Abstract

Background: Disaster preparedness is one of the important aspects in reducing the negative impacts of disasters, especially in areas prone to natural disasters. This study aims to develop a community-based disaster preparedness module that can improve community resilience and response capabilities to disaster threats. This module is designed to provide practical guidance in preparedness efforts, as well as build the capacity of local communities. Methods: This study uses a research and development design with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population in this study was the community in disaster-prone areas in Genilangit Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency. The sample consisted of 120 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria of the community who had been involved in disaster mitigation activities. The main variable in this study was community preparedness before and after the implementation of the module. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire to measure preparedness and in-depth interviews to gain qualitative insights into the implementation of the module. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired descriptive statistics to see the difference in preparedness before and after the module intervention. While qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Results: The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the module significantly increased the level of community preparedness in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to disaster mitigation. Conclusion: These findings indicate that this module can be an effective tool in increasing community resilience in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

Village resilience is an important foundation in community-based disaster risk reduction efforts. This policy brief is prepared based on recommendations from the results of village resilience assessment research. The research as the basis for the policy brief was conducted in 30 Disaster Resilient Villages in Magetan Regency using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which emphasizes active community involvement in the assessment process. The assessment was carried out by filling out a questionnaire from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) containing 128 questions and covering five main aspects: basic services, regulations and policies, prevention and mitigation, emergency preparedness, and post-disaster recovery. The questionnaire was filled out through interviews and focus group discussions (FGD). The results showed that only around 20% of villages achieved the Main Disaster Resilient Village category. This shows the need for an increase in overall efforts made by the disaster resilient village forum together with the village government. Two main recommendations are proposed. First, strengthening the capacity of the Disaster Resilient Village Forum as the driving force for disaster risk management activities at the village level. This forum needs to be supported through training, facilitation, and strengthening its role in program planning and implementation. Second, the allocation of village funds needs to be increased by around 5–8% to fund activities such as disaster-resistant infrastructure development, disaster mitigation, capacity training, emergency response simulations, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, emergency response funds, and post-disaster recovery. The success of both recommendations is highly dependent on collaboration between local and village governments. Local governments need to support with clear regulations, technical assistance, and adequate budgets. Meanwhile, village governments need to include disaster risk reduction in development plans. This synergy will accelerate the realization of disaster-resilient villages.

Abstract

Development of sewing skills for persons with disabilities is carried out with the aim of improving their skills so that they can open jobs or business. This sewing training development activity is in the form of training in making product designs and making dress patterns. The results in this study are that person with disabilities who are considerate incapable of being productive, creative and innovative by being given sewing development training are able to help improve their business skills which can be useful for starting a business.Keywords : Development, disabilities, training, sewing skills

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tindakan kelas dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya anak didik Kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Kepung 3 Kecamatan Kepung Kabupaten Kediri yang berjumlah 15 anak, Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif persentatif dan deskriptif aktivitas anak didik. Validitas data menggunakan validitasisi (content validity). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Eksplorasi Lingkungan Sekitar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sains anak didik terbukti dari kenyataan bahwa kondisi awal sebelum dilakukan tindakan, rata-rata persentasi kemampuan sains anak sebesar 41.18%. Kemudian setelah dilakukan tindakan penelitian kelas melalui Eksplorasi Lingkungan Sekitar rata-rata persentasi kemampuan sains anak meningkat menjadi 58.82%. Berikutnya pada siklus II rata-rata persentasi kemampuan sains anak meningkat sebesar 70.59% dan terakhir pada siklus III rata-rata persentasi kemampuan sains anak sudah mencapai target sesuai dengan yang diharapkan peneliti yaitu sebesar 88.24%.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini yaitu: a). Memberikan diklat kepada para pengurus koperasi terkait pentingnya menyusun laporan keuangan dengan baik dan benar; b). Melatih dan mendampingi para pengurus koperasi dalam penggunaan software Accurate dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan mengadopsi langkah-langkah yang ada di action reserach yaitu perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). Kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil karena peserta berargumen bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka karena dapat menambah pengetahuan mereka tentang software-software akuntansi. Pelatihan ini juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menyusun laporan keuangan berbasis ICT.

Abstract

Mewabahnya Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) telah memberikan dampak yang besar pada sektor ekonomi, tidak terkecuali para pelaku UMKM. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yaitu: pertama, terkait pemasaran produk yang tidak dapat dilakukan secara langsung (cara konvensional); kedua, terkait penentuan harga jual produk yang kompetitif dan menguntungkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: a) mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan kepada para pelaku UMKM terkait metode alternatif dalam pemasaran produk yaitu, dengan melakukan pemasaran produk secara digital (melalui media sosial dan pembuatan website blog); b) mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan kepada pelaku UMKM terkait metode cost-plus pricing guna menentukan harga jual produk; c) melakukan pendampingan dalam membuat akun media sosial dan penentuan harga jual produk menggunakan metode cost-plus pricing hingga menghasilkan harga jual produk baru yang lebih kompetitif dan menguntungkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini mengadopsi tahapan pada action research yang terdiri dari perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan evaluasi (evaluating), serta refleksi (reflecting). Kegiatan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil karena pelaku UMKM merasa mampu menghitung dengan menggunakan metode cost plus pricing serta berhasil membuat media digital untuk usahanya.

