Abstract

Abstract: The electronic Student Worksheet (LKPD) is an independent teaching material that utilizes the technology and communication needed by students to study the coordination system material for class XI SMA. The purpose of this study was to produce valid electronic Student Worksheets (LKPD) on class XI SMA coordination system material. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Campus, FKIP, Riau University and SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets and response questionnaires. Data collection is done by validating the electronic module. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the validation results of electronic Student Worksheets (LKPD) on the design or appearance aspect obtained an average value of 3.68 with a very valid category, content/material aspects received an average value of 3.87 with a very valid category, Guided-based aspects Discovery gets an average score of 3.92 with a very valid average, and the language feasibility aspect gets an average score of 3.30 with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the electronic Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Guided Discovery on the coordination system material for class XI SMA that has been developed is included in the very valid category with an average validity value of 3.30, so that the electronic Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on Guided Discovery that has been developed can be used in Biology learning.Key Words: Electronic LKPD, Guided Discovery, Coordination System

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of self-efficacy with cognitive learning outcomes in science for class VII students of SMP N 42 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to achieve this goal, quantitative research was carried out in the form of correlation research and descriptive research design. The variables observed in this study were self-efficacy (self-confidence) and student science cognitive learning outcomes which were carried out in November 2021-January 2022. The instruments used were validation sheets, self-efficacy questionnaires and test instruments. The data source comes from primary data, namely the results of closed questionnaire data from self-efficacy and the results of students' cognitive tests in the form of objective questions on natural science material classification of living things and open interviews. The results of the study showed that there was a significant correlation between self-efficacy (X) and cognitive learning outcomes in science (Y) in the moderate category in science learning class VII SMP Negeri 42 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2021/2022 academic year. self-efficacy affects science cognitive learning outcomes by 28.39% and the remaining 71.61% is influenced by other factors not determined in this study. So based on the results of this study it would be very good if students were able to increase self-efficacy to support improving their learning outcomesKey Words: Self Efficacy; Science Cognitive Learning Outcomes; Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: In limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) the teacher dominates the class, the students are less involved in the teaching and learning process so that students are passive in learning. With learning methods that are different from before the co-19 pandemic, this has an impact on the lack of understanding of the material experienced by students. This has an impact on students' learning interest. This study aims to find out how the condition of limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) and interest in studying biology in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam. The research was conducted in class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam in October-November 2022. The research instrument was carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) and interviews. This study uses validity, reliability and descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the limited face-to-face learning conditions (PTMT) for class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam were good with an average of 71.99% and the results of interest in learning biology class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam during the limited face-to-face learning period ( PTMT) pandemic covid-19 is enough with an average of 65.99%Key Word: Limited face-to-face learning (PTMT), interest in learning, Biology Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Interactive learning multimedia is a learning media that contains a combination of text, images, video, sound, animation and simulation synergistically with the help of technological devices to achieve learning goals, where users can actively interact with the media. This study aims to produce interactive learning multimedia on valid high school class XI human coordination system material. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Campus, FKIP, Riau University and SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is ADDIE which consists of the Analysis, Design and Development stages. The data collection instrument used was a validation sheet. The validation results based on aspects of material structure, learning design, language, audio-visual display and practical and efficient are 3.90, 3.89, 3.78, 3.77 and 3.65 respectively. The aspect that obtained the highest validation results was the material structure aspect with an average of 3.90 in a very valid category. Overall, interactive learning multimedia on human coordination system material for class XI SMA obtained a validation result of 3.80 and was included in the very valid category. Thus the interactive learning multimedia that has been developed is suitable for use as a learning medium in the human coordination system material for class XI SMA.Key Words: Interactive Learning Multimedia, Human Coordination System

