Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the results of the errors that students experience in the process of solving problems of comparative story problems. The researchers applies a qualitative descriptive methods when conducting his research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-A of SMP Negeri 8 Cimahi, a total of 24 students. The data collection technique used has three stages: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, (c) drawing conclusions and using help tables in order to determine the percentage level of error. The instrument used is in the form of a description of 5 test questions. The results of student work were analyzed based on the Newman procedure. Based on the results of the study, the highest percentage of errors was found in the average process skill error, which was 33.3%, while the lowest error was found in the average percentage of reading errors, which was 5.8%.

Abstract

AbstrakLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK membutuhkan suatu keahlian, kemampuan atau kecakapan untuk mengaplikasikan setiap kompetensi termasuk kecakapan matematis dalam dunia kerja. Kecakapan matematis dinilai sangat penting dan dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dirinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hasil analisis kesalahan siswa SMK dalam menyelesaikan soal kecakapan matematis pada materi bangun ruang. Subyek yang digunakan adalah 5 orang siswa kelas XII di SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi. Bentuk pengambilan data yaitu pemberian soal tes dengan indikator berbeda pada setiap butir soal. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah studi pendahuluan. Dari rekapitulasi perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, didapat bahwa persentase kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan siswa yakni 80 % pada indikator adaptive reasoning (penalaran adaptif), dimana siswa masih melakukan kesalahan dilihat dari aspek konseptual sebesar 30%, aspek prosedural juga 30% serta aspek teknik 20%. Sedangkan persentase kesalahan yang paling sedikit dilakukan siswa yakni 20 % pada indikator procedural fluency (kelancaran prosedural), dimana siswa tidak melakukan kesalahan dilihat dari aspek konseptual, tetapi pada aspek prosedural melakukan kesalahan 10% serta aspek teknik juga 10%.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan, Kecakapan Matematis, Bangun Ruang. Error Analysis of Vocational High School Students in Resolving Mathematical Proficiency Problems on Three-Dimensional Geometry AbstractThe purpose of this study was analyzing the answers of Vocational students on a mathematical proficiency test in three-dimensional geometry. The subjects of this study were 12th-grade students in SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi. The data obtained from giving a test with indicators of students' mathematical proficiency that is different in each item question. This is a preliminary study. Based on the recapitulation of the results in the analysis and calculations that have been made, it was found that the most percentage of errors made by students is 80% on adaptive reasoning indicators, where students still make mistakes seen from conceptual aspects by 30%, procedural aspects also 30% and technical aspects 20%. While the least percentage of errors is 20% on procedural fluency indicators, where students do not make mistakes on conceptual aspects, but on procedural aspects and technical aspects make mistakes of 10%.Keyword: Error Analysis, Mathematical Proficiency, Three-dimensional Geometry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa SMP dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning. subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP 10 Padalarang dan sebagai sampel di pilih dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017-2018. kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan kepercayaan diri kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa kelas kontrol.Kata Kunci : kemampuan komunikasi matematis, kepercayaan diri, contextual teaching and learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematik dan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan pendekatan problem based learning dengan menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP 9 Cimahi dan sebagai sampel dipilih dua kelas untuk dijadikan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan koneksi matematik dan skala motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematik dan motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan problem based learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasaKata kunci : Koneksi Matematik, Motivasi Belajar, Pendekatan Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan workshop yaitu melakukan pendampingan pembelajaran Inovatif melalui Lesson Study kepada guru-guru di MA Cahaya Harapan di Wilayah Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Tujuannya untuk memberikan wawasan kepada guru-guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran inovatif. Kegiatan ini bisa dijadikan sebuah luaran dalam bentuk artikel yang dapat bermanfaat bagi para pembaca. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab dan praktek dengan menggunakan Lesson Study.Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan di lapangan diantaranya yaitu : 1). Penyuluhan mengenai Lesson Study dan pembentukan tim , 2). Melakukan Lesson Study yang terdiri atas 3 tahapan yaitu : a) Merencanakan pembelajaran (Plan), b). Melakukan pembelajaran dan observasi (Do), c). Melakukan refleksi (See). Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif di lapangan diantaranya; guru-guru mulai memahami pembelajaran lesson study, guru-guru terbantu untuk menyusun perangkat pembelajaran secara tersusun.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan pada guru dalam menulis artikel berbantuan software Mendeley. Hal ini dinilai sangat penting bagi guru dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme kinerja guru dalam menulis artikel. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu selain memberikan wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penulisan karya ilmiah terhadap guru, kegiatan ini bisa dijadikan sebuah luaran dalam bentuk artikel yang bermanfaat bagi pembaca. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab dan latihan dengan menggunakan software Mendeley. Rencana pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah diantaranya : Menetapkan target peserta kegiatan yaitu guru Sekolah Menengah di SMA Negeri 1 Pangalengan, Melakukan tahap perizinan kepada pemerintah setempat dan seluruh stakeholders, Melakukan sosialisasi pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan kepada para guru, kegiatan sosialisasi melalui penyebaran undangan dibantu oleh tim mahasiswa yang tengah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat lokasi yang sama, Melaksanakan kegiatan dengan penyajian materi, pendampingan guru pelatihan dan diskusi serta tanya jawab, mendokumentasikan seluruh kegiatan pelatihan dan mengumpulkan data untuk penyusunan laporan, Melakukan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan dan menyelesaikan laporan akhir kegiatan serta melakukan publikasi hasil pengabdian masyarakat.Kata Kunci : : Software Mendeley, Karya Ilmiah ABSTRACTThis service activity was to provide mentoring and training teachers in writing articles assisted Mendeley software. This was considered very important for teachers in improving professionalism performance in writing articles. The aim to be achieved was in addition to providing insight into the knowledge and skills of writing scientific papers, this activity can be used as an output in the form of articles that are useful for readers. The method used in this service of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers and exercises using Mendeley software. The plan for the implementation of community service activities is carried out through several steps including Determining the target participants of the activities, namely teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pangalengan, Conducting licensing stages to all stakeholders, Conducting socialization of the implementation of training activities to teachers, socialization activities through the distribution of invitations assisted by a team of students who are currently participating in community service activities in the same location, Carrying out activities by presenting material, assisting teacher training and discussion and asking questions, documenting all training activities and collecting data for preparing reports, evaluating training activities and completing final reports of activities and publicizing the results of community service.Keywords: Mendeley Software, article