Abstract

The digital transformation and the requirements of SDG 8 have necessitated the incorporation of entrepreneurship into higher education, particularly in accounting education. The MBKM program is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing experiential learning; nevertheless, research investigating student experiences in this setting is still few. A qualitative phenomenological approach indicates that student participation in the AM program enhances awareness and interest in entrepreneurial professions, especially as edupreneurs.  Field activities improve interpersonal skills, including communication, collaboration, and leadership. Students believe that the incorporation of entrepreneurship into the curriculum is not comprehensive, hindered by insufficient infrastructure support, a scarcity of lecturer role models, and a rigid academic culture.  This study underscores the significance of a transformational and interdisciplinary methodology in accounting education to cultivate an adaptive entrepreneurial ecosystem. Practical implications urge higher education institutions to enhance assistance for the cultivation of entrepreneurial competencies to facilitate the attainment of SDG 8.

Abstract

According to several studies, music and stimuli provide a sense of security, comfort, and fun, including for children’s growth and development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the positive impact of the combination of classical music and stimulation, detection, and early intervention of growth and development (SDIDTK) on the growth and development of children. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest with a control group. The two intervention groups were given a combination of natural and music therapy and SDIDTK, each intervention was given for 30 minutes and lasted for three consecutive days. A sample of 60 people was divided into two groups, namely children with classical music and SDIDTK as the treatment and the control groups. The dependent variable is classical music and SDIDTK and the independent variable is children without music and SDIDTK. Data analysis using t-test statistics. Results of the study of body weight before and after intervention show shows the p-value (0.000) alpha (0.005), so there is a significant difference in the averages of head circumference before and after the intervention. While head circumference averages before and after intervention show all three groups are below 0.05, meaning that the p values (0.009, 0.000, and 0.008) alpha (0.05), so there is a significant difference in average body weight before and after the intervention. The conclusion of this study recommends the use of classical-natural music therapy in combination with SDIDTK for a positive influence on children's growth and development.

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah merupakan salah satu syarat untuk memperoleh gelar sarjana. Mahasiswa diharuskan mampu membuat karya ilmiah berupa skripsi dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya di jurnal ilmiah. Adanya tuntutan tersebut memotivasi dilakukannya pengabdian ini. Adapun tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu: a). Memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Akuntansi yang sedang menempuh skripsi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ilmiah mahasiswa Akuntansi; b) Memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Akuntansi tentang kiat-kiat menyusun artikel penelitian yang berasal dari hasil penelitian skripsi; c) Memberikan pelatihan terkait cara membuat artikel ilmiah yang menarik dan layak publis di jurnal terakreditasi nasional ataupun jurnal internasional; d) Memberikan pelatihan tentang cara mencari jurnal yang sesuai dengan scope penelitian serta jurnal yang memiliki reputasi yang baik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatnya keterampilan serta kemampuan mahasiswa Akuntansi dalam menulis artikel ilmiah serta mahasiswa lebih cermat dalam memilih jurnal yang kredibel dan sesuai dengan scope penelitian mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi.

Abstract

Tahun 2020 didapatkan data K4 Desa Pendem 78% dan Desa Balegondo 85% dari target 88%. Cakupan ASI eksklusif Desa Pendem 78% dan Desa Balegondo 86% dari target 95%. Sehubungan hal tersebut perlu dilaksanakan Kelas Ibu hamil sebagai Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat “Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM)”. Penyelenggaraan Kelas Ibu Hamil merupakan sarana belajar bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil mengenai  perawatan kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, bayi baru lahir, mitos, penyakit menular dan akte kelahiran. Pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil pagi hari jam 07.30-12.00 WIB. Lama kegiatan 100-200 menit. Frekuensi 4 kali pertemuan, Desa Pendem Pertemuan I-IV Tanggal 15, 18, 21, dan 26 Juni 2021, di Balai Pertemuan Desa Pendem. Desa Balegondo Pertemuan I-IV Tanggal 14, 18, 22, dan 28 September 2021, di Balai Pertemuan Desa Balegondo. Hasil pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil di Desa Pendem didapatkan rerata hasil pretest 79 sedangkan posttest 92.75. Hasil pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil di Desa Balegondo didapatkan rerata hasil pretest 80.5 sedangkan posttest 88. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu Hamil tentang pemeriksaan kehamilan, Persalinan Aman, Nifas Nyaman, Ibu Selamat, Bayi Sehat, Pencegahan penyakit, Komplikasi Kehamilan, Persalinan dan Nifas, Perawatan bayi baru lahir. Mengingat manfaatnya maka disarankan kegiatan kelas ibu hamil dilakukan secara berkesinambungan.
