Abstract

The research on the effect of organic fertilizer of cow dung on the growth of nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn) on Ultisol, aims to determine the effect of fertilization on seedling the growth of nyamplung seedling using organic fertilizer of Cow dung, and to abtain the best comparison between Ultisol soil and organic fertilizer of cow dung. The method used in this research was an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The experiment design consisted of 6 fertilization treatments and each was repeated 5 times, the number of seed used in the research was 30 nyamplung plant seeds. The results showed that the edition of organic fertilizer of cow dung in the planting medium of Ultisol soil provided better results on the nyamplung plant growth especially the growth in high, diameter, number of leaves and dry weight than only using PMK (Red Yellow Podsolik ) soil. The best growth of nyamplung plant was the addition of organic fertilizer of cow dung in the treatment at a ratio of 1: 5 (K5 compared with no treatment (control) and other treatments. Abstract

ABSTRACT Gaharu (Aquilaria malaccensis L) is one of the non timber forest products (HHBK) has high-value commercial. The high value caused the demand for commodities is increasing every year. But it is inversely proportional to its availability in nature. This research aims to determine the best concentration of the addition of NAA, BAP and the combination between the NAA and BAP on growth of root and shoot of gaharu. The benefits of this research are expected to be a reference in the provision of seedlings with vegetative reproduction in agarwood technique of tissue culture, to support the procurement activities of the seeds in a sufficient amount of a good quality in a relatively short time, and the resulting seedlings were uniform. The methods used factorial experimental design of Randomized complete (RAL) consisting of two factors and three times in Deuteronomy. NAA factor consists of five degrees of treatment i.e. N0 = 0 mg/l, N1 = 1 mg/l, N2 = 2 mg/l, N3 = 3 mg/l and N4 = 4 mg/l, whereas the factor of BAP is also composed of five degrees of concentration i.e. B0 = 0 mg/l, B1 = 0.5 mg/l, B2 = 1 mg/l, B3 = 1.5 mg/l and B4 = 2 mg/l with three times the replay so that required 75 eksplan gaharu. The results showed the best NAA concentration in the added of shoots with a concentration of 0 mg/l NAA, while concentration of    3 mg/l NAA was the best concentration of length the shoots and growth added root gaharu. The best concentration of BAP on shoot length and added long shoots are concentration of 0,5 mg/l BAP, while concentration of 0 mg/l BAP is the best concentration of the growth roots gaharu. Abstract

The benefits of Aquilaria malaccensis cause many people do the illegal activities to collect Aquilaria. Illegal logging causes Aquilaria in the endangered category species so that the export trade of this plant is limited. The problem of propagation of aquilaria can be solve with tissue culture techniques. The research objective is to determine the influencce of Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and Benzyl amino purine (BAP) on the development of subcultures best aloes. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Silviculture Faculty of Forestry University Tanjungpura, observations made during six weeks. The method used in this study is factorial completely randomized design (CRD) in this study is factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with, Data were analyzed with analysis of variance and followed HSD test. such as ; NAA and BAP as factors with three concentration level and six replicant, as follows NAA (A) : 0.1 mg/l ; 0.15 mg/l ; 0.2 mg/l and BAP (B) : 2.5 mg/l ; 3.0 mg/l ; 3.5 mg/l). The results showed that the interaction between NAA and BAP concentrations has significantly influence to the development of Aquilaria subculture. In this study the best concentration is A1B1 (0.1 mg/l NAA and 2,5 mg/l BAP) where the number of shoots produced as many as 12 buds. Abstract

Gastropod is one of the mollusk phylum that can adapt and decompose in mangrove forests. The mangrove forest in Sungai Kakap is an area that is slowly being opened due to the local community people’s activities. They opened land to build buildings, farms, and villages. This research is aimed at studying the diversity of Gastropod and the influence of the mangrove tree density on the gastropod diversity in the mangrove forest of Sungai Kakap, Sungai Kakap Village of Kubu Raya Regency. The data were taken in May 2018. The analysis was conducted using the observation method by making six observation lines. The lines were differentiated based on the density of the vegetations: dense, medium, and sparse. The number of Gastropods found in the Kakap River mangrove forest is 4 types of gastropods with a total of 252 individuals. Respectively from dense, medium, and sparse vegetation, the gastropod dominance index is 0.68, 0.37, and 0.51; the diversity index is 0.25, 0.49, and 0.33; the species average index is 0.27, 0.97, and 0.4; and the gastropod species richness index is 4.03, 1.18, and 0.7. Lastly, the species similarity index is respectively 86%, 66%, and 86%. Keywords: Gastropod, Mangrove Forests, Vegetation density.

