Abstract

The affective aspects must be owned by students in a lesson, where the affective aspects will have a relationship with the cognitive aspects of a student, therefore this study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between students 'mathematical dispositions and students' mathematics learning outcomes. Using a mixed method and a sequential explanatory plan, the research was undertaken by first collecting quantitative data and then continuing to collect qualitative data. Where, the sample count in this study was 413 students from junior secondary schools 18 in Jambi City, Indonesia who used a total sampling technique. Data were then analyzed with the help of SPSS 21 application to find descriptive statistics in the form of mean, min, max, and category as well as inferential statistics using Pearson Product Moment. The results obtained in this study dominate both the mathematical disposition of pupils and the learning outcomes of pupils in mathematics. This was reinforced by the existence of a relationship between mathematical disposition and student learning outcomes in mathematics which is indicated by the obtained sig less than 0.05. This means that the mathematical disposition of students which includes the affective aspect of students has a relationship with the cognitive aspect, by having a good affective aspect, the cognitive aspects of the student are also good.

Abstract

Abstract: In 21st century learning students is required to be more active in learning than teachers, therefore this study aims to determine whether there is an influence between computer-based learning media tutorials and students' spatial abilities in mathematics. Using quantitative descriptive. Where, the number of samples in this study were 240 students from SMP 11 Jambi City who used purposive sampling technique. Data were then analyzed with the help of the SPSS 21 application to find descriptive statistics in the form of mean, min, max, and category as well as inferential statistics using simple regression. The results obtained in this study are dominant in both the spatial abilities of students in mathematics. With this reinforced by the existence of a relationship and influence between computer-based learning media tutorials with students' spatial abilities in mathematics as seen from the sig value below 0.025, which is 0.016 and has a contribution of 72.6%.

Abstract

This study tested a sample of 70 students with variables of interest, cooperation skills and responses in the math game of congklak from two schools, namely SD IT Aulia and SDN 112/I Perumnas. The objectives of the study: (1) to determine the comparison between interest, cooperative character and student responses in the traditional game of congklak in mathematics. (2) to determine the relationship of interest, cooperation with students' responses to the traditional game of congklak in mathematics. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a comparative type. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire on interests and observation sheets, namely the character of cooperation and student responses to the traditional game of congklak in mathematics. The results of the T-test obtained based on the table can be found that there is a relationship between interest, cooperative character and student responses in the traditional game of Congklak. In the table-based test, it can be said that there is a relationship between interest, cooperative character and student responses to the traditional game of congklak in mathematics

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk membantu guru SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi dalam merancang dan memahami tentang pembelajaran yang inovatif serta penerapannya dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran matematika. Secara tidak langsung kegiatan ini juga dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ini adalah dengan metode ekspositori dan demonstrasi dan dilaksanakan selama 3 (dua) hari di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu observasi dan pemantapan persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif, hari kedua membahas tentang konsep dan contoh-contoh pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif, dan terakhir membimbing peserta dalam merancang dan mensimulasi pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan membahasnya secara bersama dan diakhiri dengan pemberian angket respon guru. Dengan kegiatan ini diperoleh respon guru menunjukkan skor sebesar 4,58 dengan kriteria baik sekali. Selain itu meningkatkan keterampilan dan kecakapan guru-guru SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi dalam merancang pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif. sehingga dapat disimpulkan, dengan kegiatan ini, guru menambah pengetahuan dalam merancang pembelajaran dan memanfaatkan ICT serta peningkatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan lesson study.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran tematik menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi materi, media, pembelajaran, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa, tes hasil belajar siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh, (1) hasil angket ahli materi 80% (baik), hasil angket ahli media 81,3% (sangat baik), hasil angket tanggapan perorangan yang teridiri dari siswa dan guru 86,22% (sangat baik), dan hasil angket tanggapan untuk kelompok besar yang terdiri dari siswa 86,3% (2) hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop adalah 84,84% nilai siswa mencapai nilai KKM 70, serta (3) respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop yang digunakan mencapai 89,86% “sangat baik”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian yaitu media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan melalui aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop di kelas IV SDN 55/1 Sridadi sangat efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar guna memenuhi kebutuhan kurikulum 2013 untuk kemajuan pendidikan bangsa. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a sheet of student activities with a Scientific approach to flat-woke material in class III SDN No. 34/1 Muara Bulian Lotus which has good validity according to experts and to determine the effectiveness of using student activity sheets on student learning outcomes. This type of research is development research. The instruments used in this study were expert assessment questionnaires for evaluation of teaching materials and assessment questionnaires for the design of student activity sheets with the Scientific approach, teacher and student responses questionnaire and student learning outcomes tests. From the results of the analysis carried out on the final test obtained 81.48% of the students reached KKM, the results of observation of student activities in the learning process reached 74.6%. This means that the student activity sheet made is in accordance with the purpose of the effectiveness of using the student activity sheet. So that this student worksheet can be used by elementary math teachers especially in flat learning.

