Abstract

Development of learning by using tools or tools that are useful for improving learning and conveying information. The purpose of this research is to develop learning based on throwing material applications for middle school PJOK teachers in Pasuruan Regency. This research and development learning method uses a research and development method by following seven steps. By using a quantitative descriptive study and using percentages, the results of the study of data from learning experts get a percentage of 88,5%, throw learning experts 87,5%, media experts 98,5%, and involving 36 middle school PJOK teachers in Pasuruan Regency. The small group trial was distributed to 11 respondents and the large group distributed to 25 respondents obtained the results of 92,25% small group and 83,5% large group. Based on these data it can be concluded that this application based learning development product for throwing materials is very valid and suitable for use by PJOK SMP teachers.

Abstract

Media development as an effort to introduce regional culture is considered essential to do. Technological developments make students' motivation to study culture begin to fade and shift with the emergence of Western civilization. This is motivated by the need for more interesting local culture introduction media for students and regional, cultural, and educational content in online or offline media. Therefore, learning media is needed to introduce regional culture. The objectives of this development research are: (1) Producing culture game education media board game products; (2) Testing and knowing the feasibility of culture game education media board game products; and (3) Knowing the effectiveness of culture game education board game media products in increasing learning motivation on material Sub Theme 2: "The Beauty of My Country's Cultural Diversity" for grade IV Elementary School. The development model used is ADDIE. The results of this development research are: (1) Learning media products, board game culture, and game education; and (2) Based on the validation that has been carried out on material experts and learning media experts, it is stated that the culture game education board game is suitable for use in the learning process and can be implemented for students with a percentage of the validity test of material experts, namely 89% and a percentage of the validity test of learning media experts, namely 98%. The results of the practicality test using the culture game education board game by the teacher obtained a score of 91%, while the trial results related to the percentage of students' motivation to learn culture through this media was 86%. The conclusion is based on the development done; the culture game education board game is declared appropriate when used as a medium to introduce regional culture.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dialami guru di SDN Tasikmadu 2 Kota Malang yaitu kesulitan membuat modul P5 dikarenakan guru merasa kebingungan sebab guru harus mengidentifikasi lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu juga terdapat permasalahan ketika pembelajaran P5 seperti penyusunan modul P5 masalah lain juga dialami oleh guru, diantaranya keberlanjutan program P5, dan kesenjangan produk yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan P5 di SDN Tasikmadu 2 Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan implementasi P5 bagi guru SDN Tasikmadu 2 Kota Malang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat selain untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian, yaitu tim pengabdian telah mencapai luaran meliputi video dokumentasi kegiatan, serta poster. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan perubahan pemahaman yang signifikan terkait pelaksanaan, tujuan, hingga evaluasi program P5. Hasil dari angket tersebut diperoleh bahwa peserta merasa puas dengan pelaksanaan pendampingan. Peserta juga merasa wawasannya meningkat setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Scientific publication is an academic activity that must be carried out. This article aims to analyze scientific publications in education: the “scourge” for academics. Several academics consisting of 10 lecturers, 10 teachers, and 10 students were interviewed to obtain valid data. Apart from that, observations and analysis of several documents were carried out to support valid data. The results show that academics have difficulty carrying out scientific publications due to limited knowledge and information regarding how to write scientific articles by journal standards, difficulty finding credible journals, difficulty identifying journals that suit the topic and scope of the article, language limitations, high publication costs, and intensity. Rejection from the journal editor. Based on the treatment carried out, namely through training on the effective scientific publication strategy "MeRePeCeKoRe", there was an increase in the knowledge and ability of academics to conduct scientific publications by 80%. Academics need practice and a habit of writing articles to improve their skills in scientific publications.

Abstract

One of the eight SDGs is decent work and economic growth. The SDG's goal can be interpreted as human welfare will be achieved if they have decent work. Based on this need, all stakeholders must be able to create the widest possible employment opportunities. To realize these ideals or goals, there needs to be participation and collaboration between institutions/sectors, including the involvement of universities. One of the roles of higher education in supporting the realization of the SDG's goals is empowering students who live in campus dormitories by providing experience (soft skills) to students in the field of edupreneurship (entrepreneurship). Therefore, assistance in preparing business planning for the State University of Malang campus dormitory students was carried out. The results obtained from this activity are that dormitory students can produce eight prospective business plans realized in the business model canvas (BMC).

Abstract

Abstrak : Media pada proses belajar dijadikan sebagai alat atau sumber belajar yang berguna dalam membantu seorang guru. Penelitian ini bermaksud menciptakan sebuah media pembelajaran bernama mini atlas berbasis QR-Code yang valid menurut ahli media dan materi, praktis bagi pengguna (guru), dan juga menarik menurut siswa kelas V SDN Purwodadi 1 Malang. Pengembangan ini menggunakan metode ASSURE. Untuk pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini antaralain melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, serta dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan pada data kualitatif menggunakan deskriptif naratif, sedangkan untuk data kuantitatif menggunakan deskriptif kuantitaf. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mini atlas berbasis QR-Code dinyatakan valid menurut dua ahli media dengan rata-rata skor 91,5 percent, valid menurut dua hali materi dengan rata-rata skor 97,2 percent, praktis menurut pengguna yaitu guru dengan skor 97,2 percent, serta menarik menurut siswa dengan rata-rata skor 97,11 percent.

