Abstract

In soil testing using sondir in the C83 Suites building construction project in Cirebon City, the lowest soil carrying capacity was found at the S-1 point. In this study, an analysis of the carrying capacity of a bore pile with a diameter of 40 centimeters with a depth of 12 meters was carried out to obtain a comparison of calculation results using three methods, namely the LCPC (Bustamante Gianeselli) method, the Schmertmann Nottingham method, and the Direct method. The results of the calculation using the LCPC method (Bustamante Gianselli) obtained Qu= 232,001 tons, Qa = 92,800 tons. Then using the Schmertmann Nottingham method, Qu= 301,764 tons was obtained, Qa = 120,705 tons. Meanwhile, using the Direct method, it was obtained at the S-1 point with Qu= 115,158 tons, Qa = 46,063 tons.

Abstract

The Brebes Regional General Hospital which is located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman No.181 Pangembon, Brebes District, Brebes Regency is one of the hospitals managed by the Brebes Regency government with class B type. There is a problem with parking at the Brebes Regional Hospital, namely there is no balance between the number of parking spaces available with the number of visitor vehicles coming due to limited parking space. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of knowing the characteristics of parking. The data taken in this research is primary data in the form of vehicle volume and secondary data in the form of the number of parking spaces at Brebes Regional Hospital. Based on survey and analysis results, it is known that the highest parking volume was 769 motorbikes and 191 cars. The highest parking accumulation was 461 motorbikes and 70 cars. The highest parking index value is 131.7% for motorbikes and 116.7% for cars. The highest average parking duration was for motorbikes, 54.1 minutes and cars, 54.1 minutes. The highest turnover rate for motorbikes is 0.24 vehicles/lot/hour and cars are 0.05 vehicles/lot/hour. The largest dynamic capacity for motorbikes is 3261 units and cars are 574 units.

Abstract

The Sunut Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Jragung River which connects Semarang Regency and Demak Regency. The initial planning for the Sunut Bridge used a prestressed concrete structure with a total length of the main bridge of 60 meters. This bridge is divided into 4 parts. From the author's assessment, the use of prestressed concrete structures with many pillars is considered to cause design waste and give the impression of stiffness to the bridge. Apart from that, seeing that the condition of the river during floods often brings flooding, thereby reducing the effective linear waterway of the river, a bridge construction was re-planned with minimal pillars using an arch structure. In this planning, the Sunut Bridge was re-planned to use a steel arch structure type A Half Through Arch Bridge. From the planning results, the vechile floor plat tickness was 23 cm. The longitudinal girder profile used is WF 800x300x16x30 and the cross girder profile WF 900x300x16x28. The next stage of calculating the primary and secondary structures is carried out by calculating the working loads which refer to SNI 1725:2016 and RSNI T-02-2005 regulations to obtain a box prifile for the main structure of the arch bridge.

Abstract

The soil condition in Sigar Bencah, Semarang City, has characteristics that are less supportive of construction, such as cracks, low bearing capacity, and instability. This study aims to evaluate the effects of soil stabilization using lime and cement on soil compaction and unconfined compressive strength (UCS). The variations of lime and cement content used are 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%, with lime and cement ratios of 30:70, 50:50, and 70:30. The tests conducted include physical property analysis, standard compaction, and UCS testing. The results of the study show a significant improvement in both UCS and optimal soil compaction after stabilization treatment. The optimal additive combination for improving soil quality was found at a 10% additive content with a 50:50 lime-to-cement ratio, which produced a UCS value of 14.2 kg/cm². This indicates that the use of lime and cement as stabilization materials can enhance soil strength and stability, making it suitable for use in construction in areas with poor soil conditions. This stabilization can also serve as a solution to increase soil bearing capacity, reduce potential damage, and improve soil performance in various construction applications.
