Abstract

Abstract. School satisfaction among adolescents affects students school achievements greatly. A higer rate school satisfaction makes student achievements to be higher. Students spends a lot of time in school, so student welfare cannot be seen separately from the school context. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between satisfaction with school, level of students’ school satisfaction and their SWB, along with the factors of school satisfaction that most contribute to SWB in junior high school students of Bandung. This study uses quantitative research methods with a cross-sectional research design. The sampling technique used is stratified cluster random sampling. The measuring instrument used is a measuring instrument from Children's World, namely School Satisfaction, CW-SWBS5 and OLS. The participants of this study were 849 students with the percentage of students being 56.2% female students and 43.8% male students. The results of this study indicate that female students (M = 76.1) have higher school satisfaction than male students (M = 73.3%). Overall, junior high school students in Bandung have school statisfaction which is at a level slightly above the average (M = 75.13) and their SWB is at a level slightly above average (M = 79.91). The factor of satisfaction with school that contributes the most to overall life satisfaction is satisfaction with other students in class. And the most contributing factor to SWB is satisfaction with the things learned in school. Abstrak. Kepuasan terhadap sekolah di kalangan remaja sangat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar. Kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang tinggi membuat prestasi belajar siswa juga semakin tinggi. Siswa menghabiskan banyak waktu di sekolah maka kesejahteraan siswa tidak dapat dilihat secara terpisah dari konteks sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kepuasan terhadap sekolah, taraf kepuasan terhadap sekolah dan SWB siswa, beserta faktor-faktor kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang paling berkontribusi terhadap SWB pada siswa SMP di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu stratisfied cluster random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah alat ukur dari Children’s World yaitu School Satisfaction, CW-SWBS5 dan OLS. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 849 siswa dengan persentase siswa yaitu 56.2% siswa perempuan dan 43.8% siswa laki- laki. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan siswa perempuan (M = 76.1) memiliki kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki (M= 73.3%). Secara keseluruhan siswa SMP di Kota Bandung memiliki kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang berada pada taraf sedikit di atas rata-rata (M = 75.13) dan SWB siswa SMP berada pada taraf sedikit di atas rata-rata (M = 79.91). Faktor kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang paling berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kehidupan siswa secara menyeluruh adalah kepuasan terhadap teman-teman lain di kelas. Dan faktor yang paling berkontribusi terhadap SWB siswa adalah kepuasan dengan hal- hal yang dipelajari di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia has implemented Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) to prevent the spread of COVID-19. COVID-19 does not only have an impact on the individual's physical but psychological as well. Where COVID-19 has affected the mental health of adolescents living in orphanages. The study has shown the increasing concern felt by the orphanage adolescents age 10 to 18 during the COVID-19 period. This affects their subjective well-being (SWB). This study aims to determine how the SWB for adolescents at the orphanage in the city of Bandung also includes the concerns on how they feels during the COVID-19 period. Participants involved this study are (N = 380; 43.2% male and 56.8% female). The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The measuring instruments used in this study were from Children's World, namely CW-SWBS5, Children World Under COVID-19 and CW-PNAS. The results of this study showed that younger male adolescents (M = 83.55; SD = 16.81) had higher SWB scores than female adolescents (M = 78.53; SD = 20.28) who were older. Overall, the orphanage adolescents had a mean SWB score (M = 80.70; SD = 19.00). According to the Cummins homeostasis theory, this score is above the normal average SWB score, which means that orphanage adolescents feel well-being during the COVID-19 period. Meanwhile, male worries were higher than females, and as they got older, their worries decreased. Orphanage adolescents reported increase stress and boredom with age, as well as a decreased pleasure and excitement during the COVID-19 period. Boredom and loneliness were also higher in female adolescents than male adolescent. Abstrak. Indonesia melakukan penerapan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. COVID-19 tidak hanya berdampak pada fisik individu namun psikologis juga. Dimana COVID-19 telah mempengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan. Yang ditunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan kekhawatiran yang dirasakan remaja Panti Asuhan usia 8-10 tahun selama masa COVID-19. Hal tersebut mempengaruhi subjective well-being (SWB) mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana SWB remaja Panti Asuhan di Kota Bandung yang juga meliputi kekhawatiran yang mereka rasakan pada masa COVID-19. Partisipan penelitian ini (N = 380; 43.2% laki-laki dan 56.8% perempuan). Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dari Children’s World yaitu CW-SWBS5, Children World Under COVID-19 dan CW-PNAS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan remaja laki-laki (M = 83.55; SD = 16.81) dengan usia lebih muda memiliki skor SWB lebih tinggi dibandingkan remaja perempuan (M = 78.53; SD = 20.28) dengan usia lebih tua. Secara keseluruhan remaja panti asuhan memiliki skor means SWB (M = 80.70; SD = 19.00). Menurut teori homeostasis Cummins skor tersebut berada di atas rata-rata normal skor SWB yang artinya remaja panti asuhan merasa well-being di masa COVID-19. Sedangkan pada kekhawatiran laki-laki memiliki kekhawatiran lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan dan seiring bertambahnya usia kekhawatiran mereka menurun. Remaja panti asuhan melaporkan seiring bertambahnya usia adanya peningkatan pada stres dan bosan juga penurunan pada kesenangan dan semangat selama masa COVID-19. Kebosanan dan kesepian juga lebih tinggi pada remaja perempuan dibandingkan remaja laki-laki.

