Abstract

Merdeka curriculum provides an opportunity for every teacher to express their creativity and ideas in curriculum development efforts, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at the elementary school level. One of them is an adequate response to the existence of multiculturalism in social life which is sunatullah. This study aimed to discover the implementation pattern of multiculturalism-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum development in the Merdeka curriculum and its relationship with the teacher's role as a curriculum developer, especially at the elementary school level. This research is based on a literature study using a descriptive-qualitative method aimed at collecting data through documentation techniques, both in printed and electronic form. The data analysis was carried out in three stages: editing, organizing, finding, and conducting further analysis. The results of the study show that a multicultural-based curriculum development pattern can be carried out in the Islamic Religious Education teaching module in the Merdeka curriculum, especially in the sections: learning objectives, Pancasila student profiles, apperception, and triggering questions, learning methods and activities, assessment instruments, reflection, and enrichment techniques. Multicultural values ​​that can be included as content in curriculum development include tolerance, equality, justice, and democracy (freedom). The development is carried out by incorporating the value of multiculturalism, which includes: equality, justice, democracy (freedom), and tolerance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan taruna dalam menghadapi Praktik Laut (Prala) pada konteks pendidikan vokasi kemaritiman. Prala merupakan tahap krusial dalam pendidikan kemaritiman yang memerlukan kesiapan mental dan kompetensi yang memadai. Self-efficacy, atau keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan dirinya, dihipotesiskan memiliki peran signifikan dalam menentukan tingkat kesiapan taruna. Objek penelitian ini adalah 200 taruna semester 4 yang akan melaksanakan Prala dari empat kampus maritim di Semarang. Pemilihan taruna semester 4 didasarkan pada pertimbangan bahwa mereka berada pada tahap kritis persiapan menjelang pelaksanaan PRALA. Keempat kampus yang menjadi lokasi penelitian dipilih untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang kondisi pendidikan vokasi kemaritiman di Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, focus group discussion (FGD), dan observasi partisipatif. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan taruna terpilih untuk menggali persepsi mereka tentang self-efficacy dan kesiapan menghadapi Prala. FGD dilaksanakan untuk memperoleh pemahaman kolektif tentang tantangan dan harapan taruna terkait Prala. Observasi partisipatif dilakukan untuk mengamati perilaku dan interaksi taruna dalam konteks persiapan Prala. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis tematik, di mana transkrip wawancara dan FGD serta catatan observasi dikoding dan dikelompokkan ke dalam tema-tema utama. Triangulasi data dilakukan untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan yang kompleks antara self-efficacy dan kesiapan taruna menghadapi Prala. Temuan utama mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi cenderung berhubungan dengan kesiapan yang lebih baik, namun faktor-faktor kontekstual seperti dukungan institusi dan pengalaman praktik sebelumnya juga memainkan peran penting. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan utama yang dihadapi taruna dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk Prala, serta strategi coping yang mereka gunakan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan program intervensi yang holistik untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy taruna sebagai bagian dari persiapan Prala. Rekomendasi meliputi penyusunan program mentoring, pelatihan manajemen stres, dan peningkatan exposure terhadap lingkungan kerja maritim sebelum Prala. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti perlunya pendekatan yang lebih personal dalam mempersiapkan taruna, mengingat variasi individual dalam tingkat self-efficacy dan kebutuhan persiapan.

Abstract

As international trade activities are increased, there are more regulative practices which might be barriers to trade. One of such hindrances is exchange rate volatility that affects trade activities both directly and indirectly. Exchange rate volatility of currencies can affect the trade engagements and as well as the trade balance of a country. One of the implications of the study is that the impacts of monetary policy changes on trade activities can be noticed significantly in the long-term. While impacts on export levels are usually immediate, import levels are changed in long-run. The research analyzes the correlation between inflation and devaluation and clearly states their impacts on trade balance. The case study about devaluation of the currency of Azerbaijan elaborates the impacts of currency volatility on exports which is illustrated and analyzed in this research. Moreover, inflation and devaluation correlations and their impacts on import level of a country are studied through correlation and multiple regression analyses based on the data exported from OECD and World Bank. The results conclude that exchange rate volatility significantly impacts the trade balance in terms of imports and exports. Given the results, exchange rate is a non-trade barrier and affects foreign trade.

Abstract

One of the uniqueness and challenges of seafarers in working on a ship is transferring from one ship to another, where each ship is different so that the risks or dangers of each ship also vary. The purpose of this research is to find out the initial steps for seafarers who have just joined work, so that they are familiar with their new ship (safety equipment, equipment and work procedures, etc.) as well as the potential dangers that may occur including alarms, tasks and actions in dealing with these distress situations. The research uses a literature review method, with references to national and international regulations in the maritime sector, maritime publications, journals, books and other relevant sources. The results of the research, Shipboard Safety Familiarization is an obligation that must be given to crew members who have just joined a ship, even though by standard Seafarers before working on a ship already have knowledge and skills related to safety equipment, firefighting, medical, effective communication, and distress conditions. (from alarms, fastest refugee routes, to actions that must be implemented). Familiarization is provided by the Captain or appointed Officer and the Crew they replace regarding safety equipment and work equipment, Duties and Responsibilities according to position and when there is a Danger situation, rules and decisions regarding Work Safety and Security of the Company that operates the ship with a gradual duration of time

This study explores the intricate gender dynamics within the Lengger Banyumasan dance, a traditional performance art from Banyumas, Central Java. Known for its captivating fusion of masculine and feminine elements, the dance embodies fluid gender roles through movements, costumes, and interactions between performers. This research investigates how both male and female performers navigate and express gender identities, challenging conventional norms and highlighting the dance’s role in reflecting and shaping societal values. The findings contribute to understanding gender performativity within traditional arts, emphasizing Lengger Banyumasan's continued cultural relevance amidst modern influences.

