Abstract

Monotonous and conventional learning processes using lecture methods can cause low student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the reality found at SD 3 Bae Kudus. Student learning outcomes are still low, from 19 students who reached KKM only 10 students (52.6%), while 9 students (47.4%) did not reach KKM. The problem in this research is how to improve teacher teaching skills, student learning activities, and improve student learning outcomes using Problem Based Learning assisted by audio visual media on the theme 1 of the beauty of the togetherness of PPKn and Bahasa Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to improve teacher teaching skills, student learning activities, and student learning outcomes using Problem Based Learning assisted by audio visual medi. This classroom action research will be carried out in the fourth grade of SD 3 Bae Kudus with research subjects of 19 students and teachers which lasted for 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The dependent variables in this study are teacher teaching skills, student learning activities, and student learning outcomes, while the independent variables in this study are audio visual media Problem Based Learning models. Data collection techniques include interview techniques, observation, tests, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that the learning outcomes of fourth graders at SD 03 Bae Kudus in learning Civics and Indonesian using a problem based learning model assisted by audio-visual media increased from pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle II. This can be proven from the average value of the pre-cycle class which only reached 66.96 with the percentage of classical learning completeness of 44.73%, in the first cycle the average value of the class increased to 71.83 with the percentage of classical learning completeness of 60, 52%, then in the second cycle the average value of the class increased very significantly to 82.75 with a classical completeness percentage of 92.1%. In conclusion, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of fourth graders at SD 03 Bae Kudus using the PBL model assisted by audio-visual media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of parents to improve the quality of learning for grade 1 students at SD N Sarimulyo in online learning during the pandemic. . Data collection techniques include the stages of observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification or drawing conclusions. The results showed that the efforts of parents to improve the quality of learning for grade 1 students at SD N Sarimulyo in online learning during the pandemic were to carry out the functions of parents as teachers, parents as facilitators, parents as motivators, parents as directors. As teachers, parents have the task of guiding children during online learning from home and participating in the learning process, for example understanding questions to help children learn. As facilitators, parents provide learning facilities such as stationery, textbooks to facilitate children in the learning process and facilities and infrastructure, for example providing quotas for the implementation of online learning. As a motivator, parents encourage children to carry out online learning. As directors, parents direct children according to their respective talents and interests.

Abstract

Pendidikan masyarakat merupakan salah satu bagian dari pembangunan sistem pendidikan yang dilibatkan untuk menjawab permasalahan masyarakat. Kolaborasi sosial dilakukan dengan mengedepankan proses belajar berbasis kedekatan anak dengan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bentuk interaksi sosial masyarakat terhadap budaya sebagai upaya pelestarian sumber mata air, internalisasi nilai sosial, etika dan ekonomi terhadap pelestarian sumber mata air. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada masyarakat tradisional, budaya dan lingkungan merupakan aktivitas yang menjadi jembatan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang memecahkan permasalahan ekologi lingkungan pada anak. Pemaknaan ekologi budaya berdasar norma sosial membentuk anak memiliki kepatuhan kuat terhadap alam.

Abstract

Calligraphy artwork includes fun learning, which is none other than visual learning by using pictures (visual literacy). The purpose of this study is to find out the process, results and values contained in children's visual language in calligraphy artwork for children in Tanjungrejo Village. This study uses a type of qualitative research with narrative analysis. The location of this research was at the residence of Mr. I, which was a place to recite the Koran for children in Tanjungrejo Village, especially in Beji Kauman Hamlet, to be precise, in Rt 03 Rw 10, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency. The primary data sources are teachers and children who recite the Koran at the place of recitation in Tanjungrejo Jekulo Kudus Village. Secondary data sources come from research documentation, field notes and other supports. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on the results of the research and discussion conducted, it can be concluded that the visual language of children's calligraphy artwork in Tanjungrejo Village can be further improved. This is because in making works children are able to pay attention to several elements of works of art and design principles. With this research, it can foster self-confidence from children towards their work. self-confidence can support children's social development which can affect other developments, be it cognitive, physical-motor, language, social-emotional, etc

Abstract

Pola asuh merupakan faktor penting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak atau menghambat pertumbuhannya. Orang tua tunggal (single parent) adalah hasil dari perceraian atau perpisahan, kelahiran atau kematian yang tidak sah. Padahal pendidikan adalah sejenis usaha manusia untuk mengembangkan potensi diri baik fisik maupun mental. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gaya pendidikan orang tua tunggal (single parent) berpendidikan rendah dalam mengasuh anak dan hambatan orang tua tunggal (single parent) berpendidikan rendah dalam Pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Dalam penelitian kualitatif ini, peneliti menggunakan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Taknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima keluarga tunggal (single parent) berpendidikan rendah meliputi dua keluarga tunggal disebabkan karena salah satu pasanganya meninggal dunia, dua keluarga tunggal disebabkan karena perceraian dan satu keluarga tunggal disebabkan karena salah satu pasangannya telah pergi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya pengasuhan orang tua tunggal (single parent) berpedidikan rendah dalam pendidikan anak menerapkan model pengasuhan demokratif dan model pengasuhan pesuasif dalam pengasuhan anak. Orang tua tunggal (single parent) berpendidikan rendah menghadapi empat hambatan yaitu kemampuan orang tua, kepribadian anak, ekonomi dan waktu luang.