Abstract

Self-efficacy has a great influence on learning outcomes and academic achievement. However, many students have low self-efficacy in mathematics. For this reason, a learning process is needed that can help improve students' self-efficacy in mathematics. This study aimed to determine the effect of the inverted classroom model with information search strategies through moodle-based e-lematika media on students' self-efficacy in mathematics. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design method. The population of this research is class XI students of SMK N 1 Jambi City and two sample classes, namely 31 students of class XI TKJ 1 and 31 students of class XI TKJ 5, respectively, the experimental class and control class. The self-efficacy questionnaire data analysis for the two classes was carried out using the independent sample t-test, which showed the value of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. So, there is a significant effect on the application of the flipped classroom model with information search strategies through moodle-based e-lematika media on students' self-efficacy.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan bahan ajar pendidikan matematika I dengan pendekatan kontekstual, mengetahui penilaian ahli terhadap kelayakan penggunaan bahan ajar untuk digunakan dalam perkuliahan, serta mengetahui penilaian dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap hasil pengembangan. Bahan ajar pendidikan matematika I dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Hasil penilaian tenaga ahli pada proses validasi isi dan desain bahan ajar yang dihasilkan adalah sangat baik. Semua deskriptor yang diberikan pada angket tertutup dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata persentase 91,2%. Penilaian dua orang dosen pengampu mata kuliah terhadap hasil pengembangan bahan ajar adalah sangat baik dengan rata-rata persentase 95,3%, Sedangkan penilaian dari delapan orang mahasiswa PGSD, tujuh orang menilai dengan kategori sangat baik, persentase 89%-81%. Hanya satu orang yang memberikan penilaian kategori baik persentase 75%. Hasil validasi ahli isi dan desain pembelajaran serta hasil uji coba perorangan dan kelompok kecil terhadap pengembangan draft bahan ajar ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar hasil pengembangan sudah sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Abstract

Pembelajaran Outdoor adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang didesain di luar kelas dengan menggunakan konteks real life dan dapat dilakukan dengan banyak cara serta sifatnya lebih fleksibel tergantung pada konteks dan tujuan pembelajaran (Broda, 2007; Walberg, 1995).Hal ini membutuhkan sebuah role, sekenario, batasan maupun pemilihan konteks outdoorpada dunia nyata, dan juga diperlukan penyesuian terhadap konteks, kontendan kompetensi sesuai kebutuhan serta tujuan pembelajaran. Penyesuaian sekenario/model pembelajaran berupa integrasi dari kegiatan pembelajaran outdoor dan pendekatan modellingmathematics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilakn desain (sintaks dan komponen) pembelajaran outdoor berbasis modellingmathematics. Motode penelitian untuk mendesain model terdiri dari tiga tahap Theoriticalstudy, explorasi, dan design.Hasil penelitian menunjukanprototype model competibel untuk diterapkan dan sintak dari model pembelajaran outdoorlearning-modellingmathematics terdiri dari tahapan (1) Orientasi siswa terhadap Masalah konteks outdoor (2) Membimbing siswa membuat real model masalah dan collect data (3) Membimbing siswa menentukan rencana penyelesaian masalah berdasarkan model matematik yang dibuat (4) Melaksanakan eksperiment berdasarkan modelmathematics (5) Melakukan presentasi hasil (6) Melakukan refleksi hasil berdasarkan konteks outdoor. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the achievement of mathematical modeling competencies of students with field-independent and field-dependent cognitive styles. The type of research used was a mixed method involving 65 SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi students. The data was obtained through the GETF cognitive style test, a mathematical modeling problem-solving test, and interviews. The results showed that students with the FI cognitive style had reached level 6 in modeling competence, namely, performing the entire process of mathematical modeling to interpret and validate solutions against the context of a given problem situation. Meanwhile, FD students up to level 4 can translate real problems into mathematical problems (mathematical models) but cannot use them correctly in mathematics, even though the quality of the models built by FD students is not appropriate to solve problems. Keywords: cognitive psychology; cognitive style; dependent fields; independent fields; mathematical modeling  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pencapaian kompetensi mathematical modeling siswa dengan gaya kognitif field Independent dan Field dependent. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan mix metode yang melibatkan 65 siswa SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi. Data didaptkan melalui tes gaya kognitif GETFlembar, tes pemecahan maslaah pemodelan matematika dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sisiwa dengan gaya kognitif FI telah mampu mencapai level 6 pada kompetensi pemodelan yaitu; melakukan seluruh proses pemodelan matematika sampai menafsirkan dan memvalidasi solusi terhadap konteks situasi masalah yang diberikan. Sedangkan siswa FD hanya sampai level 4 mampu menerjemahkan masalah nyata ke dalam masalah matematis (model matemtika) tetapi tidak dapat menggunakannya dengan tepat dalam dunia matematika, walaupun secara kualitas model yang dibangun siswa FD belum tepat untuk menyelesaikan masalah.Kata Kunci: field dependent; field independent; gaya kognitif; kognitif psikologi; pemodelan matematika   DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v10i4.pp405-418
