Abstract

This study aims to design an agility test instrument based on sensor technology that is specifically designed to suit the conditions of pencak silat athletes in the field. This research method is Research and Development with the research development steps Borg and Gall. The sample for the small-scale trial was 100 people, while the large-scale trial sample was 120 people. The sample of this study were athletes at Padang State University aged 19-23 years. Based on the development, the resulting tool is a prototype in the form of a rectangular 8 measuring 1x1 M and has 8 sensors in each corner which functions to calculate the number of steps of the athlete's stance which describes his agility. Expert validation shows that the percentage of the assessment is 91% which means that this measuring instrument has the category of "Good/feasible". Reliability with thetechnique test and retest obtained the r value of small and large group trials for men and women with the "High" category, obtained a practical value of 88.75%, the effectiveness value of 95%. The conclusion is that this instrument is good to use as a measuring tool to measure agility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh dan perbedaan metode bermain dan metode latihan terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes siswa SMP Negeri 24 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 24 Padang yang duduk pada kelas VIII sebanyak 252 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 62 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan pengukuran terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t dependent sample.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh metode bermain secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes dengan nilai thitung = 7,32 > ttabel = 2,03 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh; 2) terdapat pengaruh metode latihan secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes dengan  uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung = 13,61 > ttabel = 2,04, dan kebenarannya diterima secara empiris; dan 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh metode bermain dengan metode latihan terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes siswa SMP Negeri 24 Padang, dengan  thitung = 0,17 < ttabel = 2,81. Hal ini berarti bahwa hipotesis penelitian tidak dapat diterima secara empiris. Kata-kata kunci: metode bermain, metode latihan dan hasil belajar

Abstract

Leg muscle power is a combination of strength and speed, or maximal muscle performance at maximum speed. At this time the measurement of leg muscle power is still using manual tools that require a lot of people, and the measurement of leg muscle power is still lacking the jump distance. Based on the problems obtained, the author makes a production Android-based measurement design of leg muscle power. This study aims to determine the performance and specifications of Android-based measurement design of leg muscle power. This research is an engineering study to determine the performance specifications and design of an android-based leg muscle strength measurement tool. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, the performance and design specifications of the tool are obtained. The performance specifications of the tool acquire the mechanical shape of the tool. The tool will automatically measure the strength of the leg muscles, and the measurement results can be viewed via Android. The design specifications are obtained from the characteristics of the sensor, accuracy and precision of the tool. Sensor characteristics can be seen from the load cell and ultrasonic sensors. The accuracy level of the leg muscle explosive power measurement tool obtained is 98.06%, and the instrument precision level obtained is 95.30%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an interactive multimedia on Pencak Silat materials using the application Macromedia Flash 8 for grade VIII and to find out the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of learning media using Macromedia Flash 8. The development model used in this study is the development model of Borg and Gall. Applications based on the results of the validity test from the material experts obtained a value of 4.33 in the "Valid" category so that the material was declared good to use. From the results of the validity testing of media experts, it was obtained a value of 4.09 with the category "Valid". So that it can be concluded that this learning media is feasible and can be tested. Furthermore, based on the practicality test obtained an average of 4.05 with the category "Practical". The results of the effectiveness test, the results of tcount> ttable are 2.12> 1.73. So that it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia learning of Pencak Silat material grade VIII using the application of Macromedia Flash 8 is practical and effectively used as a learning media for Pencak Silat