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Pembangunan 1 Baleendah students of class VII researchers using the discovery learning model aimed at improving students' learning outcomes in set materials. The type of research used class action research conducted in the II cycle method used is descriptive qualitative. The material used in the form of , in this class action research researcher only focuses on student learning outcomes because the lack of learning outcomes affects the learning process therefore researchers use II, aiming to see results before and after being given video or ICT assistance with discovery learning. In cycle I class action research students gain small grades and understand the material due to too long online learning makes students become lazy in learning, cycle II experiencing an increase in learning outcomes by using the help of video or ICT students eagerly back in learning. Thus, the study of class actions conducted in Junior High School Development Works 1 Baleendah class VII students using the discovery learning learning model is divided into II cycles with the help of providing video in the form of set summary material resulting in changes in student learning outcomes for the better, therefore the provision of video or ict affects learning outcomes.

Abstract

The ability to solve problems is one of the abilities that students need to have in learning mathematics. Especially solving stories or non-routine questions, students really need to have the ability to solve these problems. Therefore, this study aims to determine and examine the ability to solve mathematical problems in solving one-variable linear equation (PLSV) material stories in junior high school students conducted in one of the public junior high schools in the city of Cimahi. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 15 grade VII junior high school students and the data obtained by testing 4 written tests in the form of stories related to everyday life which refers to the steps of problem solving skills, namely finding mathematics from data, making mathematical models from problems. story, planning a settlement strategy, checking the correctness of the answer. From the results of research that has been done that the problem-solving ability of students is still relatively low because students are not accustomed to working on the form of story questions which causes students to find it difficult to determine the steps to be able to solve problems, formulate story questions into mathematical models.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many problems that arise as a result of the corona 19 pandemic which requires learning to be done online. One of the problems that arise from online learning is the lack of effective use of online learning so that it can affect student learning outcomes including mathematical communication skills. The aims of this research are to find out and examine: 1) the implementation of online learning by using Google Meet to improve mathematical communication skills for Mathematics Education Students at IKIP Siliwangi. 2) the effectiveness of using Google Meet in online learning to improve mathematical communication skills for Education Students IKIP Siliwangi Mathematics. The methodology used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data collection used in this research is by means of observation, pretest and posttest mathematical communication skills, and documentation. The result of this research is that the implementation of the use of Google Meet in online learning can improve students' mathematical communication skills. In addition, the effectiveness of using Google Meet to improve students' mathematical communication skills is very effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the ability of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students ' mathematical connections in one school in Greenacres. The subject is grade VIII that add up to 34 people. Whereas the object of the research was the ability of mathematical connections students of class VIII. Data retrieval in this study using tests, i.e. tests essay material systems of Linear equations in two variables. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis. Data analysis of student learning math test results obtained that the ability of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students ' mathematical connections subjected to one school in Cimahi still belongs to the very low percentage of 53.93%.
