Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 sedang melanda seluruh dunia yang memberikan dampak besar dalam pendidikan. Hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi calon guru matematika yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah microteaching untuk bisa menerapkan secara langsung teori yang diperoleh ke sekolah mitra. Selain itu kompetensi guru yang cukup berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran daring ataupun blended yaitu kompetensi pedagogis. Karena beralihnya tatap muka di kelas secara langsung bergeser menjadi tatap maya di kelas-kelas virtual. Oleh karena itu, calon guru matematika perlu menguasai aspek-aspek yang ada dalam kompetensi pedagogis tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 29 subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu calon guru matematika atau mahasiswa praktikan pengenalan lingkungan persekolahan (PLP) FKIP Universitas Pekalongan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu dari 7 aspek kompetensi pedagogis calon guru matematika telah menguasai semua dengan baik. Meskipun banyak kendala yang dihadapi, seperti jaringan internet dan kuota serta kendala teknis lainnya. Selanjutnya perlu diteliti lebih mendalam terkait materi ajar beserta rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang digunakan calon guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring atau blended.

Abstract

There is a relationship between mathematical problem-solving ability and student self-regulated learning. Data collection using trigonometric comparison math problems and self-regulated learning questionnaires. The subjects in this study were students of class 10th at senior high school 1 Doro. They were taking research subjects based on the category of student self-regulated learning consisting of low, medium, and high levels. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Four indicators of problem-solving ability are used, including understanding the problem, designing problem-solving strategies, performing calculations, and looking back at the problem-solving results. The results indicate that students with a high level of self-regulated learning have problem-solving abilities that tend to be better. Students with high self-regulated learning can meet the indicators of problem-solving ability at the stage of understanding the problem. They are less able at stages to design problem-solving strategies and perform calculations. The finding is that the subject cannot meet the step of looking back on problem-solving. Second, students with moderate self-regulated learning have problem-solving abilities that tend to be quite good. Students in moderate self-regulated learning have not been fully able to meet the indicators of problem-solving ability in understanding the problem. They are unable to complete the other problem-solving stages. Third, students with low levels of self-regulated learning have problem-solving abilities that tend to be less good. Students in this category cannot meet the four indicators of problem-solving ability.

Abstract

Our activity aims to assist 8th-grade students at SMP Plus Muhammadiyah Doro in learning Geometry using tangram teaching aids. This is related to the lack of enthusiasm some students feel during the learning process, especially in Geometry. The community service activity was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, using lectures, discussions, experiments, and demonstrations. The instruments used include questionnaires given to students before and after the activity. The results of this activity show that: 1) almost all students contend that teachers now need tangrams to help in explaining teaching materials in Plane Geometry; 2) almost all students are interested in the tangrams, which is due to their ease of making and using; 3) almost all students contend that tangrams can help them to train their understanding of mathematical concepts, especially in plane figures; 4) most students believe that tangrams can enhance their motivation to learn.