Abstract

Salah satu komponen penting yang dimiliki oleh seorang petarung adalah kecepatan. Dimana ciri-cirinya cepat, mengikuti pola gerakan dalam pencak silat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang alat uji kecepatan khusus yang dikembangkan untuk pencak silat dengan target dinamis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan uji yang mengadopsi langkah-langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall, yaitu 10 tahapan penelitian dalam pengembangan produk. Pengujian dilakukan mulai dari skala laboratorium hingga pengujian di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan validasi ahli dan uji reliabilitas desain. Tenaga ahli yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli evaluasi dan tes pengukuran olahraga, ahli pencak silat dan ahli teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 91%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan instrumen kecepatan tendangan dengan target dinamis berada pada kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the interval training method on increasing VO2Max capacity. There are many methods that can increase a person's VO2Max Capacity, including the interval training method. This type of research is a quasi-experimental conducted on badminton athletes at State University of Padang. The population of this study was badminton athletes who joined the sport activity unit of State University of Padang badminton, totaling 21 people. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. This technique is carried out based on the consideration of the researcher. So the number of samples in this study was 10 people. The data collection technique used is VO2Max, namely the Bleep Test. The data that has been collected is used to test the hypothesis using the t test. before the t-test is carried out, the analysis requirements test is carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity ui test. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test statistics can be concluded as follows: The interval method significantly affects the increase in VO2Max capacity where it is obtained tcount (14.18) > t table (2.26) and the mean difference is 2.41. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the interval training method on increasing the VO2Max capacity of badminton athletes in the State University of Padang sports activity unit.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop self-assessment in physical education, sports and volleyball, using an online form jotform for class X at SMA N 1 Batipuh. Based on observations made by researchers at SMA N 1 Batipuh, so that students are able to do a self-assessment on the physical education of the lower service volleyball which is difficult to understand the material and the achievement is not optimal and knows mistakes, making it easier for the teacher to make assessments and subsequent actions. This type of research is the development of the IDI model. The research subjects were 3 FIK UNP lecturers, one physical education teacher, and 31 students. The object of self-assessment research in the physical education of volleyball underserved using the jotform. The validity and practicality research data obtained directly are 86.76% very feasible, the practicality of teachers is 92.76% very feasible and practicality students for 90.77% are very valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a circuit method training program and the addition of natural energy ingredients, namely honey, to see its effect on the VO2 Max ability of UNP badminton athletes. There are many training methods to improve the athlete's VO2 Max ability, one of which is the circuit method. This type of research is experimental. This research was conducted at the UNP Badminton Court. The sample in this study amounted to 20 people. To measure the ability of VO2 Max is to use a multistage fitness test (bleep test). Hypothesis testing in this study was processed using descriptive and ineferential statistics with the sample-dependent comparative formula (t-test). Before the data is processed using the t test. From the results of the data analyzed using statistics, it can be concluded that the results of the hypothesis are as follows: There is a significant effect of Circuit Training Method without Honey on the VO2 Max Ability of Badminton Athletes where tcount = 14.18 and ttable (α = 0.05) = 2, 26 and the mean difference is 2.41. There is a Significant Effect of Circuit Training Method plus Honey on the VO2 Max Ability of Badminton Athletes where it is obtained that tcount = 22.61 and ttable (α = 0.05) = 2.26 and the average difference is 5.20. There is a difference in the effect between the circuit training method plus honey and the circuit training method without honey on the VO2 Max Ability of the Badminton Athletes in the Padang State University Sport Activity Unit where tcount = 6.28 and ttable (α = 0.05) = 2.26 and the average difference the average count is 2.45. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the effect of the circuit training method and honey has an effect on the VO2 Max ability of badminton athletes at the Padang State University Sports Activity Unit.

Abstract

Physical fitness is one of the most important things for elementary school students. Students who are fit will easily carry out activities without experiencing fatigue. Many factors affect fitness, one of which is the motor ability of students. This type of research is quantitative research using a correlational research design. The research sample is elementary school students totaling 34 students. The instrument used is the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test to measure students' physical fitness, and Motor Ability with a motor ability test. The data obtained were then analyzed by correlation analysis and simple regression. The results of data analysis showed that Motor ability contributed to the physical fitness of elementary school students by 64.32%, So, it can be concluded that the motor ability contributed to the physical fitness of elementary school students.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini kurangnya tingkat akurasi atlet Unit Kegiatan Petanque Universitas Negeri Padang yaitu rata-rata saat melalukan shooting dengan kesempatan 50 bola atlet tersebut hanya sekitar 15-20 target yang tepat sasaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh media latihan dan konsentrasi bermain terhadap akurasi shooting atlet Unit Kegiatan Petanque Universitas Negeri Padang Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen yang menggunakan rancangan treatment by Level 2 x 2, yaitu suatu eksperimen factorial yang menyangkut dua faktor. Sampel penelitian ini adalah atlet Unit Kegiatan Petanque Universitas Negeri Padang yang berjumlah 16 orang. Data konsentrasi bermain diukur dengan menggunakan Grid Concentration, dan untuk mengukur akurasi shooting menggunakan tes shooting game, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengujian persyaratan analisis data. Karena tidak ditemukan interaksi antara media latihan dan konsentrasi bermain maka tidak dilanjutkan dengan Uji Tukey.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh anatara media latihan cone dan media latihan tali terhadap akurasi shooting petanque, (2) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara media latihan cone, media tali dan konsentrasi bermain terhadap akurasi shooting atlet Unit Kegiatan petanque Universitas Negeri Padang.