Abstract

This program aims to improve students' reading literacy by strengthening teachers' professional competencies in conducting relevant and contextual diagnostic assessments of reading difficulties in multilingual and multicultural environments. The main challenges in the field are teachers' lack of understanding of effective diagnostic assessment concepts and methods, as well as the limited availability of structured assessment tools. In the context of globalization, reading skills are a major factor in students' academic success and adaptation. This activity includes seminars, theoretical and practical training, and assistance in developing valid and reliable diagnostic instruments. The community service activity was held on August 3 to 7, 2025, involving 40 teachers from various educational backgrounds. Teachers were trained to accurately identify students' reading difficulties so that learning interventions could be designed in a targeted and sustainable manner. The results of this activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of diagnostic assessment and higher student reading motivation. Teachers acquired practical skills in developing and using diagnostic instruments that can be used on an ongoing basis. This increase in competence is expected to strengthen the position of schools as adaptive and data-driven educational institutions. Thus, this program can make a real contribution to improving the quality of reading literacy and supporting the sustainable development of international education in Indonesian schools abroad.

Abstract

Social studies subjects provide students with the chance to make them good citizens. However, teachers face challenges in teaching social studies materials in elementary school. To comprehensively find out the challenges in teaching social studies, the method used in this research is a literature study, with the stages of identification (344 articles), screening (78 articles), and inclusion (19 articles). The keywords used in data collection are challenges and difficulties in teaching social studies in elementary school. Based on the analysis of the articles, it was found that the challenges in teaching social studies materials in elementary schools include difficulties in integrating STEM subjects with social studies, limited time for social studies learning, lack of resources and access to information, lack of funding for facilities and infrastructure, inadequate evaluation and monitoring by the government, challenges for parents in supporting social studies learning, and limited socialization and guidance for teachers. Mata Pelajaran IPS memainkan peran penting dalam kurikulum SD, memberikan siswa landasan pengetahuan yang kuat tentang dunia di sekitar mereka dan menjadikannya sebagai warga negara yang baik. Namun demikian terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam membelajarkan materi IPS di SD. Untuk mengetahui secara komprehensif tantangan dalam membelajarkan IPS, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan tahapan identifikasi (344 artikel), screening (78 artikel), dan inklusi (19 artikel). Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu tantangan dalam membelajarkan IPS, kesulitan dalam membelajarkan IPS, dan pembelajaran IPS di SD. Berdasarkan analisis artikel diperoleh hasil bahwa tantangan dalam membelajarkan materi IPS di SD antara lain kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan mata pelajaran STEM dengan IPS, terbatasnya waktu pembelajaran IPS, kurangnya sumber daya dan akses informasi, kurangnya dana sarana dan prasarana, tidak memadainya evaluasi dan monitoring oleh pemerintah, tantangan orang tua dalam mendukung pembelajaran IPS, serta terbatasnya sosialisasi dan bimbingan bagi guru.

Abstract

Abstract: All regions in the world are at risk of disaster. As part of the world, Indonesia is also an archipelagic country that is prone to disasters. One of the areas that is the focus of this research and development is the Malang area in East Java province. This area is one of the areas that recently experienced disasters in the form of volcanic eruptions, floods, and landslides in 2021-2023. The purpose of this study is to produce a geological and climatological natural disaster hazard map for learning in elementary schools. The research method used is the ADDIE research and development model which has 5 steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research techniques and instruments that will be used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses quantitative analysis with percentage techniques and qualitative analysis with a description of the product manufacturing and testing process. The results of the study showed that the geological and climatological natural disaster hazard map developed was declared valid by material experts and media experts with a percentage of 95% and 92%. After being tested in elementary schools, it received a 100% appeal rating from students. Student learning outcomes also show that 50% of students are included in the high category of learning outcomes improvement and 50% of students are in the medium category. These results indicate that the product can improve the quality of student learning. Abstrak: Seluruh wilayah di dunia mempunyai ancaman bencana. Sebagai bagian dari dunia, Indonesia juga merupakan negara kepulauan yang rawan terhadap bencana. Salah satu daerah yang menjadi fokus penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah daerah Malang provinsi Jawa Timur. Daerah ini merupakan salah satu daerah yang baru-baru ini pada tahun 2021-2023 mengalami bencana berupa gunung meletus, banjir, dan tanah longsor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan peta bahaya bencana alam geologi dan klimatologi untuk pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki 5 langkah yaitu Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi. Teknik dan instrumen penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase dan juga kualitatif dengan deskripsi proses pembuatan dan pengujian produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peta rawan bencana alam geologi dan klimatologi yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan persentase 95% dan 92%. Setelah diuji coba di SD mendapat penilaian daya tarik 100% dari siswa. Hasil belajar siswa juga menunjukkan bahwa 50% siswa termasuk pada peningkatan hasil belajar kategori tinggi dan 50% siswa pada kategori sedang. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa produk dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran siswa.
