Abstract

The development of the shoe industry offers great potential to support national economic growth in Indonesia, including in the Tambakrejo Village area, Sidoarjo, which is one of the largest producers of local shoe production in Indonesia. However, the development of shoe products in Tambakrejo Village is known to face many challenges. So, this research aims to find out what challenges are faced in developing local shoe industry MSMEs in Tambakrejo Village, Sidoarjo. Also, what are the results of the implementation of business management training and marketing strategies to develop local shoe industry MSMEs in Tambakrejo Village, Sidoarjo. This research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is carried out by combining active participation from the community or group that is the research subject in this research process. Data collection in this service is carried out in two ways, namely observation and interviews. The research results show that business management training and marketing strategies have a big impact in improving the quality of leather shoe products in Tambakrejo Village. The training provided helps craftsmen use digital marketing through e-commerce and social media to reach a wider market.

Abstract

In response to the surge of Hajj registrants in Indonesia, efficient and transparent management of Hajj funds has become imperative. This necessitates a more proactive role from the government to ensure adherence to both state regulations and Sharia principles when employing Wakalah contracts for efficient Hajj fund management. This study aims to clarify the legal framework surrounding Wakalah contracts to enable their more effective implementation and optimize Hajj fund management within both Sharia and state legal contexts. This research employs a juridical-normative method, where data is analyzed and interpreted systematically, logically, and critically, using a normative approach and drawing from relevant regulations, doctrines, legal principles, and other supplementary materials. The findings indicate that integrating Sharia principles into Wakalah contracts alongside a robust legal framework can maximize benefits for Hajj congregations and promote cost-effective fund management. Additionally, collaboration between Islamic banking institutions and Hajj regulators can facilitate process simplification and address existing challenges. Through its meticulous methodological approach, this research offers a deeper understanding of benefit ownership, Wakalah principles, and relevant legal and Sharia aspects. Its unique contribution lies in its focus on the value of benefit ownership, a comprehensive examination of legal and Sharia considerations, and the development of a practical framework for enhancing Hajj financial management in Indonesia.==============================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Optimalisasi Dana Haji di Indonesia: Peran Akad Wakalah. Dalam menghadapi lonjakan pendaftar haji di Indonesia, pengelolaan dana haji yang efektif dan transparan menjadi sangat penting. Hal ini menuntut pemerintah untuk lebih proaktif dalam memastikan penggunaan akad wakalah dalam pengelolaan dana haji sesuai dengan aturan agama dan negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuka cakrawala hukum syariah dan negara tentang implementasi akad wakalah yang lebih efektif sehingga pengelolaan dana haji dapat lebih optimal. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari sumber-sumber sekunder, seperti peraturan perundang-undangan, doktrin fikih, asas-asas hukum Islam, dan bahan pelengkap lain yang relevan. Menggunakan metode yuridis-normatif, data dianalisis dan ditafsirkan dengan pendekatan normatif dan disusun secara sistematis, logis, dan kritis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi prinsip syariah dalam kontrak wakalah, ditambah dengan kerangka hukum yang tepat, dapat memaksimalkan manfaat bagi jamaah haji dan mempromosikan pengelolaan yang efisien biaya. Hal ini karena wakalah dapat memberikan keleluasaan bagi nazir untuk mengelola dana haji secara profesional dan transparan. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara lembaga perbankan syariah dan regulator haji dapat mengatasi tantangan dalam hal regulasi, SDM, dan teknologi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kepemilikan manfaat, prinsip wakalah, dan aspek hukum dan syariah yang relevan melalui metode yang cermat. Kontribusi unik dari penelitian ini terletak pada fokusnya pada nilai kepemilikan manfaat, wakalah, dan penelusuran yang komprehensif terhadap aspek hukum dan syariah, sehingga menawarkan kerangka kerja praktis untuk meningkatkan manajemen keuangan haji di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pesantren kilat adalah metode pendidikan agama Islam yang intensif dan efektif dalam waktu yang singkat untuk meningkatkan keimanan serta wawasan keislaman para siswa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi pelaksanaan pesantren kilat di SD Negeri Plancungan dengan menitikberatkan pada peningkatan kualitas pengajaran, pembelajaran, dan pengelolaan kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan pendampingan dilakukan melalui kegiatan mahasiswa KKNT. Pendekatan partisipatif diterapkan dalam pendampingan ini, dengan melibatkan mahasiswa KKNT, para pengajar, dan siswa. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan meliputi perancangan program pengajaran, pelatihan bagi para pengajar, dan evaluasi berkala pada siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang baik dalam berbagai aspek, termasuk pemahaman ilmu agama, praktik ibadah, dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Pendampingan ini memberikan dampak positif untuk turut meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama di sekolah melalui pesantren kilat, sekaligus menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan nilai-nilai keislaman bagi para siswa.

