Abstract

The regulations in Muhammadiyah universities are different from other universities. In terms of religious learning regulations, Muhammadiyah universities have AIK (Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan) religious learning, which other universities do not have in the regulations for implementing religious learning for non-Muslim students in There is no Metro Muhammadiyah University, but there is a rectorate policy regarding Al-Islam and Muhammadiyahan standards that stipulates that all students at Metro Muhammadiyah University are obliged to take part in learning the religion of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah so that there is compulsion on the part of non-Muslim students to take part in learning because this is a general compulsory course that must be taken. For the implementation of religious learning. This research aims to understand the regulations for implementing religious learning for non-Muslim students and the implementation of religious learning for non-Muslim students at Metro Muhammadiyah University, Lampung. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques for this research use interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis for this research is carried out by data reduction, data display, verification, and drawing conclusions. The research findings state that the regulations for religious learning for non-Muslim students at Metro Muhammadiyah University are in accordance with the university's policy regarding standards for implementing al-Islam and Muhammadiyah learning, which requires all teachers. Implementing religious learning for non-Muslim students at Muhammadiyah Metro University requires them to take mandatory religious learning courses, namely al-Islam and Muhammadiyah, for eight credits from semesters I to IV. Inclusivity in the implementation of religious learning regulations for non-Muslim students has not been fulfilled according to government regulations; regulations for religious learning for non-Muslim students at Metro Muhammadiyah University do not yet exist, so the policy that has been used as a reference is the joint policy of the relevant Metro Muhammadiyah University rectorate religious learning for non-Muslim students. Efforts made by the university to provide solutions to the implementation of religious learning for non-Muslim students at Metro Muhammadiyah University by creating regulations for religious learning for non-Muslim students.

Abstract

The learning process demands teaching materials that align with competency standards and are relevant to students' needs. Modules, as a form of printed media, play a strategic role because they contain a complete learning unit with supporting components, enabling students to learn independently with minimal teacher guidance. This study aims to answer two main questions: 1) how is the implementation of a comic-based teaching module developed for eighth-grade Hajj fiqh learning for eighth-grade students at MTs Muhammadiyah Metro? And 2) what are the final results of this module development. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research instruments used were an expert validation sheet to assess the module's feasibility, as well as student and teacher response questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative methods to provide an overview of the implementation and final results of the comic-based teaching module development for eighth-grade Hajj fiqh learning. The results indicate that the implementation of the comic-based teaching module development for eighth-grade Hajj fiqh learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Metro followed the development procedures, involving expert validation and practicality testing. This module received excellent ratings across various aspects, including 89% validation from material experts, 89% validation from design experts, 93% validation from media experts, and 96% validation from language experts, all of which fall into the "very strong" category. Furthermore, the practicality test results showed that teachers gave it an 85% rating and students an 82% rating, both also in the "very strong" category. Thus, the comic-based teaching module developed is deemed feasible, practical, and effective for use in Hajj jurisprudence (fiqh) learning. The final product is a comic-based teaching module for Hajj jurisprudence learning designed to facilitate a more engaging, interactive, and easily understood learning process for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teachers’ social competence on strengthening students’ religious moderation at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Metro, Lampung. The background of this research is the crucial role of teachers in instilling values of tolerance, mutual respect, and the ability to live harmoniously in a plural society, amidst challenges such as fanaticism, narrow religious understanding, and difficulties in accepting differences. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 70 students as the population. Data were collected through questionnaires tested for validity and reliability, supported by documentation and interviews. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 22. The results show that teachers’ social competence falls into the good category, while students’ religious moderation is relatively high. The hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with the regression equation Y = 13.781 + 0.681X, indicating that every increase in teachers’ social competence contributes to an increase in students’ religious moderation. Therefore, it can be concluded that teachers’ social competence has a positive and significant effect on strengthening students’ religious moderation in madrasah.

Abstract

Almost all school institutions hold excellent programs, one of which is the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program, but a comprehensive evaluation has never been carried out, therefore the purpose of this study is to evaluate the tahfidz class program at SMPIT Wahdatul Ummah Metro city, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product). This research is type of qualitative research. Data collection technique the data collection technique of this research is using interview, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing. The results showed that the evaluation of the Qur'an tahfidz class program at SMPIT Wahdatul Ummah, showed that the context of the tahfidz class program was included in the school curriculum. In addition, the purpose of the tahfidz class program is to provide capital for students to have memorized the Qur'an and to improve the quality of reading (tahsin tajwid) of students. The input of the Qur'an tahfidz class program is the existence of other activities that support the tahfidz program so that it can take place well, namely joint muroja'ah activities held before the teaching and learning process begins, recitation together in the mosque, and Arabic language class activities. Process of the tahfidz class program is the implementation of the tahfidz program in class, running according to the schedule determined by the school, which is 8 hours in one week, and 2 hours / once a meeting. and the obstacle is the lack of learning time for tahfidz hours in class, as well as the lack of tahfidz tutors in class. The product of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz class program is the competency standards of students who graduate from the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program, namely not all students can achieve the targets set by the school. The conclusion is that the tahfidz class program at SMPIT Wahdatul Ummah is good to be continued and developed again, with a note of improvement in the process or implementation of the tahfidz class program.
