Abstract

Tangan sering terkontaminasi mikroba dan virus ke dalam tubuh yang dapat menyebabkan penyakit. Dengan adanya penyebaran virus corona semakin meluas di berbagai negara termasuk Indonesia maka perlu pencegahan. Sehingga, perlu adanya alat cuci tangan otomatis yang terdiri kran air, kran sabun, dan kran handsanitizer. Pembuatan alat kran pencuci tangan dengan debit keluaran air berdasarkan jarak tangan, takaran sabun dan handsanitizer secara otomatis, agar dapat digunakan dengan mudah, efisien dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam rancangan alat ini menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 sebagai pengolah data, 3 sensor proximity optic digunakan untuk mendeteksi objek tangan, sabun, dan handsanitizer yang bekerja pada tegangan 4,92 volt sebagai input dan relay output untuk menghidupkan pompa DC pada alat ini digunakan untuk mengeluarkan atau menyemprotkan cairan di dalam tabung pada tegangan 4,92 volt. Hasil pengujian berjalan diharapkan, sensor proximty membaca suatu objek tangan jarak 10 cm sampai 20 cm, Sedangkan jumlah sabun cuci cair dikeluarkan 1,8 ml dan handsanitizer sebanyak 2,8 ml.

Abstract

For Muslims, apart from places of worship, mosques or prayer rooms are also a form of unity, brotherhood and become the center of activity for Muslims. Congregational prayers that are carried out in mosques or in prayer rooms are not only intended for worship, but can also foster a sense of brotherhood and solidarity among Muslims. Our community service from several lecturers at Universitas Harapan Medan is by providing an automatic handwashing device. This socialization aims to make it easier for people to wash their hands automatically at the Baitur Rahim prayer room. The result of this community service is a useful tool for the community to use in washing their hands without touching the water faucet.

Abstract

Solar cells are the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy which can be used in various tools such as lawn mowers in fields and parks. The use of lawn mowers so far still uses energy that is used up or cannot be renewed, for example petroleum or other fuels. And what is often found among the public still uses fuel oil (BBM). Based on these things, a grass cutting machine was designed whose current source was taken from sunlight as a power source to run the DC motor on the grass cutter, so as to reduce air pollution or the sound generated by the machine to create environmentally friendly. Electricity from an electric lawn mower sourced from the sun is absorbed directly by the 20WP solar cell, which will flow to the solar charge controller to control the charging of the 12V battery. not available, from the battery the current flows to the potentiometer which functions to regulate the speed of the cutting blade on the lawn mower, after going through the potentiometer the current flows to the switch which functions to turn off and start the lawn mower, after passing through the switch the current flows to the 12V DC motor which functions to move the lawn mower blade . Electric lawn mowers are very suitable for people who prioritize environmental cleanliness and comfort, because this lawn mower is very environmentally friendly and quieter to use.

Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat di Indonesia bermata pencaharian sebagai petani. Di beberapa daerah masih ada yg belum menyentuh aspek teknologi tepat guna yang efektif untuk mendukung pertanian. Salah satu teknologi yang perlu di kembangkan di pertanian adalah alat sprayer manual yang menggunakan pompa DC dan sel surya sebagai pengecas baterai. Pengembangan ini di perlukan karena mayoritas masyarakat masih menggunakan alat sprayer manual, yang membuat penyemprotan tidak merata pada tanaman dan membuat cukup menguras tenaga dalam pemakaiannya atau pengoperasiaanya. Atas dasar ini dilakukan perancangan alat spayer manual menjadi spayer yang menggunakan tenaga baterai yang dapat melakukan penyemprotan secara merata pada tanaman dan juga mempercepat dalam penyemprotan. Dalam merancang alat ini menggunakan beberapa bahan yaitu tabung sprayer manual dengan kapasitas 15 liter, baterai sebagai sumber tegangan dengan tengangan 12 volt yang akan menyuplai tengangan pompa DC, pompa DC sebagai pemompa air dari tabung spayer yang membutuhkan tengangan dari baterai supaya bisa bekerja, pontesiometer sebagai pengatur kecepatan tekanan air dan juga menggunakan panel surya 20 WP sebagai penyuplai tegangan sementara pada pompa dan juga sebagai pengecas baterai.

Abstract

Pengadaan energi listrik dilakukan oleh sistem tenaga listrik yang mencakup sistem pembangkitan, transmisi, dan distribusi. Sistem proteksi yang dipakai di Rumah Sakit Bunda Thamrin adalah kubikel, yaitu rangkaian peralatan lisitrik yang dipasang pada garduk induk. Langkah RS untuk mengatasi ketidakstabilan pasokan listrik  dengan mengunakan generator set (genset), guna memandukan pasokan listrik untuk peralatan medis yang berkaitan langsung dengan keselamatan pasien. Genset diperlukan di ruang pemeriksaan radiologi untuk cadangan listrik, dengan waktu peralihan 15 detik, distribusi energi listrik ke komsumen merupakan aspek kunci dalam keandalan sistem kelistrikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, studi observasi, dan metode wawancara. RS Bunda Thamrin menggunakan sistem radial dengan sumber utama untuk mensuplai listrik berasal dari PLN. Memiliki 2 Generator Set (Genset) sebagai sumber listrik cadangan. Penulis merekomendesikan agar RS Bunda Thamrin memudahkan perawatan dan pemeriksaan tegangang, ampere, dan daya dengan memasang setiap panel MDP dan SDP tiap lantai, serta alat ukur Volt meter.

