Abstract

This study aims to determine the success rate of group guidance services with discussion techniques on student career planning which refers to the phenomenon of students who are still confused in determining further education and lack understanding of the world of work. The variables in this study are career planning (Super, 1980) and group discussions (Romlah, 2020). Career planning according to Super (1980) is an individual thought process in seeking information and self-understanding as well as various aspects of work. This research method is Mix Methods using The Explanatory Sequential Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were class XII students of SMAN 1 Sindangkerta with a population of 206 students. The research sample consisted of 8 students. This sampling technique uses a purvosive sampling technique according to Sugiyono (2019) explaining that the purposive sampling technique is a sample selection technique with certain considerations. The measuring instrument in this study used a student career planning scale with a reliability of 0.847. Based on the results of the Paired t-test worth 0.000 <0.05, it shows that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the guidance group with discussion techniques influences career planning for class XII SMAN 1 Sindangkerta so that it can be interpreted that the guidance group with discussion techniques can help improve the career planning of class XII students at SMAN 1 Sindangkerta.

Abstract

Home room technique group guidance is the creation of a family atmosphere in group guidance services so that students are comfortable and not awkward when discussing. Comfort in a family atmosphere makes the topic of sexuality education no longer taboo to discuss. This study aims to improve the understanding of sexuality education in order to prevent the occurrence of risky sexual behavior of adolescents who are dating. This research method is a mixed method explanatory design. The sample of the study was 8 students of grade VIII of PGRI Ganjar Sabar Junior High School. The results of this study show that through the implementation of group guidance of home room techniques, it can improve the sexuality education of learners. Evidenced by the results of the t test which obtained a significance value of 2 tailed, which is 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of group counseling services using role playing techniques in reducing burnout in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Cipatat. The variables in this study were group guidance with role playing techniques and learning burnout. The burnout theory used is based on the theory of Maslach and Jackson (1981). The research method used is a mixed method with an explanatory sequential design. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 10 class VIII students. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires (pretest and posttest) and analyzed by T-test while qualitative data were collected through observation and interviews which were analyzed using data reduction. The results of the quantitative data showed that there was a decrease in student learning burnout through group guidance services. role playing technique with a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that group guidance services with role playing techniques are effective in reducing learning burnout for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Cipatat. From the results of qualitative data, it shows that there are obstacles from students and counseling teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan social support terhadap kecemasan siswa dalam mengahdapi ujian. Ujian akhir nasional (UN) merupakan suatu situasi yang sangat membuat cemas dan ketakutan bagi para siswa karena UN ini menentukan kelulusan siswa agar dapat mengikuti jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Tingkat kecemasan yang dirasakan oleh siswa tentunya berbeda-beda, ada yang tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Untuk mengatasi kecemasan siswa membutuhkan social support dari orang disekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil uji korelasi adalah -0,53 artinya sifat hubungan nya adalah negatif dan HA diterima dan H0 ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara social support dengan kecemasan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran employability pada mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori employability yang dikemukakan oleh tokoh Pool & Sewell (2007). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 280 orang mahasiswa tingkat akhir di UNJANI, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Snowball sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi dari alat ukur yang telah dibuat oleh Pool & Sewell (2007) mengenai employability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa employability dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Self Concept and Self-Adjustment of New Students in Guidance and Counseling Study Program of IKIP SILIWANGI. The method used in this study is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The theory used in this study is the theory of Self Concept proposed by William H Fitts (1971) and the theory of adjustment proposed by Alexander Schneiders (1964). The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling, the number of samples in this study were 40 new students of the Guidance and Counseling study program at IKIP SILIWANGI. The measuring instrument used in this study is the adaptation of the Tennessee Self-Concept scale (TSCS) developed by William H. Fitts (1971) and the measuring instrument for social adjustment is a measuring instrument made by researchers based on aspects of social adjustment based on theory. from Schneiders (1964). The results of the study obtained test results with a value of tcount (2.595) > ttable (2.021). This indicates that Ho is rejected, which indicates that there is a positive relationship between the Self concept variable and the adjustment of New Students in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of IKIP SILIWANGI.Keywords:   Self Concept, Self Adjustment, Students   Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan antara Self Concept dengan Penyesuaian Diri Mahasiswa Baru di Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling IKIP SILIWANGI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Self Concept yang dikemukakan oleh William H fitts (1971) dan teori penyesuaian diri yang di kemukakan oleh Alexander Schneiders (1964). Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 mahasiswa baru program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di IKIP SILIWANGI. Alat ukur yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi alat ukur Tennessee Self-Concept scale (TSCS) yang dikembangkan oleh William H. Fitts (1971) dan alat ukur untuk penyesuaian sosial adalah alat ukur yang dibuat oleh peneliti berdasarkan aspek-aspek penyesuaian sosial berdasarkan teori dari Schneiders (1964). Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan hasil pengujian dengan nilai thitung (2,595) > ttabel (2,021). Hal tersebut mengindikasikan Ho ditolak yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara variabel Self concept dengan penyesuaian diri  pada Mahasiswa Baru di Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling IKIP SILIWANGI.Kata Kunci: Self Concept, Penyesuaian Diri, Mahasiswa

