Abstract

If a company or agency is faced with a conflict, the thing that must be done is not to avoid conflict but to manage conflict, conflict can be faced and managed by knowing in advance where the cause is and also understanding how to solve existing problems. A leader must be able to provide a good role model in terms of communication and action. In addition, a leader must also swiftly solve problems by managing conflict. Some communication measures used are to communicate as well as possible both vertically and horizontally to all levels in the company. Based on Katherine Miller's theory, it can be studied more deeply about how a leader should manage conflict properly and correctly. Through optimization in organizational communication, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, the contribution of a leader in a company will be seen. So the importance of leadership style in a company is a step towards the success of a company. Keyword: Communications and Leadership Style

Abstract

Company profile is an information service that describes the identity of institutional information that can be used as a medium of information to convey about the company to the internal public and external public. Company profile is also a form of good service to the external public by providing accurate, reliable information and the information services provided must function properly. As an institution that embodies democracy in Indonesia, the General Elections Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPU RI) requires a platform for transparency regarding the identity of the institution. Company Profile is considered to be able to represent the KPU RI in bridging information to the external public and as one of the KPU RI communication media that is informative and can reach the agency's targets. The study used descriptive qualitative data analysis methods by searching for primary and secondary data regarding the KPU RI, reviewing literature studies and related documentation in order to compile research results properly.

Abstract

Communication in the family is communication that exists between parents and children, so it can be said as interpersonal communication that has strong and clear ties. In addition, communication within the family is a filtering and neutralization of communication received by children from outside. Therefore, parenting in the family plays an important role for the success of forming good attitudes and emotions in children. This type of research takes a descriptive qualitative strategy or method with in-depth interpretation so that it can be seen the results of the analysis of the parenting patterns of both working parents towards their children whose daily lives are not taken care of by their parents, analyzes how children adopt words and behaviors that are different from what their parents have taught them. these words, attitudes and behaviors are brought home.

Abstract

Nowadays more and more inserted in the marriage culture is the presence of hand decoration using henna. Although the use of henna is not stated in certain religious or cultural laws, there is a reason used by prospective brides to use henna as decorative accessories on the back of the hand when performing traditional marriages. The difference in meaning in denotation and connotation is the basic basis for the use of henna in traditional wedding processions, this is also seen in the Sumbawa cultural custom processions. This study uses an ethnographic point of view with qualitative descriptive research methods, sources of information obtained from secondary interviews and literature reviews in the form of books and scientific journals that are in accordance with the research. So that an explanation is obtained based on Roland Barhtes' symbol chart regarding the use of henna on the back of the hand of the prospective bride.

Abstract

With the presence of technological advances and communication today is also accompanied by the many social media circulating in the community. One of them is Tiktok, which originated from China and is now widely used in Indonesia. By capitalizing on the concept of entertainment that is easily applied by the community, especially children and adolescents, Tiktok is increasingly becoming the prima donna in the world of social media. From various walks of life people are certainly familiar with and have participated in Tiktok content. The convenience provided by the application maker is evident from the existence of instructions that are young in the use of Tiktok. Even teenagers aged 13-15 years have now made Tiktok a consumption of social media every day. Analysis of the data used by the authors in this study aims to answer the questions listed in the identification of problems. This study uses descriptive quantitative analysis techniques with a questionnaire method. Then in the application in population calculations and samples consisting of several teenagers aged 13-15 years who are in the vicinity of housing, with the level of early junior high school education regarding the factor of the use of Tiktok.

Abstract

Apart from being a place to leave children when both parents work, daycare is also seen as a place for child protection and fulfillment that is suitable for parents of industrial workers, especially the existence of daycare not far from the work location so as to minimize the time to pick up and drop children from work to and from work. The social interaction that occurs between the parents of industrial workers and the community in South Tambun regarding the daycare phenomenon lies in the daily life of industrial workers who have erratic working hours and have to leave their children in daycare which is seen as a daycare for city people who can afford it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative strategy or method with an in-depth interpretation of field findings based on existing facts. This research tradition is a phenomenological tradition that focuses attention on the conscious experience of an individual and uses an interpretive paradigm that seeks to find explanations about social or cultural events based on the perspectives and experiences of the person or organization under study. Using a symbolic interactionism analysis knife, the research describes three concepts, namely Mind, Self and Society from parents of industrial estate workers who leave their children in daycare.