Abstract

Think Pair Share model can give students more time to think, answer, respond and through this method the teaching materials presentation will be more alive by discussing solving a problem with their partners. This study tried to promote the use of Think Pair Share models aided by puzzle media to solve learning problems of fourth grade of State Elementary School 02 Kebonsawahan in theme of The Beauty of Diversity in My Country. This study aimed to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes through the Think Pair Share learning model and puzzle media in Civic Education and Indonesian Language content through two cycles of classroom action research. The results showed an increase after learning by using Think Pair Share learning models assisted by puzzle media in aspect of knowledge attitude and skill. Students’ learning outcomes in aspects of knowledge increased from the cycle I by an average of 69.1 with 64% classical completeness (need guidance) to be an average of 86.1 with 89% classical completeness (good) in cycle II. While in attitude aspects, students’ learning outcomes of cycle I which gained a percentage of 72.45% (need guidance) increased in the cycle II by 83.63% (good). The learning outcomes of students in the skills aspect also perfomed an improvement from a percentage of 73.83% (need guidance) in cycle I to be a percentage of 84.13% (good)  in cycle II. This result indicated that the TPS model effectively solve the problems of inactive learning in elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the type of parenting in the family education of SD 1 Gulang students, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency.This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in Gulang Village, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency. The research subjects were grade 4 students of SD 1 Gulang. The data collection techniques used include direct observation, interviews, research documentation, and note taking. Interviews were conducted with parents of students who implemented parenting, students, and teachers who were the main informants. In analyzing the data, the Milles Huberman model was used, namely the analysis was carried out including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.The results showed that SD 1 Gulang students received family education from parents who applied various types of parenting styles. The following shows several types of parenting that are found (1) democratic patterns, democratic parenting is a form of parenting that is cooperative for children, but there are certain limitations, this pattern is able to provide maximum education in the family so that children have good character and social attitudes. (2) neglect, this form of parenting has a tendency for parents not to be involved at all in the child's life, (3) authoritarian, the family provides strict supervision to the child so that the parents are quite dominant in the child's life and (4) permissive, the parents In providing assistance, only providing needs without providing good family education to children. Of the four types of parenting found, it is known that democratic patterns are parenting styles that have a positive role for children. The three other parenting styles do not have a positive role. As a result, students become passive and cannot socialize well, so that family education is important for a child's life, especially SD 1 Gulang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine elementary school students’ learning motivation in Gemiring Lor Village during online learning. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants who were the primary data sources were elementary school students and elementary school teachers in Gemiring Lor Village, Nalumsari District, Jepara Regency. Data were obtained through the process of observation, interviews, documentation, and recording. The validity test employed source triangulation techniques, and data analysis techniques were in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion or verification. This study’s findings showed a difference in motivation between one and another student. The students’ motivation level was influenced by environmental factors, such as parents, family, and playmates. Besides, the Gemiring Lor Village teachers had a strategic role in motivating students during the online learning process. This study suggests a particular strategy from the school, teachers, parents, and the student environment to stabilize and increase their motivation.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran PPKN SDN 8 Kedungsari tergolong masih sedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran PPKN di SDN 8 Kedungsari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 5 siswa dari kelas V dan wali kelas V yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan temuan analisis data bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn masih tergolong sedang. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya ialah siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami materi, lingkungan belajar yang tidak kondusif, serta semangat dari orang tua siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa guru telah menjalankan perannya dengan upaya untuk mengatasi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn namun hasilnya belum maksimal sehingga harus lebih diupayakan lagi. Saran yang harus diperhatikan kepada siswa ialah agar siswa lebih mendorong dirinya agar termotivasi belajar. Kepada guru supaya dapat menerapkan strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua dalam mengembangkan perilaku sosial anak di Desa Pagendisan Kecamatan Winong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anak dan orang tua di Desa Pagendisan Kecamatan Winong. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif dengan tiga unsur utama yaitu reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari lima subjek orang tua empat diantaranya memberikan pola asuh demokratis dan satunya otoriter. Dampak dari pemberian pola asuh demokratis memunculkan perilaku sosial anak yang mampu bertindak atas kemampuannya sendiri, sementara pemberian dengan pola asuh otoriter menjadikan anak sulit mengambil keputusan sendiri karena masih diperintah terus menerus oleh orang tua. Meskipun begitu kelima subjek anak-anak mampu menunjukan perilaku sosial anak pada kesehariannya yang mampu menghormati orang lain, tolong menolong, sopan dan santun, peka dan peduli, serta berterima kasih dengan baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah rata-rata orang tua di Desa Pagendisan memberikan pola asuh demokratis yang memberikan dampak ke anak mandiri dan percaya diri dalam berperilaku sosial. hasil penelitian semoga dapat dijadikan study betapa pentingnya pola asuh orang tua dalam keluarga dalam membentuk perilaku sosial anak.