Abstract

Abstract. Adolescent spend more time with their friends, however, the emergence of the COVID-19 virus prevents adolescent from interacting with their friends face-to-face, especially adolescent who live in orphanages. So this makes them dissatisfied and affects their subjective well-being (SWB). This study is a longitudinal study that compares friendship satisfaction and SWB in the first and second year of adolescent at an orphanage in the city of Bandung. In the first year of research, the results showed that there was no significant difference between before the pandemic and in the first year of the pandemic. The sample selected in this study is the same sample as the previous study. Participants in this study (N = 129; 32.6% male and 67.4% female). The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The measuring instrument used is CW-SWBS5 and friendship satisfaction from Children's World. Analysis of compare means paired sample t-test was used to see whether or not there was a difference in friendship satisfaction and SWB in the second and third years. Linear regression analysis was used to examine contributions and explain differences in friendship satisfaction and SWB in the first and second years of COVID-19. As a result, the SWB of the first and second years of COVID-19 had a significant difference (M: 7,782) where the second year was lower. Friendship satisfaction has the most significant contribution to SWB by 15.2% in the first year and 30.2% in the second year, and shows an unidirectional relationship. Abstrak. Remaja lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan teman-temannya, namun, kedatangan virus COVID-19 ini menghalangi remaja untuk berinteraksi dengan teman-temannya secara tatap muka, khususnya remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian longitudinal yang membandingkan kepuasan pertemanan dan SWB tahun pertama dan kedua COVID-19 pada remaja panti asuhan di Kota Bandung. Pada penelitian tahun pertama COVID-19 didapatkan hasil tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum pandemi dan pada pandemi tahun pertama. Sampel yang dipilih pada penelitian ini merupakan sampel yang sama dengan penelitian pada tahun pertama COVID-19. Partisipan penelitian ini (N = 129; 32.6% laki-laki dan 67.4% perempuan). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Children’s Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 (CW-SWBS5) dan kepuasan pertemanan dari Children’s World. Untuk menganalisis perbedaan nilai rerata kepuasan pertemanan dan SWB pada tahun pertama dan kedua COVID-19, digunakan paired sample t-test. Regresi linear digunakan untuk menguji kontribusi kepuasan pertemanan dan SWB tahun pertama dan kedua COVID-19. Hasilnya menunjukkan SWB tahun pertama dan kedua COVID-19 memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan (p < .01) dimana tahun kedua COVID-19 lebih rendah (M=75.40; SD=18.70) dibandingkan dengan tahun pertama COVID-19 (M=83.18; SD=14.88). Kepuasan pertemanan memiliki kontribusi paling signifikan terhadap SWB 15.2% di tahun pertama COVID-19 dan 30.2% di tahun kedua COVID-19. Guna mempertahankan kepuasan pertemanan dan SWB remaja panti asuhan selama pandemic, hendaknya pengelola panti asuhan membentuk iklim pertemanan seperti kelompok belajar dan non-belajar remaja panti asuhan.

