Abstract

Academic dishonesty among students in numerous nations is on the rise, and if allowed unchecked, it may be hazardous to a person's personality development and even entry into the workforce. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of religiousity and self-control on academic dishonesty in Accounting Education students at the State University of Malang. The purposive sampling strategy yielded a total of 96 samples. The data was gathered using an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression in a data processing tool (SPSS). According to the findings of the study, religiousity and self-control had a detrimental impact on student academic dishonesty. This suggests that the higher a student's level of religiousity and self-control, the less academic dishonesty he or she commits, and vice versa.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product in the form of a digital module with the Canva platform and flipbook maker to improve student learning outcomes in cost accounting courses on the topic of cost of orders. Digital modules make it easy for students to access and increase students' interest in learning. This development research uses the ADDIE research design and development model. The research results found that the feasibility level in terms of media was very good with a score of 94%, while in terms of feasibility the digital module material developed received a score of 95% with very feasible criteria. The effectiveness results show that the digital module is able to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of cost of goods ordered. Educators are required to be creative in developing teaching materials, so digital modules are a form of creativity in teaching materials by presenting audio, visuals, animation and flexibility in use.

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah merupakan salah satu syarat untuk memperoleh gelar sarjana. Mahasiswa diharuskan mampu membuat karya ilmiah berupa skripsi dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya di jurnal ilmiah. Adanya tuntutan tersebut memotivasi dilakukannya pengabdian ini. Adapun tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu: a). Memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Akuntansi yang sedang menempuh skripsi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ilmiah mahasiswa Akuntansi; b) Memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Akuntansi tentang kiat-kiat menyusun artikel penelitian yang berasal dari hasil penelitian skripsi; c) Memberikan pelatihan terkait cara membuat artikel ilmiah yang menarik dan layak publis di jurnal terakreditasi nasional ataupun jurnal internasional; d) Memberikan pelatihan tentang cara mencari jurnal yang sesuai dengan scope penelitian serta jurnal yang memiliki reputasi yang baik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatnya keterampilan serta kemampuan mahasiswa Akuntansi dalam menulis artikel ilmiah serta mahasiswa lebih cermat dalam memilih jurnal yang kredibel dan sesuai dengan scope penelitian mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi.

Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain) is often experienced by women of childbearing age. The main complaint is abdominal pain that spreads from the lower back to the thighs. The pain complaint results in disruption of daily activities. The purpose of the study was to identify the description of type of coping, and coping mechanisms in women who experience dysmenorrhea. Methods: The type of research used was descriptive exploratory with a population of 252 women of childbearing age who experienced dysmenorrhea. The sample size of this study was 152 women (Krejci & Morgan table). The independent variable is dysmenorrhea, and the dependent variable is the type and coping mechanisms. The instrument for identifying the type, and coping mechanisms used a questionnaire. Data on women of childbearing age who experienced dysmenorrhea were obtained from secondary data from the Village Midwife's records. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and secondary data observations. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, in the form of frequency distribution percentages and prevalence ratios. Results: The results showed that women who experienced dysmenorrhea tended to use adaptive coping. The most frequently used coping mechanism was problem-focused coping. Women who work and are active in sports are risk factors that can reduce dysmenorrhea. Adolescent age, secondary education, age of menarche less than 12 years, and menstrual periods more than 7 days are triggers for dysmenorrhea. Conclusion: regular exercise and work are positive coping mechanisms that can reduce dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the Disaster Resilient Village (Destana) forum's preparedness for disaster-related health crises. The key challenges identified are low community response to early warning systems and slow mobilization of health resources, both contributing to high victim numbers and exacerbating health crises. The study focuses on creating an accessible early warning system and accelerating health resource mobilization, prioritizing these elements based on an analysis of disaster preparedness parameters. Using Action Research with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design, the research was conducted in Magetan Regency, East Java, involving 150 Destana forum administrators. The study explores the development of early warning procedures, health contingency plans, emergency response structures, and simulation plans. The findings reveal that the Destana forum successfully developed tailored health contingency plans for each village, including an inclusive early warning system Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for vulnerable groups. Additionally, an integrated health command structure was formed, enhancing emergency response coordination. Emergency response simulations with 90 participants demonstrated improved readiness and community engagement in handling health crises. The study highlights the importance of a participatory, sustainable approach to building resilience, showing that active community involvement fosters collective responsibility for managing health crises during disasters.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan, sistem informasi manajemen dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kompetensi sebagai variabel intervening di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai yang berstatus ASN di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang berjumlah 108 orang. Penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik survey, sehingga jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi, yaitu sebanyak 108 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner berskala Likert, dengan instrumen berupa lembar kuesioner. Kemudian, hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing variabel kepemimpinan, sistem informasi manajemen, lingkungan kerja, dan kompetensi berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kemudian, variabel kepemimpinan, sistem informasi manajemen, lingkungan kerja, berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kompetensi. Selanjutnya, secara tidak langsung masing-masing variabel kepemimpinan, sistem informasi manajemen, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kompetensi sebagai variabel intervening.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad-21 menuntut guru untuk mampu menciptakan pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu membentuk keterampilan abad-21 peserta didik. Pembelajaran abad-21 mengharapkan guru pada proses pembelajaran menerapkan model-model pembelajaran inovatif, tidak lagi menggunakan model pembelajaran tradisional. Terdapat empat jenis model pembelajaran inovatif yang merefleksikan pembelajaran abad-21 yaitu inquiry learning, discovery learning, problem based learning (PBL) dan project based learning (PjBL). Hasil survey awal juga menunjukan bahwa beberapa guru sudah ada yang mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif seperti PBL, tetapi masih terdapat kesalahan dalam menerapkan model PBL. Sintak PBL belum diterapkan dengan sebenarnya oleh guru akuntansi. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan tentang bagaimana yang seharusnya menurut konsep dan pedagogy dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif, terutama pada sintaks orientasi peserta didik pada masalah (problem).

Abstract

The research aims to analyze financial management problems faced by students and analyze the role of financial education in improving financial management. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach to the literature study method. carried out by collecting secondary research data from various published research articles and those contained in scientific journals, documents, reference sources that are in accordance with the topic of the role of financial education in improving student financial management. The research results show that students' financial management still needs to be improved and financial education, both formal and informal, is proven to be able to contribute to improving this ability

Abstract

Background: Disaster preparedness is one of the important aspects in reducing the negative impacts of disasters, especially in areas prone to natural disasters. This study aims to develop a community-based disaster preparedness module that can improve community resilience and response capabilities to disaster threats. This module is designed to provide practical guidance in preparedness efforts, as well as build the capacity of local communities. Methods: This study uses a research and development design with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population in this study was the community in disaster-prone areas in Genilangit Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency. The sample consisted of 120 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria of the community who had been involved in disaster mitigation activities. The main variable in this study was community preparedness before and after the implementation of the module. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire to measure preparedness and in-depth interviews to gain qualitative insights into the implementation of the module. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired descriptive statistics to see the difference in preparedness before and after the module intervention. While qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Results: The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the module significantly increased the level of community preparedness in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to disaster mitigation. Conclusion: These findings indicate that this module can be an effective tool in increasing community resilience in disaster-prone areas.