Abstract

English: Student well-being has an important role in optimizing students in achievement. However, students tend to have low student well-being due to a lot of academic pressure. This study aims to determine how much effect academic stress has on student well-being in senior high school students. Quantitative research using an inductive approach with the type of causality research on 219 students. Educational Stress Scale of Adolescents (ESSA) and Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (SSWQ) were used as data collection tools. The results showed that there was no effect of academic stress on student well-being. Overall, most students have a moderate level of academic stress and student well-being. From the results of this study, the researchers suggest for future researchers to examine other factors that can affect student well-being besides academic stress, such as motivation, coping strategies, social support, forgiveness, self-esteem. Indonesia:Student well-being berperan penting untuk mengoptimalisasikan diri siswa dalam mencapai prestasi. Namun, siswa cenderung memiliki student well-being yang rendah disebabkan banyaknya tekanan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh stres akademik terhadap student well-being pada siswa SMA. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausalitas terhadap 219 siswa SMA. Educational Stress Scale of Adolescents (ESSA) dan Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (SSWQ) digunakan sebagai alat pengambilan data. Secara keseluruhan, sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat stres akademik dan memiliki tingkat student well-being pada kategori sedang. Hanya satu aspek pada variabel stres akademik yang mampu memprediksi tingkat student well-being pada siswa, yaitu pada aspek worry about grades yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Dari hasil penelitian ini peneliti menyarankan untuk peneliti selanjutnya untuk meneliti faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi student well-being selain stres akademik, seperti motivasi, strategi coping, dukungan sosial, forgiveness, self-esteem.

Abstract

Kondisi jama’ah yang heterogen perlu disikapi secara empatik oleh pembimbing haji untuk meminimalisir konflik yang disebabkan oleh kesalahfahaman budaya baik antara jama’ah dengan pembimbing maupun diantara jama’ah sendiri sehingga tujuan dari pelaksanaan ibadah haji dapat tercapai. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan keterampilan empati multibudaya (multicultural empathy) menjadi sangat penting bagi pembimbing haji. Empati multibudaya tersebut meliputi kemampuan pembimbing untuk memahami dan berkomunikasi dengan jama’ah pada tingkat emosional, kognitif, dan perilaku. Artikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang berisi ulasan, rangkuman, dan pemikiran penulis tentang Peran Kecerdasan Emotional (Emotional Intellegence) Dalam Meningkatkan Empati Multibudaya (Multicultural Empathy) Pembimbing Haji. Data dibangun dengan menelusuri literatur berupa artikel-artikel konseptual yang relevan dan studi-studi terdahulu yang darinya kesimpulan dapat ditarik. Artikel konseptual ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berharga dalam diskusi ilmiah serta menjadi data awal untuk penelitian tentang tema yang relevan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and implementation of group guidance services with modeling techniques in improving students' Self esteem and the obstacles faced by teachers and students in class VIII MTsN 6 Cianjur. The level of success of group guidance services with modeling techniques in increasing students' Self esteem, which refers to the phenomenon of students who have low Self esteem such as not believing in themselves, and lack of acceptance from others. This research method is Mix Mtehods using The Explanatory Sequential Design with One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were class VIII students of MTsN 6 Cianjur consisting of 10 students. The sampling technique used in this study used purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument in this study used a Likert scale, and the results of the Cronbach's alpha reliability test were 0.899. Based on the results of the paired t-test test, it is 0.001 <0.05, this shows that the Ho hypothesis is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that group guidance with modeling techniques is effective in increasing the Self esteem of class VIII students at MTsN 6 Cianjur so it can be concluded that the application of group guidance services with modeling techniques is effective in increasing the Self esteem of class VIII students at MTsN 6 Cianjur.

Abstract

This study aims to describe group counseling services using the modeling technique for students with low self-efficacy at SMKN 01 Cipongkor. The research design employed is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were six eleventh-grade students at SMKN 01 Cipongkor. Data collection methods used were interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that group counseling services using the modeling technique were provided to students identified as having low self-efficacy and were carried out in four stages. Students responded very positively to the group counseling services using the modeling technique. The challenges faced by the guidance and counseling teacher during implementation were related to inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Students experienced an increase in self-efficacy after receiving group counseling services through the modeling technique. Based on these results, group counseling services using the modeling technique can be used as a reference for future researchers who wish to conduct studies on students’ self-efficacy levels.