Abstract

Abstract. The research outcomes regarding the family support and social anxiety experienced by the victims of cyberbullying are still being debated. This study aims to determine the relationship of family support towards social anxiety of cyber bullying victims in high school students in Bandung City. The participants of this study (N = 221; 55.2% female and 44.8% male) were high school students aged 15-18 years old in Bandung City. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. This study used linear regression analysis to examine the contribution of family support towards social anxiety. Family support was measured using the Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), the social anxiety variable was measured using the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent (SAS-A) and the cyberbullying variable used the Cyber ​​Bullying Victim. The results of this research show that the more often parents exhibit pride (β = .180; p < .05), understand the victim (β = -.242; p < .05), and inform the victim nicely if they make a mistake (β = -.248; p < .05), the less the fear of being evaluated negatively by others is felt by victim, and vice versa. Likewise, the more often parents praise the victim (β = .203; p < .05), the less social avoidance felt by the victim. Hence, the family support plays a significant roles in lessening social anxiety felt by the victims of cyberbullying. Abstrak. Hasil-hasil penelitian mengenai dukungan keluarga dan kecemasan sosial yang dirasakan oleh korban perundungan siber masih menjadi perdebatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kecemasan sosial korban perundungan siber pada remaja SMA di Kota Bandung. Partisipan penelitian ini (N = 221; 55.2% perempuan dan 44.8% laki-laki) adalah remaja SMA berusia 15-18 tahun di Kota Bandung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier untuk menguji kontribusi dukungan keluarga dengan kecemasan sosial. Dukungan keluarga diukur menggunakan alat ukur Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), variabel kecemasan sosial diukur menggunakan alat ukur Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent (SAS-A) dan variabel perundungan siber diukur menggunakan alat ukur Korban Perundungan Siber. Hasil menunjukkan semakin sering orang tua menunjukkan rasa bangga (β = .180; p < .05), memahami korban (β = -.242; p < .05), dan memberi tahu secara baik-baik ketika korban melakukan kesalahan (β = -.248; p < .05) maka ketakutan di evaluasi negatif oleh orang lain yang dirasakan korban akan menurun, dan begitupun sebaliknya. Begitupun semakin sering orang tua memuji korban (β = .203; p < .05) maka penghindaran sosial yang dirasakan korban akan menurun. Sehingga dukungan keluarga berperan penting dalam menurunkan kecemasan sosial yang dirasakan oleh korban perundungan siber.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the components of school climate which can affect junior high school students' SWB, especially for those who have been the victims of cyber-bullying and live in Bandung. The data are collected online by using Google Forms through convenience sampling technique. The participants are junior high school students who have been the victims of cyber-bullying, ranging from age 12 – 16 years old (N = 537; 58.5% female; 41.5% male). The perceptions of school climate are measured with a measuring instrument from Children's World, while the SWB is measured with Children's Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 Items version (CW-SWBS5), and the categorization of the students who have been the victims of cyber-bullying used an instrument from Patchin and Hinduja. The data are analyzed with linear regression analysis so as to examine school climate components' contribution for the SWB of the victims of cyber-bullying. Descriptive statistic ANOVA is used to test the difference in the mean of SWB. The results show that school climate components have a 17.5% relationship with the SWB of junior high school students who have been the victims of cyber-bullying. The school climate components that contribute significantly to the SWB of these victims are the perception on friends who are willing to help when they get into trouble (ꞵ = .152; p < .01) and the perception of class fights (ꞵ = -.146; p < .01). Schools should ensure that their climate is conducive to avoiding violence between students, and teachers should pay attention to the relationship between students so that it is known who their close friends are who can help or support when facing problems. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komponen iklim sekolah yang berkontribusi pada SWB siswa SMP korban perundungan siber di Kota Bandung. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara online menggunakan Google Formulir dengan teknik convenience sampling. Partisipan penelitian yaitu siswa SMP yang pernah menjadi korban perundungan siber berusia 12 – 16 tahun (N = 537; 58.5% perempuan; 41.5% laki-laki). Persepsi iklim sekolah diukur menggunakan alat ukur iklim sekolah dari Children’s World, SWB diukur menggunakan Children’s Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 Items (CW-SWBS5), dan kategorisasi siswa yang menjadi korban perundungan siber diukur menggunakan alat ukur perundungan siber dari Patchin dan Hinduja. