Abstract

The affective aspects must be owned by students in a lesson, where the affective aspects will have a relationship with the cognitive aspects of a student, therefore this study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between students 'mathematical dispositions and students' mathematics learning outcomes. Using a mixed method and a sequential explanatory plan, the research was undertaken by first collecting quantitative data and then continuing to collect qualitative data. Where, the sample count in this study was 413 students from junior secondary schools 18 in Jambi City, Indonesia who used a total sampling technique. Data were then analyzed with the help of SPSS 21 application to find descriptive statistics in the form of mean, min, max, and category as well as inferential statistics using Pearson Product Moment. The results obtained in this study dominate both the mathematical disposition of pupils and the learning outcomes of pupils in mathematics. This was reinforced by the existence of a relationship between mathematical disposition and student learning outcomes in mathematics which is indicated by the obtained sig less than 0.05. This means that the mathematical disposition of students which includes the affective aspect of students has a relationship with the cognitive aspect, by having a good affective aspect, the cognitive aspects of the student are also good.

Abstract

One of the problems in improving the competence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for mathematics teachers is that the teacher has to leave his / her teaching activities to participate in various improving competence events. This study aims to develop an ICT house portal that will be managed by the Mathematics Subject Teacher Forum in Indonesia or known as MGMP that allows teachers to interact with fellow teacher communities to improve ICT competence without having to leave their teaching activities at school. Furthermore, the researchers also conducted a usability test of the developed portal. The application development model used is the ADDIE model which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Meanwhile, application usability testing was carried out by distributing usability questionnaires to 30 respondents consisting of postgraduate students and lecturers of mathematics education. The results showed that the ADDIE model can be used to design and create the ICT house portal called RumahTIK where the procedures in the development section include making applications, testing by experts, testing content filling, testing the use of clinical features. Based on the results of the usability questionnaire processing, the percentage of usability was 81% which was classified as very feasible. Although this research was not implemented for real teacher groups, the ICT house portal is very suitable for use by the MGMP group. In the future, it is necessary to implement this portal in various MGMP groups so that recommendations can be obtained to improve teachers' ICT competence in mathematics.

Abstract

This study discussed fuzzy multi-objective linear programming (FMOLP) and its application. This research was conducted in Rumah Batik Mentari Jambi, which produces five batik motifs typical of the Jambi. In this research, the tolerance for additional raw material capacity is included in the model. This research aims to find out the number of tolerances needed, the maximum number of batik needed to be produced, and the minimum production time so that the producer can earn the maximum profit. The decision variables in FMOLP are the number of pieces of batik measuring in 2m2, which means the decision variables must be an integer. Therefore, after obtaining the optimal solution from FMOLP, then proceed with the branch and bound method to obtain the integer solution. The result of this research is that the addition of raw materials needed to earn optimal solutions is as much as 50% of the tolerance assumed in the model. Thus, owner can earn the optimal profit of Rp. 5,675,800.00/week by producing as many as 67 pieces of batik with the design of angso duo, 18 pieces with the design of gentala, and 50 pieces with the design of batang hari, and the minimum production time is 270 hours/week.