Abstract

The grounding system in substations generally uses electrode rods, because electrodes can affect the effectiveness of fault current conduction, so the equipment will be safer. Considering the importance of the grounding system, the installed grounding system must be considered and maintained properly. One of them is the grounding found in Glugur. The main objective of this research is to comprehensively evaluate the substation grounding system by modeling the grounding system at the Glugur Substation using MATLAB graphical user interface (GUI). The grounding resistance follows a grid system with an area of 20×15=300 m² with specific resistance being clay using 100 rod electrodes. From the results of ground resistance simulation modeling using MATLAB GUI, it can be concluded as follows: for a certain resistance value, the number of electrodes for 100 Ωm is 3.55 Ω, for ground resistance with a constant depth and a varying number of 100 electrodes, it is 3.45 Ω, and for. The grounding resistance with a constant and varying number of 1,000 rods is obtained at 2.65 Ω. From these results, the modeling carried out is in accordance with the standards of electricity regulations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nowadays technology has developed rapidly, many electronic devices have been created to help or make human work easier. This can be seen in developments at the beginning of the 21st century where humans have been able to create communication devices that do not use cables, such as cell phones, and also computers that are packaged and made so that they can be carried by users, such as laptops. Likewise with industrial equipment as well as home industrial equipment such as equipment for separating or roasting coffee and also automatic coffee drying equipment. One piece of equipment that is no less popular for housewives and home businesses is equipment for cutting cassava. The design of an automatic cassava cutting tool is useful for helping home industry activities. Just put the cassava in the tube and automatically the motor connected to the cutting knife will rotate and will automatically stop at the predetermined timer.

In Karangtaruna School Dropout Youth Training activities in Kotamatsum IV, Medan Area Medan City District has a very dense population, motivated by various tribes, different livelihoods and low parental education. As for the level of life there are still many who live below the average, with poor conditions, where parents are unable to pay for adolescents for school, causing many teenagers who drop out of school and unemployed .. Abstract

AbstractThe introduction of oil spinner machines at SMK Negeri 04 Medan is part of a community service program that aims to improve students' knowledge and skills in the field of oil processing technology. An oil spinner machine is a tool used for the process of separating oil from raw materials, which has important applications in the food processing industry and agricultural raw materials. This program is carried out in the form of workshops and direct demonstrations involving students and teachers of SMK Negeri 04 Medan. The main objective of this activity is to provide an in-depth understanding of the function, working principle, and operation of oil spinner machines, as well as the benefits of this technology in industry. In addition, participants are given the opportunity to operate the machine directly and understand its practical application in the oil production process. During the activity, the material presented includes an explanation of the working principle of the oil spinner machine and its role in the oil processing process. Direct practice using an oil spinner machine to process various raw materials and see the results. Information on machine maintenance and safety procedures during operation. The results of this community service show an increase in students' understanding of oil processing technology as well as an increase in practical skills in using oil spinner machines. This activity also provides insight into career opportunities in the oil processing industry and helps prepare students to enter the workforce with relevant technical skills. Overall, this program successfully achieved its objectives and had a positive impact on engineering education at SMK Negeri 04 Medan, as well as strengthening the relationship between educational institutions and industry.

Abstract

Hidroponik adalah metode pertanian modern tanpa tanah yang bergantung pada pengendalian parameter lingkungan seperti pH, nutrisi, dan kelembaban untuk menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman secara optimal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan sistem hidroponik berbasis logika fuzzy dan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pengelolaan parameter secara efisien dan presisi. Sistem ini memanfaatkan sensor untuk memantau kondisi lingkungan secara real-time, algoritma logika fuzzy untuk mengolah data dan mengambil keputusan, serta aktuator untuk mengontrol suplai nutrisi, pH, dan kelembaban secara otomatis. Teknologi IoT memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau dan mengendalikan sistem melalui perangkat pintar dari lokasi yang jauh. Implementasi sistem ini menunjukkan kemampuan dalam menjaga parameter lingkungan dalam batas optimal dengan tingkat presisi yang tinggi. Selain itu, rancangan ini menawarkan efisiensi operasional, pengurangan kesalahan manusia, serta kemudahan dalam pengelolaan pertanian hidroponik. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teknologi hidroponik cerdas yang berkelanjutan dan mendukung inovasi pertanian di era digital.