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear untuk menguji kontribusi komponen iklim sekolah terhadap SWB korban perundungan siber. Statistika deskriptif ANOVA digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan nilai rerata SWB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen iklim sekolah memberikan kontribusi terhadap SWB siswa SMP korban perundungan siber sebesar 17.5%. Terdapat komponen iklim sekolah yang memberikan kontribusi secara signifikan terhadap SWB korban perundungan siber, yaitu persepsi mengenai teman yang menolong ketika mendapatkan masalah (ꞵ = .152; p < .01), dan persepsi mengenai pertengkaran di kelas (ꞵ = -.146; p < .01). Sekolah perlu memastikan iklimnya bersifat kondusif agar terhindar dari kekerasan antar siswa, serta guru perlu memperhatikan hubungan antar siswa agar diketahui siapa teman terdekat mereka yang dapat memberikan bantuan ataupun dukungan ketika menghadapi permasalahan.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to investigate the protective factors of cyber-bullying on high school students in Bandung City. It is done by testing the indicators of subjective well-being (SWB) (perceptions of family, friends' and school climate) as independent variables on cyber-bullying (the dependent variable). The research samples are collected through convenience sampling technique. The participants are high school students living in Bandung City, ranging from 15 to 18 years old (N = 515; 58.1% female and 41.9% male). The indicators of SWB is measured through a measuring instrument from Children's Worlds, while cyber-bullying is measured through a measuring instrument from Patchin and Hinduja. The mean of SWB score is measured with the Children's Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 items version (CW-SWBS 5). The data are analyzed with linear regression so as to examine the contribution of socio-demographic variables and the indicators of SWB as the protection factors against cyber-bullying. Descriptive statistic with ANOVA is also performed so as to test the significance of the difference in the mean of SWB. The results show that the indicators on the family and friends' relationships are able to protect high school students (teenagers) from being the victims of cyber-bullying. Those indicators are having a good time with family at home (β = -.182; p < .01), parents who are willing to listen and pay attention to their children (β = -.132; p < .05), as well as get along with friends (β = -.158; p < .05). The indicators of socio-demographic show that women have a greater chance of being the victims of cyber-bullying (β = -.108; p < .05). Furtheormore, the mean score of SWB from the students (M= 67.60; SD = 20.98) is lower than the normal mean score of SWB that is based on the criteria of Cummins' homoestatic theory. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi faktor protektif perundungan siber pada siswa SMA di Kota Bandung dengan menguji indikator subjective well-being (SWB) sebagai variabel bebas (persepsi terhadap relasi dalam keluarga, relasi dengan teman, dan iklim sekolah) terhadap perundungan siber sebagai variabel terikat. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa SMA di Kota Bandung berusia 15-18 tahun (N = 515; 58.1% perempuan dan 41.9% laki-laki). Indikator SWB diukur menggunakan alat ukur persepsi siswa terhadap relasi dalam keluarga, relasi dengan teman, dan iklim sekolah dari Children’s Worlds. Perundungan siber diukur menggunakan alat ukur korban perundungan siber dari Patchin dan Hinduja. Nilai rerata skor SWB diukur menggunakan the Children’s Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale versi 5 item (CW-SWBS 5). Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier untuk menguji kontribusi variabel sosiodemografis dan indikator SWB sebagai faktor proteksi terhadap perundungan siber. Statistika deskriptif menggunakan ANOVA dilakukan untuk menguji signifikansi perbedaan rerata SWB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator pada relasi dengan keluarga dan relasi dengan teman memberikan kontribusi dalam memproteksi remaja dari kemungkinan menjadi korban perundungan siber. Indikator tersebut adalah memiliki waktu yang menyenangkan dengan orang di rumah (β = -.182; p < .01), orang tua mendengarkan serta memperhatikan anak (β = -.132; p < .05), serta akur dengan teman (β = -.158; p < .05). Indikator sosiodemografis menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki peluang yang lebih besar untuk menjadi korban perundungan siber (β = -.108; p < .05). Siswa memperlihatkan skor rerata SWB (M= 67.60; SD = 20.98) lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai rata-rata normal SWB berdasarkan kriteria teori homoestatis Cummins.

