Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of videos using the sparkol videoscribe application which is appropriate to help the mathematics learning process in statistics material. This research method uses development research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) but the researchers only use three stages, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The instruments used in this study were interview guidelines and validation sheets consisting of material expert validation sheets, media expert validation and linguist validation. Data analysis using descriptive statistics in the form of calculating the average score. Based on the results of the study, an assessment of the videoscribe media from the material expert assessment obtained a valid category with a percentage of 91.87%. The media expert's assessment got a valid category with a percentage of 93.35%. The assessment of linguists is in the valid category with a percentage of 93.74%. From these results, the developed videoscribe media is in the valid category so that the videoscribe learning media can be used in the classroom.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen belajar yang sangat diperlukan saat melaksanakan pembelajaran, demi menunjang suatu tujuan pemebelajaran. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran seharusnya menjadi bagian yang sangat diperhatikan oleh seorang pendidik sebagai fasilitator kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian Mengembangkan media pembelajaran board game ular tangga pada materi metamorphosis kupu-kupu tema 3 subtema 2 di kelas IV yang valid. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan peneliti yaitu model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development Implementasi, dan Evaluation). Penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti yang membatasi tahap model ADDIE sampai tahap ke-3 yaitu development karena sekarang masih masa pandemic covid-19. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah dokumentasi dan lembar validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil validasi oleh media memperoleh nilai sebesar 97,5% dengan kategori sangat valid sedangkan validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 95,29% dengan kategori sangat valid. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran board game valid untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran materi metamorfosis kupu-kupu tema 3 subtema 2 kelas IV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa kelas V di SDN 012 Kecamatan Pasir Penyu Kabupaten Indagiri Hulu melalui pembentukan karakter religious, disiplin dan peduli lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan langkah melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perencanaan strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa kelas V dilihat dari perencanaan nya sudah baik, mulai dari kegaiatan di dalam maupun diluar kelas, sarana dan prasarana yang cukup memadai untuk mendukung terlaksana nya strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui pembentukan karakter religius, disiplin dan peduli lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada hasil pengamatan pada proses pembelajaran yang menemukan bahwa masih rendahnya kreativitas mahasiswa dalam merancang media pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa menggunakan model project based learning dalam pembuatan media ipa berbentuk pop up book. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang mana data yang didapat berupa persentase untuk kemudian dideskripsikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa yang ditinjau dari aktivitas dan produk yang dihasilkan. Dari segi aktivitas pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk keseluruhan aspek kreativitas adalah 70% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83%, sedangkan dari segi produk pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 72% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 82%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam pembuatan media IPA berbentuk pop up book dengan menggunakan model project based learning.

Abstract

Uncontrolled use of mobile phones will negatively impact children's development, especially character development. Children who only focus on cellphones, such as playing games and social media, will neglect their responsibilities and discipline. This study aimed to analyze the impact of using mobile phones on the development of children's character at elementary school age, especially in the fifth grade of elementary school, using descriptive qualitative methods. The methods used to collect data are observation, interview, and documentation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. In this study, eight parents and two classroom teachers became sources of information. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis with triangulation techniques. The study results are that excessive use of cell phones impacts children. There are positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that students can look for various sources of information and can communicate remotely with their friends. Meanwhile, the negative impacts can disrupt children's development, such as discipline, responsibility, and socializing inability. It can be concluded that excessive use of mobile phones can disrupt the development of children's character at elementary school age, especially in the fifth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important factors in human life. With education, a person can improve intelligence and skills and develop their potential in humans. The principal's role is very influential in improving the quality of education. Principals must be able to foster and direct teachers to work together and professionally to improve the quality of students To improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving education quality management at the elementary school level. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were one principal and two fourth and fifth-grade teachers. Then, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Analyzing the data is done by collecting information through interviews, data reduction, and data presentation. The study results found that the principal has carried out the role of the principal following his role as Manager, Leader, Supervisor, Administrator, Educator, Innovator, and Motivator. The principal has also made efforts to improve the quality of students and is trying to realize the school's vision and mission, realizing active, effective, and efficient learning, as well as producing good learning characteristics and students' moral values.

Abstract

Inclusive schools often experience difficulties and obstacles in providing services to inclusive students. This study analyzes the forms and factors influencing teacher readiness to handle inclusive students in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. The implementation of this research starts from the design, research, implementation, data analysis and making research reports. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects and objects of this research were the principal, 2 teachers, one first grade student, and one second grade student. The results of interviews and observations clearly show that teachers are not ready to handle inclusive students due to the lack of knowledge and concern of teachers for inclusive students. Lack of class teacher acceptance of inclusive students includes internal factors in the form of physical, mental and emotional conditions, motivation to improve experience and maturity. The negative attitude factors of teachers towards inclusive students include internal in the form of emotional conditions and social competence. Teachers' lack of knowledge and understanding about dealing with inclusive students includes external factors in the form of skills, knowledge, intelligence, and professional competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan LKS pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan muatan materi bangun datar kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Tahapan model ADDIE untuk mengembangkan LKS ini dimodifikasi menjadi empat tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, impementasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu: metode observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 ahli desain, 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli bahasa, 2 guru dan 6 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan LKS dari aspek desain memperoleh persentase 87,5% dengan kualifikasi valid, pada aspek materi pembelajaran matematika memperoleh persentase 83,25% dengan kualifikasi valid dan pada aspek bahasa memperoleh persentase 85,57% dengan kualifikasi valid. Selanjutnya diperoleh persentase rata-rata akhir pengujian validasi LKS sebesar 85,44 % dalam kategori valid. Kemudian analisis dari angket respon guru kelas IV terhadap LKS memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 92,93% dengan kategori “Sangat Menarik” sedangkan analisis dari angket respon peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 93,33% dengan kategori “Sangat Menarik”.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the positive and significant correlation between mathematics self-efficacy and motivation of elementary school students. This type of research is quantitative using the correlation method. The population of this research was all fifth grade students of Elementary School in Cluster I of Marpoyan Damai District in Pekanbaru, which totaled 705 students. The research sample consisted of 183 students who were selected using cluster techniques. Data collection was carried out using a mathematics self-efficacy questionnaire and a motivation questionnaire and documentation, and the hypothesis was tested using the product moment correlation test and t test. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between mathematics self-efficacy and motivation of fifth grade elementary school students, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.353 with a fairly strong relationship category, and there was a significant correlation between mathematics self-efficacy and motivation of fifth grade elementary school students, as seen from the tcount = 5.078, greater than ttable = 1.653, at a significance of 5%. The contribution made mathematics self-efficacy to motivation is equal to 12.5%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems regarding discipline and student learning outcomes at SDN 161 Pekanbaru which are still relatively low and have not been carried out properly. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline on student learning outcomes at SDN 161 Pekanbaru. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design. The population of this study is class V, totaling 72 students. While the sample of this study used a saturated sampling technique, the research sample amounted to 72 students from class V. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sample, and documentation. Testing the instrument using validity and reliability. Data collection techniques are descriptive analysis and prerequisite tests, namely normality, homogeneity, hypothesis testing in the form of simple linear regression using the conditions Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the research data processing, there is a significant influence between discipline on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 161 Pekanbaru with the proof that the t-test results are greater than t-table (t-count > t-table) or (4,432>1.997). This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.