Abstract

In order to achieve this goal, quantitative research was carried out in the form of correlation research and descriptive research design. The variables observed in this study were self-directed learning and students' science cognitive learning outcomes which were carried out in November 2021 - January 2022. The instruments used were validation sheets, self-directed learning questionnaires and test instruments. The data sources come from primary data, namely the results of closed questionnaire data from self-directed learning and the results of students' cognitive tests in the form of objective questions on the natural sciences material of motion systems in living things and open interviews. The results of the study showed that there was a significant correlation between self-directed learning (X) and science cognitive learning outcomes (Y) in the moderate category in science learning class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2021/2022 academic year. Self-directed learning affects cognitive science learning outcomes by 17.93% and the remaining 82.1% is influenced by other factors not determined in this study. So based on the results of this study it would be very good if students were able to improve self-directed learning to support improving their learning outcomes.Key Words: Self Directed Learning; Science Cognitive Learning Outcomes; Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the validity of pop scrapbook learning media based on animated cartoon characters Spongebob Squarepants and The Lion King on the material kingdom animalia developed for class X SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development of pop scrapbook media was validated by validators, namely the Biology Education Lecturer at the FKIP University of Riau, the biology teacher at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru and the biology teacher at SMAS Kalam Kudus Pekanbaru. The research was carried out from November 2022. The data collection instrument that was carried out was a validation sheet. In terms of the content aspect, the average score was 3.50 with a very valid category, from the linguistic aspect, the average score was 3.50 with a very valid category, from the presentation aspect, a score of 3.38 was obtained with a very valid category, and from the aspect of overall appearance, an average score of 3.50 with a very valid category. The average validation result for pop scrapbook media based on animated cartoon characters Spongebob Squarepants and The Lion King for class X high school animal kingdom material received an average score of 3.47 in a very valid category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that pop scrapbook media based on animated cartoon characters Spongebob Squarepants and The Lion King on animal kingdom material for class X SMA provides very valid criteria and is worth testing at a later stage.Key Word: Pop scrapbook, Animated cartoon, Animal kingdom

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. When this research starts in April-May 2023. This research is a type of qualitative research. The qualitative research method is a method in which the researcher is the key instrument and examines the condition of natural objects. The average result for teacher planning is 100% in the very good category. The results of the implementation of learning for teachers with a score of 100% are very good categories while for students with a score of 81% the category is very good. The results of the assessment on the teacher got a score of 93% in the very good category while students with a score of 90% were in the very good category. Based on the results of research on the analysis of the implementation of the independent curriculum in learning biology material for class X environmental change at senior high school 8 Pekanbaru, it can be concluded that it is classified as very good.Key Word: Independent Curriculum, Biology Learning, Environmental Influence

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-booklet media from the results of the study of the diversity of macroscopic fungal species and their roles in the Teluk Merbau Village Oil Palm Plantation for high school biology learning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The determination of the observation location used the purposive sampling method, namely making 6 line transect lines in locations that represent the age of oil palm trees and fungal habitats. The e-booklet development method uses the ADDIE model until the third step (Development). The developed e-booklet was validated by 2 expert lecturers. The results of the study showed that there were 22 species of macroscopic fungi in the Teluk Merbau Village Oil Palm Plantation area consisting of 21 species from the basidiomycota division and 1 species from the ascomycota division. The results of the validation of the development of the e-booklet on the diversity of macroscopic fungal species and their roles in the Teluk Merbau Village Oil Palm Plantation based on aspects of content, language and appearance obtained an average score of 3.89 which is included in the very valid category, this indicates that the developed e-booklet is in accordance with the criteria for good learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with critical thinking skills on the topic of the human excretory system for Grade XI senior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adapting the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study was conducted up to the development stage. The trial subjects included two expert validators, 10 biology education students, two biology teachers, and 30 Grade XI students from SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The instruments used consisted of a validation sheet, student response questionnaire (students and prospective teachers), and teacher response questionnaire. The validation results showed that the E-LKPD was categorized as "very valid", with an average score of 3.51. The first limited trial (with university students) indicated that the E-LKPD was "very good", with an average score of 3.59. The second limited trial (with teachers and students) yielded average scores of 3.80 and 3.79, respectively, indicating "very good" responses. The practicality test resulted in an average score of 3.72, categorized as "very good/practical", while the overall quality assessment yielded a score of 3.61, also classified as "very good". The development of this E-LKPD demonstrates that the integration of the PBL model with critical thinking indicators effectively facilitates students in identifying problems, analyzing information, and constructing solutions based on the concept of the human excretory system. Therefore, the developed E-LKPD is deemed suitable for use as a supplementary teaching material in biology learning that emphasizes the enhancement of critical thinking skills.
