Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model Based on Writing Experimental Report yang valid dan reliabel yang dapat membelajarkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Rangkaian arus searah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain menggunakan Education Research and Development (R D) Borg Gall. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini di batasi pada tahap studi pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Analisis hasil validasi menggunakan statistik percentage of agreement (R) diatas 75%. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa rata-rata reliabelitas RPP dengan persentase sebesar 90,56%, LKPD sebesar 84,77%, lembar penilaian (LP) soal KBK sebesar 87,14% dan format penulisan laporan eksperimen (FPLE) 79,64%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan kategori baik, oleh karena itu perangkat pembelajaran model BW-ExPort untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa hasil pengembangan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The research's goal was to create student worksheets based on the INoSIT model with the help of Flip PDF Professional that met the criteria for validity, applicability, and effectiveness to improve junior high school students' scientific literacy competence. The study adopted a research and development (R&D) design with a 4-D model. The student worksheets were tested at Junior High School 10 Kendari using one-group pretest-posttest design involving science teachers as observers. The research subjects for the limited trial were 15 students, and the extensive test was conducted with 27 students. Three validators provided personal validation of the student worksheets, which led to the collection of practicality data through observation sheets on the application of learning, student activities, teacher and student response questionnaires, and effectiveness data through science literacy test instruments. The research showed that the INoSIT model student worksheets fell into valid and reliable categories. For the limited and extensive trials, the n-gain <g> analysis results on measures of science literacy, like being able to explain scientific phenomena, were 0.632 and 0.712, respectively. This means that they were in the moderate to high category. Furthermore, regarding evaluating and designing scientific inquiries, the average normalized gain was 0.541–0.580, indicating an intermediate category. Similarly, on the indicators of interpreting data and scientific evidence, the average normalized gain was 0,510-0,572, indicating a moderate category. Based on this data, the INoSIT model student worksheets were considered practical and effective in improving the scientific literacy competence of junior high school students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru Fisika yang tergabung dalam MGMP Fisika Kota Ternate untuk membuat alat peraga dan mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa LKS Fisika. Hal ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari hasil temuan penelitian sebelumnya bahwa guru-guru Fisika yang tergabung dalam MGMP Fisika Kota Ternate masih belum terlatih dalam pembuatan alat peraga dan pengembangan LKS. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian berupa metode sosialisasi, pelatihan, serta pendampingan. Metode sosilisasi dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta pelatihan tentang alat ukur serta pengembangan LKS Fisika. Selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi dengan mengambil contoh alat peraga praktikum cermin dan pemantulan dengan LKS guided inquiry. Kegiatan terakhir yaitu pendampingan pembuatan alat peraga fisika sederhana serta LKS yang langsung diuji cobakan kepada siswa SMA. Saat kegiatan berlangsung guru-guru sangat antusias untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan karena sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru Fisika dalam membuat alat peraga dan mengembangkan LKS.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine the multi-representation abilities and conceptual understanding of physics students as the impact of implementing e-books based on TPACK. The reality on the field shows that the representation ability of students at various education levels is still inadequate.  The research design used in this research is a group pretest-posttest design. The subjects involved in this research were 30 students from the Physics Education Study Program at Universitas Khairun (Unkhair) and 34 students from the Physics Education Study Program at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). The instrument used in this research, namely multi-representation questions, was adopted from the Representation-Force Concept Inventory (R-FCI) instrument with a modified presentation in the form of Google Form so that it is more in line with current developments in educational technology. The results of the research show that the multi-representation abilities and conceptual understanding of in-service physics teachers at Unkhair have increased respectively by 0.43 and 0.56 in the moderate category. after the learning process using e-books based on TPACK. Meanwhile, in-service physics teachers at UPI have increased respectively by 0.89 and 0.87 in the high category. This shows that the physics e-book based on TPACK developed can improve students' multi-representation abilities and understanding of concepts as expected.

Abstract

Physics practicum activities in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) require learning models that not only strengthen students’ cognitive skills but also integrate character values aligned with Islamic education. This study aims to develop and evaluate the BW-ExPort (Based–Writing–Experimental Report) learning model to improve students’ critical thinking skills during physics practicum activities in MA. Using a Research and Development (R&D) design, the study proceeded through three stages: preliminary study, model development, and field testing. The participants consisted of 82 eleventh-grade students from two MA in North Maluku. Data were gathered through expert validation, classroom observation, and critical thinking assessments, and analyzed using the Rasch model with stacking and racking techniques. Stacking analysis via the Wright Map revealed a clear increase in student ability, shifting from pre-test logits (–3 to 0) to post-test logits (0 to +3), with one student reaching +4. Interpretation and explanation items became easier after the intervention, while evaluation and inference items remained comparatively difficult, indicating the need for additional scaffolding. Racking analysis further confirmed increased item ease, suggesting improved mastery. The BW-ExPort model is valid, practical, and effective in strengthening students’ critical thinking during physics practicum activities. By integrating Islamic scientific ethics such as honesty and responsibility, BW-ExPort offers a culturally grounded and impactful model for digital-based science learning that supports both cognitive growth and character development in Islamic educational settings.
