residents and village officials is crucial for enhancing service quality. This study aims to design and create a web-based Community Complaint System (SIPADU) that can manage reports from the public in an integrated, transparent, and accountable manner. The method chosen for system development is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows for the quick and flexible creation of software through iterative cycles. System evaluation is conducted using two methods: Black Box Testing to verify technical functions and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess user satisfaction and experience. Test results indicate that all functional features of the SIPADU system operate according to technical specifications without failures. Usability testing revealed that the system is deemed acceptable (Acceptable) with a good rating (Good), indicating that the system's interface is easy for both village residents and administrators to understand and use. The implementation of SIPADU in Kalangdosari Village has proven effective in digitizing the complaint process and provides a RAD-based development framework that can be used in other villages. This research contributes to the utilization of information technology to enhance more responsive and modern village governance.

Abstract

The development of the fast-food culinary business in Indonesia, particularly the Rocket Chicken network in Semarang, requires optimal management of fresh vegetable raw material supply to maintain quality consistency and operational continuity. This study aims to evaluate vegetable supply performance at ten Rocket Chicken branches in the Semarang area by integrating the Entropy method for objective weighting and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) for alternative ranking. Data were collected through questionnaires from 34 respondents covering assessments of five main criteria (Price, Quality, Timeliness, Supply Continuity, Service and Responsiveness) as well as actual supplier performance assessments. The Entropy weighting results show Quality as the most important criterion (62.1%), followed by Supply Continuity (24.2%), Price (8.1%), Timeliness (4.0%), and Service (1.5%). The application of COPRAS, treating Price as a cost criterion and other criteria as benefits, yields the highest performance ranking at the MENOREH branch with a utility value of 1.0690 (100.00%), followed by TLOGOSARI (96.75%), MRICAN (96.00%), NGAILYAN (94.03%), and SEKARAN (92.64%). Validation using Spearman rank correlation shows methodological consistency with a coefficient of ρ = -0.939, indicating excellent results. The differences between Entropy and COPRAS results indicate different evaluation perspectives, where Entropy emphasizes information variation in data, while COPRAS focuses on cost-benefit combination optimization. This study provides practical contributions in the form of supply performance improvement priority recommendations focusing on vegetable quality enhancement and methodological contributions through the integration of Entropy-COPRAS proven effective for evaluating fresh food supply chain performance in the context of the Indonesian culinary business.
