Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membuat kemajuan pada Artificial Intelligence (AI) semakin banyak dimanfaatkan untuk mempermudah mencari informasi, termasuk dalam bidang edukasi teknologi komputer, salah satunya pada toko Micro Batam. Seiring meningkatnya permintaan, toko menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam layanan konsultasi teknis, seperti masih dilakukannya tanya jawab secara manual, keterbatasan waktu dan tenaga kerja yang menyebabkan antrean panjang, serta sulitnya menjawab pertanyaan teknis secara cepat. Selain itu, layanan belum tersedia di luar jam operasional. Sehingga dibutuhkanlah sebuat Chatbot AI yang dapat menjawab pertanyaan seputar perakitan komputer secara langsung melalui platform WhatsApp. Chatbot ini dirancang dengan memanfaatkan Google Sheet untuk menyimpan dan pembacaan data oleh AI Agent serta untuk memahami dan merespons pertanyaan pengguna menggunakan teknologi Natural Language Processing (NLP). Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan model Waterfall dan diuji dengan metode Black Box Testing. Hasil menunjukkan chatbot mampu mempercepat layanan, mengurangi beban staf, dan dapat diakses 24 jam. Data interaksi juga membantu dalam penyesuaian produk dan strategi pemasaran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa chatbot ini mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan cukup akurat dan membantu pengguna, khususnya pemula, dalam memahami spek-spek komputer. Secara keseluruhan, solusi ini terbukti efektif dalam menyediakan layanan informasi yang praktis dan mudah diakses di bidang edukasi teknologi.

Abstract

Cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important issue in the digital era due to the rise in threats and attacks on information systems. One innovative technology with great potential to enhance cybersecurity is smart contracts. This article discusses the application of smart contracts in detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats. With their automatic, transparent, and immutable nature, smart contracts can be used to manage threat responses in real-time, improve attack detection efficiency, and minimize the risk of human error. This study also explores use cases such as secure data access management, blockchain-based anomaly detection, and incident response automation. Furthermore, implementation challenges such as scalability, interoperability, and smart contract code vulnerabilities are also addressed to provide a comprehensive overview. Through the integration of smart contracts into cybersecurity, this article concludes that this technology holds great potential to strengthen information systems' resilience against increasingly complex and dynamic threats.

Abstract

PT Digital Artisan Solusindo faces challenges in efficiently producing relevant, SEO-friendly digital content due to time and resource constraints. This community service project aimed to design and build a prototype application for auto-generating content to address this issue. The application integrates two key technologies: Google Trends, used to identify real-time popular topics, and the Gemini AI Large Language Model (LLM), which automatically generates articles based on these trends. The development process followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, encompassing requirements analysis through interviews, system design using flowcharts and use case diagrams, implementation with PHP and the Laravel framework featuring the Laravel Horizon queue manager, and functional testing. The result is a functional prototype deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. It can automatically fetch trends, process them into prompts, generate content via Gemini AI, and store it in a database. This prototype provides a successful solution for automating content creation at PT Digital Artisan Solusindo, saving time and resources, and holds the potential to be developed into a new, innovative service product

Abstract

Ransomware attacks have emerged as a significant threat to computer security in the digital age. This research aims to analyze ransomware attacks within the context of cybersecurity, specifically focusing on the impact of such attacks on an organization's database infrastructure. The study involves simulating ransomware attacks using techniques commonly employed by attackers in real-world scenarios. It includes a comprehensive literature review, case observations of previous ransomware attacks, and system simulations to understand the nature of these attacks and their potential consequences. The research highlights the need for effective mitigation strategies to safeguard critical organizational infrastructure and provide insights into strengthening defenses against ransomware. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and sustainable cybersecurity strategies to address the growing complexity of cyber threats and ensure the operational continuity of organizations.Keywords: Ransomware attacks, Cybersecurity, Database infrastructure

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires digital service systems to have high performance and optimal availability. One of the main challenges in managing web-based services is the system's ability to deal with an unpredictable surge in the number of users. If not anticipated, this can cause a decrease in performance and even detrimental downtime. This study aims to analyze and implement the concept of auto scaling and load balancing in an effort to improve the performance and availability of web-based services. Auto scaling functions to automatically adjust the number of server resources according to workload needs, while load balancing plays a role in distributing network traffic evenly to several servers. The research method used is an experiment, by implementing and testing service performance before and after the implementation of auto scaling and load balancing. The test results show that the combination of the two technologies is able to increase the speed of service response, reduce server load, and maintain optimal service availability. This research is expected to be a reference in the development of reliable and efficient cloud-based systems.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has had a significant impact, one of which is as a medium for transmitting information from one place to another, making information access easier for many people. However, the ease of access to communication media also poses challenges for information security, as information becomes more vulnerable to being accessed, stolen, or manipulated by irresponsible parties. To protect the confidentiality of information, specific methods are needed, one of which is cryptography. In cryptography, there are various algorithms, including DES, AES, IDEA, Blowfish, Twofish, and RC4. This research aims to compare the performance of several cryptographic algorithms in the data encryption and decryption processes, focusing on processing speed and the size of the encrypted file. The results of the research show differences in processing time and file size of encrypted and decrypted data for each algorithm. Keywords: Aglorithms, Decryption, Encryption.