Abstract

Microenterprises (MSEs) in Gandu Village have great economic potential, but still face challenges in improving competitiveness and sustainable growth. The main problems faced by UM actors include limitations in preparing business strategies, inefficient production management, and low utilization of digital technology in marketing. One of the businesses facing these challenges is Bu Nor's Krecek Krupuk UM. The purpose of this service activity is to increase partners' capacity in formulating effective business strategies, increasing production efficiency, utilizing digital technology for marketing, and improving financial management to encourage sustainable business growth. The method used is a participatory approach through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, which actively involves partners in the entire process. The results of this activity show an increase in the understanding and skills of business actors in developing business strategies, applying digital marketing techniques, and improving production management. Post-training evaluation shows that the strategies that have been developed are able to help businesses increase production capacity and competitiveness in the market. With this training and mentoring, UM Krecek Krupuk Bu Nor is expected to develop sustainably, improve the quality and quantity of its products, expand its marketing reach, and increase its income.

Abstract

Indonesia’s Law No. 4/2023 requires Islamic banking units (UUS) to spin off into independent Islamic commercial banks (BUS), raising Shariah compliance concerns over ongoing contracts. This study examines three key contracts—musyārakah, muḍārabah, and ijārah—using qualitative analysis of laws, fatwas, and institutional documents. It identifies four key issues: early termination, defaults during restructuring, unclear asset transfers, and changes in contract objects. These issues threaten both Shariah integrity and legal certainty. The paper proposes a governance framework grounded in qawāʿid fiqhiyyah and maqāṣid al-sharīʿah to guide ethical contract transitions. The findings offer practical insights for regulators, Shariah boards, and industry stakeholders to align legal reforms with Islamic principles. UU No. 4/2023 mengharuskan Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) bertransformasi menjadi Bank Umum Syariah (BUS), menimbulkan persoalan kepatuhan syariah atas kontrak berjalan. Studi ini mengkaji tiga akad utama—musyarakah, mudharabah, dan ijarah—dengan analisis kualitatif terhadap regulasi, fatwa, dan dokumen kelembagaan. Ditemukan empat isu utama: pemutusan dini, gagal bayar saat restrukturisasi, pengalihan aset yang tidak jelas, dan perubahan objek akad. Masalah ini berisiko melemahkan kepastian hukum dan integritas syariah. Studi ini menawarkan kerangka tata kelola berbasis qawāʿid fiqhiyyah dan maqāṣid al-sharīʿah untuk menjamin transisi kontrak yang etis. Abstract

Waqf is one of the resources with enormous potential for Islamic economic growth in Indonesia. This is evident in the existence of waqf land reaching 420.000 hectares which has not been fully optimized, leading to the classification of the land as traditional work. The phenomenon showed the need to manage waqf land properly to ensure more productivity. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the appropriate strategy to manage waqf land in Indonesia with a focus on the problems and solutions. This was achieved using a qualitative method through the application of the Analytic Network Process (ANP). Primary data were collected through the assessment of the problems by the respondents and subsequently categorized using a numerical scale. The results showed that the six problems to be prioritized in ensuring productivity in waqf lands include human resources, literacy comprehension, management system, socio-cultural, legal certification, and government policy. Meanwhile, the solutions required to be prioritized in solving these problems include increasing the supervision term for waqf land, socialization within the community, nadzir competence, reducing the cost of certification, minimizing operational costs, and improving the standard of recruitment into nadzir. The results are expected to serve as an alternative approach to elevating the quality of management as well as addressing human resource, institutional, and regulatory challenges within the Indonesian waqf system.
