Abstract

Potensi perikanan di Pantai Mutiara sangat besar. Ketersediaan ikan yang cukup banyak dan kontinyu diperlukan suatu diversifikasi olahan hasil perikanan berbahan baku ikan. Beberapa olahan hasil perikanan yang potensial dan belum ada di sekitar kawasan wisata pantai di Desa Tasikmadu adalah sate lilit dan otak-otak ikan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pedagang warung yang sekaligus anggota Pokdarwis Pantai Mutiara dalam memanfaatkan sumberdaya laut sekaligus memberikan keterampilan yang dapat digunakan untuk memanfaatkan peluang dari pengembangan wisata Pantai Mutiara. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan melakukan kordinasi dengan Pokdarwis Pantai Mutiara dan melakukan diskusi dengan calon peserta terkait waktu pelaksanaan dan lokasi pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan yaitu pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri dari pemaparan materi dan praktek pengolahan produk perikanan secara partisipatif. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan peserta setelah pelatihan selesai dilaksanakan. Peserta antusias dan aktif berpartisipasi selama pelatihan dilakukan serta merasa puas dengan produk yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Pengembangan produk merupakan sebuah usaha untuk memperbaiki produk yang sebelumnya sudah ada, atau menambah variasi pada produk agar tetap eksis sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Dalam rangka upaya pengembangan produk pada produk Mie Jagung dengan menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap produk Mie Jagung dan juga sebagai sebuah strategi untuk perbaikan produk. Pengambilan data Voive Of Customer (HOQ) dengan menyebarkan Kuesioner yang ditujukan kepada pelanggan yang hasilnya dapat dilihat melalui House Of Quality (HOQ). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pada tingkat kepuasan konsumen ditinjau dari 4 atribut yaitu rasa, tingkat kekenyalan, warna dan juga tekstur, hanya dari segi rasa yang dapat dicapai pleh produk mie jagung.

Abstract

Pengabdian  Kepada  Masyarakat  ini bertujuan  untuk  mendampingi dan membina para pekerja atau penjamah makanan di Savira Home Made Frozen Food dalam hal keamanan pangan dan mutu pangan terkait kandungan zat gizi.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi industri rumah tangga produk pangan olahan beku bahwa produk berisiko tinggi (high risk) yang memerlukan penanganan yang tepat, terutama pengaturan suhu yang tepat mulai dari proses produksi hingga ke tangan konsumen. Keamanan dari produk frozen food ini salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh suhu produk saat proses distribusi maupun penyimpanan, serta kandungan zat gizinya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, forum group discussion, analisis laboratorium dan pendampingan.  Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian 3 pekerja penjamah makanan frozen food. Hasil  dari  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini bahwa masyarakat mendapatkan pelatihan keamanan pangan dan dilakukan analisis uji laboratorium zat gizi pada frozen food yang nantinya akan ditampilkan pada kemasan produk di bagian informasi gizi. Label gizi dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan kepercayaan konsumen.