Abstract

As one of the Municipality in West Java Province of Indonesia, Depok has now undergone a very rapid change both in terms of government, economy, commerce and tourism. As a buffer city between Jakarta and Bogor, Depok is often associated with the Megapolitan City in the Jabodetabek area which has a population increase each year, high community activities up to traffic congestion in Jakarta. Judging from this, it is possible that the land in Depok City will also decrease, especially green open land which has benefits for water absorption, noise reduction and the development of a viable environment for nature, culture and the community / residents of Depok City. To overcome the diminishing green open spaces and cultural recreation areas in Depok City, the Government has the idea to develop several natural tourism objects into ecotourism which can be used as a counterweight to the problems of limited environmental quality in Depok City. Depok City Government optimizes at least 4 Situ which is currently being worked on in the context of ecotourism development. Although in terms of implementing the concept of ecotourism it is not as easy and fast as expected, but the Depok City Government has taken its role as much as developing natural tourism products into community-based ecotourism, but still experiences some obstacles from in the government itself, from the community and from the private sector as a wheel of tourism development. This study uses a content-descriptive analysis research method, by studying more information obtained from various reading sources and concluding it into a discourse.

Abstract

Situ Rawakalong merupakan salah satu situ yang tepatnya terletak di Desa Curug, Kecamatan Cimanggis, Kota Depok yang pada awal tahun 2019 dilakukan revitalisasi dan penataan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat agar Situ Rawakalong dapat menjadi salah satu tempat wisata alam bahkan ekowisata yang menarik bagi masyarakat. Hal lainnya, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat khususnya Desa Curug untuk menghabiskan waktu liburan bersama keluarga dan mengurangi aktivitas mengisi liburan di mall atau pusat perbelanjaan. Selain itu, pengembangan Situ yang kedepannya diharapkan menjadi destinasi ekowisata sangat membutuhkan peran yang maksimal dari pemerintah dan masyarakat. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan komunikasi publik dengan masyarakat melalui publikasi yang informatif dan persuasif. Media publikasi (berupa poster, flyer dan stiker) berperan penting dalam melakukan komunikasi melalui peran visualisasi kepada masyarakat khususnya masyarakat di Desa Curug. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengkaji lebih dalam informasi yang diperoleh melalui teknik pengumpulan data kuisioner dari suatu sampel yang mewakili populasi masyarakat di Desa Curug.

Abstract

Now with the increasingly advanced development of digitalization, many young people are starting to develop their wings by maximizing the use of the internet and social media. It's just that the majority of the use of new media is only limited to entertainment and information media. Even though there are many other advantages of social media that can be utilized optimally. This is what then encourages UBSI lecturers of Hospitality study program to hold community service activities for Youth Karang Taruna, Perwira Village, North Bekasi with a socialization model that carries the theme of novice content creators in the development of creative industries. In addition, there are also many community service participants who still lack information and understanding about content creators that are sustainable with the creative industry. The existence of community service this time with the socialization method is expected to provide additional references for today's millennial youth who mostly consume social media. Youth Karang Taruna is currently expected to be able to improve knowledge not only from formal education but from their participation with youth institutions/institutions in the surrounding environment so that they can maximize the culture of creativity and entrepreneurs in their youth.

Abstract

Para pelaku industri penyiaran televisi dituntut memiliki kemampuan dalam membuat suatu strategi agar masyarakat tetap tertarik menyaksikan televisi. Literasi dapat diartikan secara sederhana sebagai “kemampuan”, dalam konteks ini kemampuan televisi menciptakan strategi kreatif dalam content, informasi maupun berbagai program siaran yang inovatif. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi, sehingga dapat menjawab gambaran kreativitas seperti apa yang memungkinkan masyarakat minati saat ini. Hasil penelitian merupakan suatu pandangan yang menyatakan bahwa, content yang memiliki kreativitas menarik akan sangat menggugah minat masyarakat di era 4.0 dalam menonton televisi dan menjadikan segi/sudut pandang content yang paling utama. Hal tersebut dikarenakan content yang menyuguhkan banyak informasi apapun dan dikemas secara sederhana akan terlihat tetap menarik, terlebih jika menampilkan unsur budaya atau content lokal maka akan menambah nilai content tersebut.