Abstract

Forest mangrove constitute some ecosystem estuaria with system that apoplectic terbuka open and amenable nutrition pretty material organic and non organic along sediment from circle terrestrial. Literally ecology forest mangrove have a role urgent inside guard awkwaedness live water the sea and coastal. Literally economical, some research show that mangrove gives contributions to fish resources revolved 30%-44,18% the mangrove region a habitat for the various of fish, even some types of fish do breeding in the mangrove area. This research is aimed at exploring the diversity in the river mangrove area kakap district Kubu Raya  Province Borneo. Methods that used inside research here that is perposive sampling using tools catch nets and dragnet with 10 supprssant on broads 50 meter and installation draget at any dot observations. Samples taken in the show 6 points of observation within 100 meters. The setting of the sample points was done in the labyrinth p the mangrove orest, which is fine, moderate and badly demaged. Observations in the mangrove conditions affect the diversity of fish such as fine, moderate, and degraded conditions, the result is evidenced by accounts based on the reddish diersity in each observation station on this study is found as many as 5 different fish.Keyword : Fish, Mangrove, Species Diversity Of Fish

Abstract

The research aimed to know gall myte diseased characteristic on plant Shorea leprosula at pruning yard. of PT. Sari Bumi Kusuma at Serawai district, sintang regency. Research desaign used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and sample plant is placed at random in observing slot and data analysis used Khi square ( Chi Square ) with 3 treatments and 6 replications. First plant normal or untrimmed (A0), second treatment is trimmed (A1) and third treatment is trimmed plan and given by vaseline at sectioned plant which is trimmed (A2). Total plant that is utilized were 18 plants. Result of the research showed that 33% plants S. leprosula was attack by gall myte, disease for all treatment. Result tests of Chi Square pointing out that the treatment given is not significant. Disease gall myte can be seen on branch tip part plant, leaf armpit and autotrof. Initially just as bruise with circumference gall myte + 1cm and long + 0,5cm and green chromatic. Time range of appearance gall myte until ranging break tumor were 93 115 days. Abstract

Forest is a natural resource that is very important and beneficial for life and living either directly or indirectly. This study aims to determine how much carbon is stored, in the area of Forest City Hall Governor Pontianak. The method used in this study, is non-destructive sampling method with recording the diameter of all the trees on the track 20 m wide and 100 m long using allometric  equation appropriate for estimating biomass. Based on  the research results of carbon estimation stored in Governor City Hall Forest  area with 3.2 ha area there are 38 species of trees with the number of 584 individuals, biomass about 140.62 tons/ha, while for carbon stock from stands about 70.27 tons/ha. Abstract

Nepenthes plants iniluding groud lianas (vines), married two and separate male and female ftowers on the different individual. Lite in the gronnd or attached to the trunk or branches of the other trees. Nepenthes are living in the open or shelter or poor nutrient habitats and having a furly high humidity. The purpose was determining diversity of types pitcher of plants, Nepenthes habitat of conditions are existing on Bukit Benua and distribution in pattern. The analysis results of date obtained six types pitches of plants like that Nepenthes ampullaria, N mirabilis, N gracilis, xkuchingensis, N xhookeriana and xneglecta with 592 individuals. Nepenthes condition habitat has found in the open location 413 individuals, shade has found 118 individuals and shaurd location has found 61 individuals the value of the hinghes species diversity (. N ampullaria of 0,15, whereas N xneglecta is very little of 0,07. Index value everneass (e) is very leind haighest N ampullaria 0,20, N xneglecta is very small 0,09. Pattren nepenthes of distribution in Bukit Benua in all groups because of the greater is than 1.Key words : Distribution of nepenthes.

Abstract

The diversity of tree vegetation in Forest Areas With Special Purpose Samboja need to be described as supporting data in forest management and development activities as well as to support the research and education activities in the region. This study aims to determine species diversity of trees and vegetation beneficial provide basic scientific information about the diversity of vegetation types of trees, so it can be used as a data base in the management and utilization by the community and local government. Using a method of combination of lines and line terraced, on 9 (nine) lines with track width of 20m, 300m long track. Purposively placed transect cut contour assuming representation of forest conditions which was researched and diversity of vegetation types. Results of the study consisted of 342 tree species from 57 families. There are 44 types included in the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species), CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) 2 and 3 species included endemic. The highest importance value index for seedlings is Fordia splendidissima (Blume ex Miq.) Buijsen 25.2327876%, Sapling is Fordia splendidissima (Blume ex Miq.) Buijsen 32.0401352%, Poles is Macaranga gigantea (reichb.f. & Zoll.) Mull Arg. 29.8578411% and tree is Macaranga gigantea (reichb.f. & Zoll.) Mull Arg. 20.7934681%. Abstract

ABSTRACT Mangosteen is one of the types of plants that have a high economic value and become a commudity export market internationally. This is because the mangosteen has many beneficial uses. Mangosteen is one of tropical forest trees that have the correct length of the cycle and have a less good rooting systems making it difficult to grow naturally. So, the mangosteen seeds procurement needs to be done quickly and in an excellent quality to support the productivity of the mangosteen. One of the ways that can be done is with the technique of tissue culture. The research aimed to get the concentration of yeast, corn seed extract as well as the combination of yeast and corn seed extract which is optimum for budding multiplication mangosteen and the mangosteen shoots long added. The research was carried out using the basic method of complate random design arranged in a factorial with two factors, namely the yeast with 5 degrees of treatment (control, R1=7%, R2=8%, R3=9%, R4=10%) and corn seed extract with 5 treatment levels (control, J1=7%, J2=8%, J3=9%, J4=10%)  so there are 25 treatment with 3 replicates and earned 75 units of the experiment. The results showed the best yeast concentration in the yeast is added the number of shoots with a concentration of 9% while the increase in the concentration of the best corn number of shoots was with a concentration of 8%. To increase the length of the shoots of the mangosteen, the best yeast concentration is 8%, while the best corn seed extract is concentration on 0%. The best combination between the yeast and corn seed extract in the amount of the increase of the mangosteen is R3J2 and shoots to high value added mangosteen shoots, a combination of yeast and corn seed extract is best R2J0.