Abstract

Kopi merupakan komoditas unggulan Indonesia yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian, namun pengolahan kopi di beberapa daerah, termasuk Desa Kare, Kabupaten Madiun, masih terbatas pada produk kopi tradisional. Salah satu masalah utama adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam mengolah kopi menjadi produk bernilai tambah, serta pemanfaatan limbah kopi seperti kulit kopi (cascara) yang belum optimal. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani kopi di Desa Kare melalui pelatihan pengolahan kopi inovatif, termasuk pembuatan kombucha berbasis cascara. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelatihan produksi, dan pelatihan manajemen serta pemasaran. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan petani setelah pelatihan, dengan nilai pre-test meningkat dari 56,9% menjadi 79,3%. Pelatihan ini juga berdampak positif pada pemahaman petani tentang pengelolaan usaha dan pemasaran produk kopi inovatif. Kesimpulannya, program pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam mengolah kopi dan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan limbah kopi, serta berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan petani melalui produk inovatif yang lebih bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Coffee is Indonesia's leading commodity that contributes significantly to the economy, but coffee processing in some areas, including Kare Village, Madiun Regency, is still limited to traditional coffee products. One of the main problems is the lack of knowledge and skills of farmers in processing coffee into value-added products, as well as the unoptimal utilization of coffee waste, such as coffee skin (cascara). This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of coffee farmers in Kare Village through training on innovative coffee processing, including cascara-based kombucha making. The implementation method consists of three stages: preparation, production training, and management and marketing training. The results showed a significant increase in farmers' knowledge after the training, with the pre-test score increasing from 56.9% to 79.3%. The training also had a positive impact on farmers' understanding of business management and marketing of innovative coffee products. In conclusion, this service program succeeded in increasing the capacity of farmers in processing coffee and optimizing the utilization of coffee waste, and has the potential to increase farmers' income through innovative products that are more economically valuable.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in toddlers due to chronic malnutrition, repeated infections, and inadequate parenting in the first 1000 days of life. The prevalence of nutritional status toddler in Brotonegaran Village is 5.08% and one of the efforts to prevent stunting with food security. This service activity is carried out in synergy with the government to support the PKK, namely health. The purpose of this activity is to empower PKK cadres through counseling and training, as well as mentoring with Gerakan Sayang Ibu. Method: The activity partner is the PKK cadre group of Brotonegaran Village. The number of participants was 25 people. The methods used are counseling, training, and mentoring. Results: 25 PKK cadres were participating in a series of empowerment activities, including an FGD with the theme of empowering PKK in raising laying hens to suppress stunting which was attended by the village head and representatives of the local health center. The first counselor is about improving the quality of free-range chicken production and assistance in raising free-range chickens, the second counselor is about nutritional needs in the first 1000 days of life. Asih Asuh distributes free-range chicken eggs as a high-protein food to meet the needs of stunting-prone risk groups.  Conclusion: The empowerment of PKK cadres through FGD activities, training counseling, and foster care for the distribution of free-range chicken eggs, increased by 30% related to the knowledge, experience, and concern of PKK cadres as family companions in the community.

Abstract

Cocoa is one of the agricultural commodities that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia. Cocoa beans can be processed into processed food products with high selling value. Processed cocoa products include chocolate bars, cocoa butter and cocoa powder. Several processing stages are required to process cocoa into food products, including secondary and tertiary processing. Cocoa powder is one of the processed cocoa products that is in great demand by consumers. The use of cocoa powder as a substitute for processed food makes the process of processing cocoa powder very interesting for research. One of the factors that influences the quality of cocoa powder is the level of fineness of the cocoa powder.

Abstract

The contribution of MSMEs is significant to Indonesia's economic growth, but many MSME actors still rely on simple and poorly organized work methods in operational and human resource management. This results in poor production efficiency and entrepreneurial activities. A similar thing also happened at UM Krecek Krupuk Bu Nor, which is engaged in traditional snacks. Efficiency in production and sales activities is not optimal due to the lack of operational management and human resources. This training aims to provide assistance and training in operational governance and human resources, which can positively impact business actors. The method used is focused on interactive and participatory training with several stages such as preparation, implementation, and monitoring. The results of this training have a positive impact on UM Krecek Krupuk Bu Nor in operational and human resource management and can increase the level of efficiency in entrepreneurial operations.

Abstract

Bangkok Chicken (Gallus Gallus Domesticus) is a type of chicken in Indonesia that has a high source of protein and supports the community's economy. The growth and development phase of chicks is a critical period because chicks are very vulnerable to attacks by infectious and non-infectious diseases. These diseases can cause high mortality rates and cause significant economic losses for farmers. This study aimed to investigate the potential for using CNN technology in the early detection of disease in Bangkok chicks in the Ponorogo district. As an artificial neural network, CNN can recognize patterns in visual data with high accuracy. The use of CNN technology in the agricultural sector, including animal husbandry, has shown promising results in supporting early disease detection systems in livestock. This study aims to investigate the potential of using CNN technology in the early detection of disease in Bangkok chicks in the Ponorogo district. By processing visual data from chicken images, CNN will be trained to identify early signs of disease in chicks. The result of this research is that this research can help maintain the availability and security of animal food supplies, which is an essential component of overall food security. In addition, by reducing losses caused by disease, this research can contribute to sustainable agriculture by ensuring the continuation of stable and sustainable animal food production.
