Abstract

This research aims to find out how media framing and the impact obtained from media framing on the representation of women in the hardcore punk scene. This research reveals how media framing affects people's perceptions and understanding of women's representation in the hardcore punk scene and the impact of media framing on women's representation. The many roles of women in the hardcore scene, with the presence of female musicians and fans who actively contribute and bring new perspectives that enrich this music scene. This study uses a qualitative method to describe how media framing represents women in the hardcore punk scene through the website and social media use your voice using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis theory. As for the results of this study, women in the hardcore punk scene are faced with various obstacles and discrimination that must be addressed immediately through concrete actions to improve representation and gender equality in the hardcore punk scene.

Abstract

Currently, generation Z is literate about their education and career path in the future, where with the increasing cost of education in higher education, scholarships are the right solution. However, the fact in the mash field is that there are prospective students who do not know how to access scholarship information. Schoters is one of the providers of scholarship information and study abroad preparation guidance services. This research aims to find out how generation Z gets scholarships and the role of schoters that motivates generation Z to get scholarships. This study uses a qualitative research method with the theory of uses and gratification where currently it is no longer looking at the media to the audience, but what the audience does to the media, now individuals use mass communication to meet their needs. Where the result of this study is that schoters has succeeded in helping thousands of its students qualify for scholarships to study abroad as evidenced by the many success stories shared on schoters' social media, so it can be concluded that.

Abstract

The government is responsible for providing various aspects of state life, including services to meet health and education needs. The importance of this research is to determine how Perumdam Tirta Darma Ayu uses digital platforms to improve the capabilities of its human resources and solve unsolved problems. The headquarters of the Tirta Darma Ayu Regional Public Company for Drinking Water is the location of this qualitative research. This research collects data through interviews, documentation, and observation. Instead, this study uses the dimensions of strategy, human resource capacity, and service quality. Three suboptimal aspects: reliability, responsiveness, and empathy are the things that many customers complain about. experiencing problems with the complaint service information system that uses digital platforms. According to this study, public service human resources are still less able to use digital platforms. Therefore, the researcher suggests several methods, such as automating quality, building and developing a Service Information system, adding qualified technicians, providing instructions on how to communicate customer wishes, and providing clear and accurate information.

Abstract

An employee's performance is determined by how well they achieve the goals and criteria set by the organization or company they work for. In addition, employee performance consists of the results achieved by an employee in carrying out his or her obligations and responsibilities in the organization. The purpose of the study is to find out and analyze the extent to which communication has an impact on the effectiveness of employee work, and to find out and analyze the extent to which infrastructure facilities affect the effectiveness of employee work. The researchers used a qualitative descriptive methodology. The results of the study used organizational communication theory cited by Max Weber. The efficacy of internal communication has an impact on improving employee performance at the Cirebon City Hall Secretariat Office, based on the findings of this study. So it can be concluded that effective internal communication can build cooperation towards the achievement of company goals.

Abstract

This research examines the digital cultural production in the entertainment program "Tembang Pantura" on local television in Cirebon, Indonesia. The study explores how the program preserves local cultural heritage while adapting to contemporary digital entertainment trends. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews and observations of the production team, local artists, and the audience. The research focuses on how "Tembang Pantura" integrates traditional Cirebon elements such as the local language and tarling music with modern digital production techniques. The findings show that "Tembang Pantura" successfully preserves and promotes Cirebon's cultural heritage while appealing to a wide audience. The use of modern technology enhances the program’s accessibility and relevance in today’s media landscape. Moreover, the program fosters cultural identity by continuously adapting to technological advancements and audience preferences. In conclusion, "Tembang Pantura" serves as an important platform for promoting local culture through digital media, demonstrating how regional television programs can sustain cultural relevance in the digital era.

Abstract

One of the deviant acts that often occur and disturb the community is gambling. The act of gambling arises because of unstable conditions both in terms of religion, economy and morals. This study aims to determine the form or form of personality of online slot game players, especially among the community. In this study, the authors used a research method conducted with a qualitative. Based on the results of interviews with informants who play online slot games, it shows that they started playing online slot games through the scope of friendship or association. As a result, online slot games have become popular among the surrounding community. Even the players themselves realize that what they are doing is wrong and deviates from the norms of society. By using Freud's Psychoanalysis theory, there are 3 elements that influence human personality, namely Id, Ego and Superego. The element that has the most influence on the personality of online slot game players is Id. It can be concluded that the internet has an important role in the development of online gambling which affects individual personalities as well as the lives of society as a whole.

Abstract

The café is an interaction space for Social Drinkers to discuss and collaborate in making decisions and building business relationships, several businesses have been born from the communication carried out by Social Drinkers in Sanes Kape. Examples are Peony which is engaged in fashion and hijab, Nawaicrrative in advertising agencies, and Komunalab in social media handling. The café offers an atmosphere that supports productive social action. This study aims to analyze the social actions of Social Drinkers in Sanes Kape in building business relationships, identify the types of social actions carried out, explain the role of Sanes Kape as a social action space that supports the formation of business relationships, and obtain findings and conclusions that are useful for the development of cafes as social action spaces that are conducive to building business relationships. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach supported by Max Weber's theory of social action. The results of the study show that the interaction in this café reflects rational-instrumental, rational-value, and affective social actions in building strong business relationships. The findings show that Sanes Kape is a strategic place for Social Drinkers who want to build profitable business relationships.

Abstract

This study focuses on Kurnia Ngayuga Wibowo's experimental photography work Memory Lane, featured in several exhibitions, including the Permata Youth Photostory and the Bandung Photography Triennale. The artwork depicts the artist's imagination of Admiral Cheng Ho's arrival in Cirebon, using photography techniques and mixed media elements such as red thread and gold markers. This research aims to understand the artwork through art criticism using Edmund Burke Feldman's theory, which includes description, formal analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. This research employs a qualitative method with an in-depth analysis of the visual elements in the photographic work. The results indicate that Memory Lane is an example of experimental photography that combines various artistic elements to convey a historical narrative creatively. In conclusion, the work successfully provides a new perspective on experimental photography and highlights the importance of historical archiving through visual media.

Abstract

In the 20th century the digital era began to develop and when computer technology slowly began to enter various industries which then moved into the public domain, from the massive development of digitalization flows that always experienced a significant increase in users in all parts of the world, including in Indonesia in the use of digital channels so that eventually it became a digital communication. One of the digital channels that people need in everyday life is a social media platform where people use it to exchange information effectively and efficiently. Cyberbullying behavior or cases in Indonesia always increase every year because many of Instagram's social media users get cyberbullying treatment and a public figure is no exception. This study will look at the contestation of likes and dislikes from netizens or in this case lovers and haters that occur on Instagram social media, using the reciprocal determination model from Albert Bandura's social cognitive theory Researchers will see and observe how cyberbullying on Instagram social media continues to exist and seems to never end. Researchers will use a qualitative method approach used by researchers to study the state of an object and rely on a narrative approach from facts found during field observations, while the type of data used is more likely to be primary data obtained from literature tracing such as books, scientific journals, and news and observations that occur in existing phenomena and are related to research problems.
