Abstract

This study examines the influence of Leadership, Training, and Job Satisfaction on employee motivation within Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kediri. The research sample consists of 40 permanent employees from the company's office. Data was collected through surveys and questionnaires, and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, t-tests, and an F-test. The results of the regression analysis demonstrate that Leadership, Training, and Job Satisfaction have a significant positive impact on employee motivation. Individually, each factor was found to significantly influence employee motivation. The coefficient of determination (R2) indicates that these variables explain 66.9% of the variance in work motivation. The findings underscore the importance of effective leadership, well-designed training programs, and fostering job satisfaction in enhancing employee motivation. By focusing on these factors, organizations can create a motivating work environment and improve overall employee engagement and performance. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing insights specific to the context of a drinking water company. The findings offer practical implications for leaders and managers in PDAM Kediri, enabling them to enhance employee motivation and contribute to the company's success. Future research should consider additional variables and broaden the scope to gain a comprehensive understanding of employee motivation in this industry.

Abstract

Employee recruitment and selection is a key process in human resource management that plays an important role in the success of an organisation. This process involves the search, evaluation and selection of individuals who have the qualifications and potential that match the needs of the organisation. One of the significant changes that has transformed the employee recruitment and selection paradigm is the advent of advanced technologies such as ChatGPT. This research aims to analyse the role of ChatGPT in the transformation of the employee recruitment and selection process. The method used is a qualitative literature review that focuses on an in-depth understanding of the topic in the time span from 2018 to 2023. The main objective of this method is to identify, analyse, and synthesise relevant scientific literature that has been published in various journals, conference papers, and other academic sources accessible through Google Scholar. The study results show that the use of ChatGPT in the transformation of employee recruitment and selection processes is a significant step towards higher efficiency and effectiveness in human resource management. However, we must remain cautious in the face of emerging impacts and challenges.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan optimalisasi pembelajaran gitar pemula melalui metode drill dan mendeskriksikan dampak metode drill dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru TKpada materi teori dasar dan praktik bermain gitar pemula.Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru TK anggota IGTKI-PGRI Kabupaten Kediri yang berjumlah 26 orang sebagai perwakilan 26 Kecamatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain PTK model Kurt Lewin (Wijaya K. dan Dedi D., 2012: 20). Dikatakan penelitian ini berhasil jika mampu melakukan perpindahan antar kunci dan mampu memainkan pola rhythmyang diperlihatkan melalui kriteria minimal 75%.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam PTK ini adalah observasi dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penilaian proses pembelajaran ini mencakup 2 (dua) aspek keterampilan, antara lain: perpindahan antar kunci (jari tangan kiri) dan pola rhythm (jari tangan kanan). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, dapat diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar perpindahan kunci sebanyak 3 orang (11,5%) di siklus I, sebanyak 16 orang (61,5%) di siklus II, dan prosentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 80,8% pada siklus III. Dan pola rhythmsebanyak 5 orang (19,2%) di siklus I dan dengan prosentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 77% pada pelaksanaan di siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan penggunaan metode drill pada pembelajaran gitar pemula pada kelompok ansembel IGTKI-PGRI Kabupaten Kediri tahun 2017, maka hipotesis tindakan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) merupakan salah satu bentuk perilaku prososial, perilaku sosial yang positif, konstruktif dan bermakna. Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) mengubah suasana organisasi formal menjadi lingkungan yang santai dan kooperatif untuk mengurangi ketegangan antar karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 250 karyawan BRI yang tersebar di Indonesia. Jumlah populasi adalah populasi tak terhingga, kemudian besarnya sampel ditentukan berdasarkan teknik analisis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling, dengan kriteria memilih responden yang merupakan karyawan BRI riil yang yang telah bekerja lebih dari 6 bulan. Dan teknik analisis menggunakan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Kemudian spiritualitas tempat kerja mampu memoderasi spiritualitas terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading and listening concentration level on students’ ability to recall vocabulary in EFL online classroom based on their learning styles. The research subjects were 142 junior high school students of grade 8 in Kediri Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia that consisted of 45 boys and 97 girls. The participants were asked to read the English vocabulary presented on the power point on the screen and listen to the teacher's explanation regarding the meaning of the words through Google Meet. The participants were divided based on the results of the learning styles survey into three groups, i.e. the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic group. The questionnaire regarding concentration was used to determine the level of concentration in reading and listening during online language learning. The results showed that there are significant differences in the ability to remember English vocabulary between the three groups of learning styles with different level of reading and listening concentration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine employee engagement-based employee retention strategies. This research approach collects data through literature studies, which involve reading literature from various sources including books, reports, articles, and journals using qualitative and deductive approaches. The findings in this study are that there are several employee engagement-based employee retention strategies, including empowering leadership, open and transparent communication, career development, recognition and appreciation, work-life balance, positive social and cultural involvement, and involvement in decision making. These strategies are not only able to reduce employee turnover, but also improve overall company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training and development, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on employee performance. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and questionnaires to 52 respondents with census techniques. The research method uses causal research. The results of this study are training and development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
