Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Lembar Aktivitas Mahasiswa topik Turunan berdasarkan teori APOS yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design research tipe development study. Tahap development (pengembangan), yaitu preliminary dan formative evaluation (self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Kelas 1C Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas PGRI Palembang semester ganjil tahun akademik 2014/2015 sebanyak 38 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui walkthrough (expert reviews), dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa Lembar Aktivitas Mahasiswa yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika.Kata kunci: turunan, teori APOS, development study

Abstract

The role of statistics is wide and crucial in daily life, making statistics important. Many students have difficulty understanding statistics. This study aims to determine students' statistical reasoning about inference statistics, which is limited to the subject matter of the testing hypotheses about two-sample hypotheses testing. This study used descriptive research method. The subjects were 25 students of third-year Mathematics Education Departement at Universitas PGRI Palembang in the academic year 2018/2019. Data were collected through tests and interviews. Data were analyzed through descriptive quantitative. The results of data analysis showed that 32% of students had level 1 statistical reasoning (the lowest level), 20% were at level 2, 28% at level 3, 12% at level 4 and 8% at level 5 (highest level). Based on the result, it can conclude that students' statistical reasoning ability in learning statistical method is not satisfactory, students are still very lacking in reasoning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan multi representasi pada materi nilai mutlak yang valid dan praktis untuk peserta didik kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X sebanyak 6 orang peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil, dan satu kelas pada uji coba kelompok besar di SMA Patra Mandiri 01 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 89.6. Kepraktisan video pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil angket respon peserta didik pada saat uji coba kelompok besar yang melibatkan 20 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Patra Mandiri Palembang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket respon, video pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat praktis. Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of mathematical communication of students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul through Reflective Learning. The method of this research is quasi-experiment with pretest and postes group design. Population in this research that is all class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul, taken sample of two classes that class X MIA A many as 25 students as experiment class that get reflective learning (PR) and class X MIA C as much 27 students as control class get conventional learning (PK). The instrument used in this study is a Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM) test in the form of essays that have been empirically validated. Data analysis using t test (Independent samples t test), by first test the normality and homogeneity. Based on the analysis of the data, the results obtained in this study that the improvement of mathematical communication skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul who get reflective learning better than those who get conventional learning. Keywords: Reflective Learning, Mathematical Communication Skill

Abstract

This research aims to describe the mathematical problem solving skills of junior high school students in relationship materials and functions with Polya strategy. The method used in research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 35 Palembang with a class XI.6 research sample of 30 people. The research subjects were taken by 6 students, who were grouped into three categories, namely high, medium and low who were taken 2 people each from each category.. The data collection techniques in this study are tests, interviews and documentation. The results of the data obtained are then analyzed using data reduction analysis techniques, data presentation and verification. So the results of the study show that: 1) students who have high category problem solving skills are able to carry out all stages of problem solving, 2) students who have problem solving skills category are able to carry out the problem solving stages of the problem, but at the stage of carrying out planning and problem solving students make mistakes in operation and are not able to perform the stage of planning the answer correctly, 3) students who have low category problem solving skills are only able to carry out one stage that is understanding the problem and not being able to carry out the stage of planning the solving strategy planning and troubleshooting and re-examining the answers obtained correctly.

Abstract

SSCS learning model in which this learning model involves students, so that students can be more active and think critically to solve, search for, infer results and expand knowledge in finding and solve problems in the problem. This study aims to determine the effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) Learning of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of SMP Negeri 28 Palembang. This research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII at SMPN 28 Palembang. Where the sample in this study was taken only two classes, class VIII 4 with 32 students for the experimental class and given treatment in the form of a Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) model, while class VIII 3 as many as 32 students as a control class and given conventional learning treatment. This research instrument consisted of tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using a t-test (independent sample t-test) Shows that a significant value (2-tailed) is obtained = 0.017. based on the criteria that sig = 0.017 ≤ 0.025 then H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there was an effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) learning on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students of SMPN 28 Palembang.

Abstract

Pada masa covid 19 ini setiap guru tentulah memerlukan suatu media pembelajaran untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajarannya. Penyampaian pembelajaran yang berkualitas dan menarik sangatlah diperlukan. Setiap guru dalam proses pembelajarannya telah membuat Rencana Proses Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dilengkapi dengan media pembelajaran. Sebagian besar guru telah membuat media pembelajaran yang salah satu media pembelajarannya adalah aplikasi Power Point (PPT). Aplikasi ini dapat menampilkan teks, gambar, suara, dan video. Setelah dilakukan wawancara kepada guru, diperoleh informasi tentang beberapa permasalahan yang ada yaitu para guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran seperti PPT masih sederhana, belum membuat media menjadi interaktif, media PPT yang dibuat belum menampilkan gambar, suara, dan video. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan PPT Animasi masih harus dikembangkan. Dari permasalahan yang diungkapkan oleh guru, dipilih permasalahan yang akan diselesaikan terlebih dahulu sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk mengenalkan kepada guru cara membuat PPT animasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa e-module menggunakan flipbook maker pada materi matriks untuk siswa SMA yang valid, praktis, dan mengetahui efek potensial e-module yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket dan tes. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengembangan e-module menggunakan flipbook maker pada materi matriks untuk siswa SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-module yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, dengan skor rata-rata 82,76. E-module dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan penilaian dari angket respon siswa dengan skor 83,52. Efek potensial e-module dilihat berdasarkan hasil tes belajar siswa yaitu dengan presentase sebesar 90%. Produk yang telah di hasilkan adalah e-module menggunakan flipbook maker pada materi matriks untuk siswa SMA layak digunakan pada pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aimed at determining whether there is influence of learning model Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) to the ability of mathematical representation of students of SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan. The ability of this mathematical representation includes 3 indicators of mathematical representation 1) in the form of diagrams, graphs, tables and drawings, 2) Mathematical equations or expressions and, 3) written words or texts. The method used in this research was posttest only control design model. The population in this study were the entire class VIII in SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan. The sample were taken in this research for experimental class was class VIII 2 was given approach of Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) and control class VIII 3 was given expository learning. Technique of collecting data in this research was written test. Data analysis technique used was T-test. This test refers to an indicator of the ability of a mathematical representation. Based on the calculation results obtained tcalcule = 5.836 and ttable = 1.998. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) model of mathematical representation of students of SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran reflektif berbantuan aplikasi Moodle. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain one group pretest-postest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 orang mahasiswa kelas III.B Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas PGRI Palembang Tahun Akademik 2017/2018. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan awal dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran reflektif berbantuan aplikasi Moodle berada dalam kategori sedang.  Kata kunci : aplikasi Moodle, kemampuan penalaran matematis, pembelajaran reflektif This research purpose to investigate the enhancement of students’ mathematical reasoning ability through implementation of reflective learning with Moodle application. This research used quasi experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was 33 students of class III.B Mathematics Education of Universitas PGRI Palembang Academic Year 2017/2018. Data were collected through test of initial mathematical ability and test of mathematical reasoning. Data in this study were analyze through descriptive quantitative. The result shown that the enhancement of students’ mathematical reasoning who received Reflective Learning model with Moodle application was in the medium category..                                                                                                            Keywords : moodle application, reflective learning, students’ mathematical reasoning