Abstract

Abstract. Having genetic influences and living in the same environment leads parents generally to believe that they have an important influence on their children's lives, so parents may expect associations that will make children resemble their parents in beliefs, attitudes, routines, and their values. Over time, during adolescence the values ​​and attitudes that are understood and practiced by adolescents become increasingly different from the values ​​and attitudes of their parents due to influences from the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between the SWB of parents and their children. Data collection was carried out online using Google Forms and offline using a questionnaire using the cluster random sampling technique. The sample used in this study were 342 students and one of their parents (father/mother). The participants in this study were junior high school students in Bandung City grades 7, 8, and 9 (55.8% female and 44.2% male). SWB in parents and children was measured using the Personal Well-Being Index (PWI) nine items and Overall Life Satisfaction (OLS) one item. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis to determine the relationship between the SWB of parents and their children. The compare means statistical test was used to test the differences in SWB between parents and their children based on each life satisfaction domain. The results showed that the parents' SWB was higher with an average of (M = 81.62) compared to their children's (M = 79.59) and there was a relationship between the SWB of parents and their children but the relationship was weak. Abstrak. Adanya pengaruh genetik dan tinggal di lingkungan yang sama membuat orang tua umumnya percaya bahwa mereka memiliki pengaruh penting bagi kehidupan anak-anak mereka, sehingga orang tua mungkin mengharapkan adanya keterkaitan yang akan membuat anak menyerupai orang tua dalam hal kepercayaan, sikap, rutinitas, dan nilai-nilai mereka. Seiring berjalannya waktu, pada masa remaja nilai-nilai dan sikap-sikap yang dipahami dan dilakukan oleh remaja menjadi semakin berbeda dengan nilai-nilai dan sikap-sikap pada orang tuanya karena adanya pengaruh dari lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara SWB orang tua dan anaknya. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring menggunakan Google Form dan luring menggunakan kuesioner menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 342 siswa beserta salah satu orang tuanya (bapak/ibu). Partisipan penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMP di Kota Bandung kelas 7, 8, dan 9 (perempuan 55.8% dan laki-laki 44.2%). SWB pada orang tua dan anaknya diukur menggunakan Personal Well-Being Indeks (PWI) sembilan item dan Overall Life Satisfaction (OLS) satu item. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson untuk mengetahui hubungan antara SWB orang tua dan anaknya. Uji statistik compare means digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan SWB pada orang tua dan anaknya berdasarkan setiap domain kepuasan hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SWB orang tua lebih tinggi dengan rata-rata sebesar (M = 81.62) dibandingkan dengan anaknya sebesar (M = 79.59) dan terdapat hubungan antara SWB orang tua dan anaknya tetapi hubungan tersebut lemah.

Abstract

Abstract. School satisfaction contributes to adolescent life satisfaction, especially given the importance of the school environment and the amount of time students spend at school. To measure adolescents' school satisfaction and life satisfaction, the most important thing is what happens during their daily life at school. The purpose of this study was to find out how satisfaction with school and SWB of junior high school students in Bandung City was post-COVID-19 and wanted to find out what was the relationship between school satisfaction and SWB in junior high school students in Bandung City after COVID-19. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. This study used measurement tools from Children's World, namely School Satisfaction, CW-SWBS5 and OLS. This study involved 965 students with a percentage of students namely 57.1% female students and 42.9% male students. The results show that male students (M = 82.7%) are more satisfied with their school than female students (M = 77.7%). Junior high school students in Bandung City overall had slightly above average satisfaction with school (M = 79.86), and their SWB was slightly above average (M = 75.16). Satisfaction as a school student is the factor that contributes most to students' overall life satisfaction, and satisfaction with what is learned at school is the factor that contributes most to their SWB. Abstrak. Kepuasan sekolah berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan hidup remaja, terutama mengingat pentingnya lingkungan sekolah dan jumlah waktu yang dihabiskan siswa di sekolah. Untuk mengukur kepuasan sekolah dan kepuasan hidup remaja, hal yang paling penting adalah apa yang terjadi selama kehidupan sehari-hari mereka di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana kepuasan terhadap sekolah dan SWB siswa SMP di Kota Bandung pasca COVID-19 serta ingin mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kepuasan sekolah dengan SWB pada siswa SMP di Kota Bandung pasca COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur dari Children’s World yaitu School Satisfaction, CW-SWBS5 dan OLS. Penelitian ini melibatkan 965 siswa dengan persentase siswa yaitu 57.1% siswa perempuan dan 42.9% siswa laki-laki. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa laki-laki (M = 82.7%) lebih puas dengan sekolah mereka daripada siswa perempuan (M= 77.7%). Siswa SMP di Kota Bandung secara keseluruhan memiliki kepuasan terhadap sekolah yang sedikit di atas rata-rata (M = 79.86), dan SWB mereka sedikit di atas rata-rata (M = 75.16). Kepuasan sebagai murid sekolah adalah faktor yang paling berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kehidupan siswa secara keseluruhan, dan kepuasan dengan apa yang dipelajari di sekolah adalah faktor yang paling berkontribusi terhadap SWB mereka.