Abstract

Kegiatan kerja praktik ini bertujuan untuk membantu CV. Sumber Karya Pemta, sebuah usaha penyewaan mobil di Kota Batam, dalam meningkatkan eksistensi digitalnya melalui perancangan dan implementasi website company profile. Di era transformasi digital, keberadaan media online menjadi kunci dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan. Website yang dikembangkan mencakup informasi layanan, galeri kendaraan, testimoni pelanggan, dan integrasi pemesanan via WhatsApp. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, serta studi dokumentasi untuk menganalisis kebutuhan mitra, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perancangan struktur halaman, desain antarmuka pengguna (UI/UX), dan implementasi sistem menggunakan teknologi web modern. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa website yang dibangun bersifat responsif, profesional, dan mudah diakses melalui berbagai perangkat. Mitra memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap hasil proyek karena website terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan efektivitas promosi. Dengan adanya website ini, CV. Sumber Karya Pemta kini memiliki sarana digital yang mendukung peningkatan daya saing dan efisiensi bisnis di era digital.

Abstract

In the digital age, networks are an important factor for implementing communication and exchanging information. Campus networks, which are private networks specifically designed for a particular institution, are essential for the institution because they provide access to the necessary information and services. However, campus networks are also vulnerable to security threats such as cybercrime and malware attacks. Firewall implementation can minimize these threats by controlling access to network services. Pundi Mas Berjaya (PMB), a company that provides software solutions to the global market, requires a highly available and redundant campus network. This research uses Cisco Packet Tracer to design and configure the network required by PMB. Implementing a highly available and redundant campus network with a hierarchical network model will improve the performance of the PMB campus network connectivity and security.

Abstract

Peningkatan konsumsi internet di Indonesia dari 2018 hingga kuartal pertama 2022 menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang signifikan, dengan jumlah pengguna aktif mencapai 210 juta dari total populasi sebesar 272,682 juta. Angka ini mencerminkan penetrasi internet sebesar 77,02%. Internet menjadi layanan yang sangat penting karena memberikan akses cepat dan efisien terhadap informasi. Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet, jumlah Penyedia Layanan Internet (ISP) yang tersedia juga bertambah. Ketersediaan dan kualitas layanan internet menjadi faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat dalam memanfaatkannya. Untuk mendukung kualitas layanan internet, manajemen bandwidth menjadi aspek yang krusial. Salah satu mekanisme yang digunakan adalah Load Balancing, yaitu metode untuk membagi beban lalu lintas jaringan melalui beberapa gateway yang tersedia sehingga tidak terfokus pada satu ISP. Dalam implementasinya, perangkat seperti pfSense, OPNsense, dan flexiWAN sering digunakan sebagai solusi load balancer karena sifatnya yang open-source, fleksibel, dapat dikonfigurasi melalui antarmuka web, serta mendukung fungsi Load Balancing. Selain pfSense dan OPNsense, solusi inovatif seperti flexiWAN kini juga dapat diadopsi sebagai platform SD-WAN open-source yang menawarkan fleksibilitas tinggi dalam pengelolaan lalu lintas jaringan. Dengan kemampuan integrasi yang baik, flexiWAN memungkinkan perusahaan atau organisasi untuk mengoptimalkan jaringan mereka melalui manajemen lalu lintas yang canggih dan efisien. Penelitian ini membandingkan kinerja Load Balancing dari router pfSense, OPNsense, dan flexiWAN pada Bitbox Open Network Appliance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem load balancing pada pfSense memberikan kinerja lebih baik dibandingkan OPNsense berdasarkan nilai QoS, meskipun penggunaan resource CPU pada pfSense lebih tinggi. Sebaliknya, penggunaan RAM pada pfSense lebih rendah dibandingkan OPNsense. Kehadiran teknologi seperti flexiWAN dapat menjadi alternatif baru yang memberikan keunggulan tambahan dalam mendukung pengelolaan bandwidth secara optimal.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of ephemeral content on consumer engagement and trust by integrating quantitative and qualitative evidence through a sequential explanatory mixed-method approach. Quantitative data were collected from 201 active social media users using validated measurement scales for ephemeral content, engagement, and trust (Cronbach’s α = 0.882). The statistical analysis consists of Pearson correlation, validity testing, and simple regression. Results show that ephemeral content significantly predicts consumer engagement (β = 0.570, p < 0.001; R² = 0.32) and consumer trust (β = 0.620, p < 0.001; R² = 0.38). These R² values indicate moderate explanatory power, consistent with the correlation coefficients. The qualitative phase involved semi-structured interviews with 20 participants to explain the mechanisms underlying the statistical relationships. Thematic analysis reveals three psychological factors that shape consumer responses: (1) real-time urgency that triggers FoMO-driven attention, (2) authenticity generated through minimally edited and spontaneous content, and (3) interactive features that foster a sense of participation. Integration of both datasets shows that ephemeral content is effective not merely because of its temporary nature, but because it combines immediacy, emotional proximity, and interactive cues that enhance perceived credibility.