Abstract

Abstract: Game-based learning technology has many advantages and can overcome the low literacy, numeracy skills, and interest in learning of Bandengan 02 elementary school students. However, the resources owned have not been maximally utilized by teachers. So it is necessary to provide assistance in preparing game-based learning technology for teachers. Teachers who are able to develop game-based learning can improve literacy, numeracy, and student interest in learning in the classroom. The method of implementing community service is service learning (SL). Service learning is a learning method that prioritizes service, both to oneself, to others, and to the environment. The assistance provided was in the form of  preparation of a Google Site and Wordwall for learning by teachers of SDN Bandengan 02, numeracy learning assistance in the classroom; and literacy learning assistance in the classroom. The implementation team, consisting of three lecturers and two students, divided the tasks for each of the program plans. The results of the implementation of the activities obtained  an increase in literacy skills by 16% and numeracy by 26% for students of SDN Bandengan 02, and  90% of SDN Bandengan 02 teachers were able to develop a personalized Google Site to facilitate students' independent learning. Keyword: google site; learning technology; literacy; numeracy; service learning  Abstrak: Teknologi pembelajaran berbasis permainan memiliki banyak keunggulan serta mampu mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan literasi, numerasi dan minat belajar siswa SD Bandengan 02. Akan tetapi sumber daya yang dimiliki belum maksimal dimanfaatkan oleh guru. Sehingga perlu adanya pendampingan penyusunan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis permainan untuk guru. Guru yang mampu Menyusun pembelajaran berbasis permainan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, numerasi serta minat belajar siswa di kelas. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yaitu service learning (SL). Service Learning merupakan sebuah metode pembelajaran yang mengutamakan sebuah pelayanan, baik pelayanan terhadap diri sendiri, terhadap orang lain, maupun terhadap lingkungan. Pendampingan yang dilakukan berupa, penyusunan Google Site dan Wordwall untuk pembelajaran oleh guru SDN Bandengan 02, pendampingan pembelajaran numerasi di kelas, pendampingan pembelajaran literasi di kelas. Tim pelaksana yang terdiri dari tiga dosen dan dua mahasiswa membagi tugas untuk masing-masing rencana program tersebut. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan diperoleh yaitu  peningkatan kemampuan literasi sebesar 16% dan numerasi sebesar 26% untuk siswa-siswa SDN Bandengan 02, dan  90% Guru-guru SDN Bandengan 02 mampu menyusun Google Site pribadi untuk memfasilitasi siswa belajar secara mandiri. Kata kunci: google site; literasi; numerasi; service learning; teknologi pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to develop bilingual getrans teaching aids that can be used to visualise the concept of geometry transformation. The urgency of this research lies in the effort to facilitate students' understanding of abstract concepts in geometric transformations where the development of getrans teaching aids allows students to learn actively, involving physical and visual, which is believed to improve understanding and retention of concepts. Utilizing the 4D model, the Research and Development (R&D) approach is applied. The four phases of the 4D development model are defined, designed, developed, and disseminated. The findings showed that students had trouble grasping the idea of geometric transformation at the define stage. At the design stage, preparation for the development of bilingual getrans teaching aids was carried out. At the development stage, getrans props were made as well as validation of video results by experts and limited trials to students. Then at the dissemination stage, the revised video results were disseminated based on expert advice. The conclusion of this research is that bilingual getrans teaching aids can be used for learning mathematics which students can better understand changes in position, rotation, reflection, or dilation of objects in geometry with better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas IX pada materi kesebangunan di SMPN 2 Pekalongan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas IX E yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan literasi matematis yang berupa lima soal uraian yang telah divalidasi oleh dosen ahli. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan tiga indikator literasi matematis yaitu kemampuan mengubah permasalahan menjadi model matematika, menerapkan algoritma dan struktur matematika, serta menginterpretasikan dan mengevaluasi hasil ke dalam konteks nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kemampuan literasi matematis siswa sebesar 51 dengan standar deviasi 16,1. Kategori kemampuan literasi matematis siswa terdistribusi sebagai berikut: 15,1% siswa berkategori tinggi, 66,7% berkategori sedang, dan 18,2% berkategori rendah. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa mayoritas siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menerapkan konsep matematis pada situasi kontekstual, terutama pada tahap interpretasi dan evaluasi hasil penyelesaian.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa pada materi logaritma yaitu siswa kurang memahami sifat-sifat logaritma untuk menyelesaikan soal logaritma sehingga diperlukan media agar mempermudah siswa mempelajari materi tersebut. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan belajar logaritma kepada siswa dengan menggunakan media Pokema. Media Pokema merupakan media pembelajaran matematika yang terdiri dari petunjuk penggunaan, materi logaritma, kartu-kartu berisi soal-soal logaritma dan kunci jawaban. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah siswa MA Tholabudin Masin berjumlah 20 orang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Service Learning yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap investigasi dan perencanaan, tindakan, refleksi, dan demontrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu rata-rata kemampuan siswa pada materi logaritma berbeda sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendampingan. Selain itu sebanyak 85% siswa berpendapat media pokema menarik minat siswa untuk belajar logaritma.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak which has an impact on the learning system in schools. Learning that is generally done face-to-face has been converted into online learning. This has an impact on the low learning achievement, because the character of students is still dependent on the teacher in receiving the material completely. Therefore, a research was conducted which aims to determine the effect of self-regulated learning and creativity learning on mathematics learnng achievement in online learning of seventh grade students SMP Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. The data were obtained through a questionnaire on self-regulated leaning and a questionnaire on creativity learning and a learning achievement test. The data analysis technique consisted of prerequisite analysis, simple regression analysis and multiple regression. The results show that (1) there was a significant effect of self-regulated learning on learning achievement with the effect was 33.3%, (2) there was a significant effect of creativity learning on learning achievement with the effect was 14.0%, and (3) there was a significant effect of self-regulated leaning and creativity learning collectively on learning achievement with the effect was 33.4%.

Abstract

Publikasi karya ilmiah telah menjadi salah satu tuntutan bagi mahasiswa jenjang Sarjana. Beberapa tantangan dalam melakukan publikasi karya ilmiah adalah kurangnya kemampuan dalam menulis artikel dan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap proses editorial dari jurnal maupun seminar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian berupa pendampingan bagi mahasiswa PMTK Unikal ini dilaksanakan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melalui tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan angket menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 88% mahasiswa menjadi terampil dalam menulis artikel, dan sebanyak 85% mahasiswa menjadi paham mengenai sistem kerja OJS 3.0 yang umum digunakan oleh pengelola jurnal maupun seminar. Diperoleh pula informasi mengenai kendala yang dialami oleh mahasiswa selama mengikuti Sandika ke-6, yang sebagian besar terjadi pada tahap submitting artikel.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ mathematical critical thinking skills, as indicated by the results of PISA, TIMSS, and observations conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Pekalongan. One effort to address this problem is through the implementation of a Problem-Based Learning model assisted by microlearning videos. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by microlearning videos on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of KKTP mastery and the differences in the average mathematical critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning. This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population consisted of eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Pekalongan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The samples were selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and an essay test consisting of four questions on the coefficient of determination material based on Facione’s critical thinking indicators, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. Data analysis was conducted using the proportion test (z-test) and the mean difference test (t-test). The results showed that more than 70% of students in the experimental class achieved scores above the KKTP (>70). In addition, the t-test results indicated that the average mathematical critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by microlearning videos was effective in improving students’ mathematical critical thinking skills.