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to investigate the role of resilience as a mediator in the relationship between bullying and subjective well-being (SWB). The participants in this study (N = 350; 53.7% female and 46.3% male) were junior high school students in Bandung City from grades 7 (n = 165; 47.1%), 8 (n = 121; 34.6%), and 9 (n = 64; 18.3%) who experienced bullying. The method used in this study was cluster random sampling which resulted in 16 schools being selected. Bullying was measured using the bullying measuring instrument, SWB was measured using the Children's Worlds Subjective Well Being Scale Five Items (CW-SWBS5) measuring instrument, and resilience was measured using the Child and Youth Resilience Measurement Revised plus Spirituality and Religiosity (CYRM-R plus S & R). Data were analyzed using regression tests with the PROCESS macro to examine the role of resilience as a mediator between bullying and SWB. Descriptive statistics were conducted using ANOVA to test the significance of the mean value of SWB and resilience. The results indicate that resilience mediates the relationship between bullying and SWB with coefficients of -.0164 (95% CI = -.7120, -.0130), indicating that resilience serves as a factor that reduces the negative impact of bullying on SWB and contributes positively to SWB. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran resiliensi sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara perundungan dan subjective well-being (SWB). Partisipan pada penelitian ini (N = 350; 53.7% perempuan dan 46.3% laki-laki) adalah siswa SMP di Kota Bandung dari kelas 7 (n = 165; 47.1%), kelas 8 (n = 121; 34.6%), dan kelas 9 (n = 64; 18.3%) yang mengalami perundungan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi dengan menggunakan PROCESS macro untuk menguji peran resiliensi sebagai mediator antara perundungan dan SWB. Statistik deskriptif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA untuk menguji signifikansi pada nilai rata-rata SWB dan resiliensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi memediasi hubungan antara perundungan dan SWB dengan koefisien sebesar -.0164 (95% CI = -.7120, -.0130) yang artinya resiliensi berfungsi sebagai faktor yang mengurangi dampak negatif perundungan pada SWB dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap SWB.

Abstract. Child Friendly City (CFC) is a crucial component in building A WorldFit for Children, which is closely related to the subjective well-being of children (SWB). This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions about the neighborhood and junior high school students’s SWB in Bandung. Google Forms and Questionnaires were used to collect data online and offline through cluster random sampling technique. The participants are junior high school students in Bandung City aged 12-16 years (N= 956; 57.1% female; 42.9% male). Perceptions about the neighborhood were measured using a measurement tool from Children's Worlds, SWB was measured using the Children's Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 Items (CW-SWBS5) and Overall Life Satisfaction (OLS). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between perceptions about the neighborhood and the SWB of junior high school students in the city of Bandung. The comparable means statistical test is used to test the difference in the average value of perceptions about the surrounding environment and the average SWB. The results of this study show a positive relationship between environmental perceptions and SWB. Perceptions about the neighborhood contribute to the SWB of junior high school students in Bandung City by 38.7% in certain domains and 29.3%. overall. The component of perceptions about the neighborhood that contributes the most and significantly to student SWB is about people in their environment helping them when they have problems (B =.245; p<.000). To increase SWB for junior high school students in Bandung, the government, schools and parents can work together to create an environment that is safe, friendly and has adequate facilities for children. Abstrak. Kota Layak Anak (KLA) merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam membangun A WorldFit for Children yang berkaitan erat dengan subjective well-being anak (SWB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar dan SWB siswa SMP di Kota Bandung. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring dan luring menggunakan Google Form dan Kuesioner dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Kota Bandung berusia 12 – 16 tahun (N= 956; 57.1% perempuan; 42.9% laki-laki). Persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar diukur menggunakan alat ukur dari Children’s Worlds, SWB diukur menggunakan Children’s Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale 5 Items (CW-SWBS5) dan Overall Life Satisfaction (OLS). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar terhadap SWB siswa SMP di Kota Bandung. Uji statistik compare means digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan nilai rerata persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar dan SWB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi tentang lingkungan dan SWB. Persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar memberikan kontribusi terhadap SWB siswa SMP di Kota Bandung sebesar 38.7% pada domain tertentu dan 29.3%. secara keseluruhan. Komponen persepsi tentang lingkungan sekitar yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar dan signifikan terhadap SWB siswa, yaitu persepsi mengenai orang-orang di lingkungan mereka menolong mereka jika mereka memiliki masalah (B =.245; p<.000). Untuk meningkatkan SWB pada siswa SMP di Kota Bandung, pemerintah, sekolah, dan orang tua dapat bekerja sama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, ramah, dan memiliki fasilitas memadai untuk anak.