Abstract

It is essential for the prospective teacher students of Islamic education to have a high faith level because it will influence their behavior. In addition, it positively impacts their social life. The level of a person’s faith will have a different impact; hence, it needs to be measured. The faith concepts and their measurement have been widely developed recently. One of them is a faith concept, which is built by two dimensions or variables, i.e., belief and behavior or feeling. Both variables can fluctuate between very high, high, moderate, low, or very low, each influencing faith. Students who study in an Islamic Religious Education study program and at the same time attend Islamic boarding school are predicted to have high faith. This paper aims to describe the level of student faith and find a suitable multinomial logistic regression model through analysis of its method. Data was collected using questionnaires filled out by 52 students. The results showed that the percentage of students’ faith levels with very high level was 5.8%, high was 36.5%, moderate was 38.5%, low was 13.5%, and very low was 5.8%. Meanwhile, the model accuracy was 94.2%.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter santri, termasuk menanamkan nilai cinta tanah air. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pembelajaran kitab At-Tahliyah wa Targhib fi Tarbiyah wa Tahdzib karya Syeikh Sayyid Muhammad dan Wasoya al-Aba li al-Abna karya Syeikh Muhammad Syakir di Pondok Pesantren Aswaja An-Nahdliyah Panembahan Banteran Sumbang Banyumas dapat berkontribusi dalam internalisasi nilai kebangsaan di kalangan santri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kitab kuning ini mampu menanamkan nilai nasionalisme melalui metode pengajaran berbasis keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan diskusi yang dikontekstualisasikan dengan sejarah bangsa. Selain itu, kitab-kitab ini mengajarkan konsep disiplin, tanggung jawab, serta loyalitas terhadap negara yang selaras dengan ajaran Islam. Dengan demikian, pesantren dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran kitab kuning sebagai media pendidikan karakter kebangsaan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan metode bandongan dalam pembelajaran sejarah Islam di Pondok Pesantren Aswaja An-Nahdliyah Panembahan Banteran Sumbang Banyumas. Metode bandongan, sebagai pendekatan tradisional pesantren, dianalisis dari segi efektivitasnya dalam menyampaikan materi sejarah Islam, membentuk pemahaman historis, dan menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman kepada santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, melibatkan kyai dan santri sebagai informan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bandongan efektif dalam mentransmisikan pengetahuan sejarah dan nilai-nilai spiritual, dengan peran sentral kyai sebagai penafsir dan penghubung konteks historis dengan kehidupan kontemporer. Namun, tantangan seperti sifat satu arah dan kurangnya partisipasi aktif santri menunjukkan perlunya adaptasi metode agar relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern. Abstract

Makalah ini membahas secara komprehensif dinamika sejarah Islam di Spanyol (Al-Andalus) dari tahun 711 hingga 1492 M dengan pendekatan historis-kritis, khususnya dalam tiga aspek utama: politik, intelektual, dan sosial kemasyarakatan. Secara politik, kekuasaan Islam di Andalusia menunjukkan pola transformasi yang kompleks, dimulai dari penaklukan oleh Thariq bin Ziyad, pendirian Emirat dan Kekhalifahan Córdoba, masa fragmentasi Muluk al-Thawa’if, hingga intervensi Dinasti Almoravid dan Almohad. Di ranah intelektual, Andalusia menjadi pusat perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang memainkan peran vital dalam proses transfer ilmu dari dunia Islam ke Eropa melalui penerjemahan karya-karya ilmuwan Muslim ke dalam bahasa Latin. Tokoh-tokoh seperti Ibn Rushd, Al-Zahrawi, dan Ibnu Khaldun memberi kontribusi besar dalam bidang filsafat, kedokteran, dan ilmu sosial. Aspek sosial ditandai oleh praktik convivencia, yaitu koeksistensi antara Muslim, Yahudi, dan Kristen dalam masyarakat multikultural yang relatif harmonis, meskipun tidak lepas dari ketegangan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa peradaban Islam di Andalusia bukan hanya tonggak penting dalam sejarah Islam dan Eropa, tetapi juga warisan peradaban yang menekankan toleransi, pluralisme, dan kolaborasi intelektual yang relevan hingga saat ini

Abstract

This article explores the complex fabric of pre-Islamic Arab society, focusing on its sociopolitical structure, cultural identity, belief systems, and educational practices. Known as the Jahiliyyah period, this era was marked by tribal loyalty, oral poetry, and the absence of centralized governance. Social life revolved around kinship and clan-based honor, often resulting in inter-tribal conflicts and deeply rooted patriarchy. Despite the perception of ignorance, Arab society possessed rich oral traditions, with poetry, genealogy, and storytelling serving as primary vehicles of knowledge transmission. Formal education was largely nonexistent; literacy was confined to a select few in urban centers such as Mecca and Yaman. Most educational experiences were informal and utilitarian, shaped by the desert environment and nomadic lifestyle. This study examines how the lack of organized educational institutions reflected and reinforced social hierarchies and tribal values. Moreover, it reveals how cultural and environmental factors influenced both the intellectual landscape and the character of the Arabian people, laying the foundation for the profound transformation brought by Islam.
