Abstract

The purpose of the study is to observe students' entrepreneurial behaviors in the implementation of entrepreneurship processes in production subjects. The study applied production entrepreneurial teaching model to some vocational high school students with their ‘EkRenFaTiHa Catering’ as their project. The entrepreneur process was integrated in the catering production subject and it consisted of the following aspects: Exploration, business plans, facilitation, action and output. The study employed research and development approach, which referred to Plomp development model. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The research subjects were some students of 1 Sewon State Vocational High School. The results of the test on the model implementation show the students’ mastery of the entrepreneurial behaviors showing the characteristics of responsibility, innovation, honesty, independence, creativity, leadership, dilligence, discipline, cooperation, risk-taking and good communication. It also shows that there is a concrete improvement during the continuous process regarding every observed entrepreneurial behavior, and in general the students’ entrepreneurial behaviors could be classified as good.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the extent of pedagogical-competence of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta's students as prospective vocational teachers. It will serve as a measure of their readiness to become vocational teachers. The research method was a quantitative approach with a descriptive method to present the pedagogical-competence profile of the students from each study program. The research population was students from several educational study programs, namely Electronics, Mechanical, and Automotive. Samples of 175 students were taken from each study program's class. The pedagogical competence was evaluated using test questions which instruments have been validated by experts. The result shows that the average competence is 50,24. To breakdown this finding, the averages of pedagogical-competence are 44,71 and 50,60 for students in the 3rd and 5th semester, respectively. The comparison data for the averages of the 3rd to 5th-semester students in each study programs are as follows: Electronics are 54,80 to 46,45; Mechanical are 50, 24 and 54,91; and Automotive are 24,18 to 50,72Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seberapa jauh kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa calon guru teknik di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta sebagai ukuran kesiapan mereka untuk menjadi guru kejuruan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantatif dengen metode deskriptif untuk menunjukkan profil kompetensi pedagogi dari mahasiswa dari masing-masing program studi. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi PT. Elektronika, PT. Mesin, dan PT. Otomotif. Sampel diambil masing-masing prodi satu kelas yang berjumlah 175 mahasiswa. Kompetensi pedagogik diukur melalui tes dengan instrumen soal yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata 50,24. Secara rinci rerata mahasiswa semester 3: 44, 71 dan semester 5: 50,60. Prodi Elektronika rerata kompetensi pedagogi mahasiswa semester 3: 54,80 dan semester 5: 46,45; Mahasiswa Prodi PT Mesin, rerata skor semester 3: 50, 24 dan semester 5: 54,91; Mahasiswa Prodi PT Otomotif semester 3: 24,18 dan Semester 5: 50,72

Abstract

Abstrak: Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin (PTM) merupakan bagian dari Jurusan Pendidikan Teknologi Kejuruan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Beberapa tahun terakhir, program studi ini mengalami penurunan tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa. Hasil dari observasi atas dokumen mahasiswa diperoleh informasi penyebab menurunnya tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa adalah tugas perancangan mesin di mata kuliah perancangan mesin sulit diselesaikan para mahasiswa dalam 1 semester. Melalui penelitian studi kasus di salah satu Universitas di Indonesia penyelenggara program studi PTM, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat penyelesaian tugas perancangan mesin di Program Studi PTM. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif survey dengan analisis data menggunakan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang belum lulus mata kuliah perancangan mesin dengan jumlah 131 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan faktor penghambat terbesar terdapat pada teknik perkuliahan yang mempunyai nilai Standardized Loading Factor sebesar 1,15. Faktor ini mempunyai tiga variabel indikator yaitu a) Persiapan dan penyampaian materi; b) Pelatihan langsung; dan c) Model pembelajaran; variabel indikator paling berpengaruh adalah model pembelajaran dengan nilai Standardized Loading Factor sebesar 0,87.  Abstract: The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program is part of the Department of Vocational Technology Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. In recent years, this study program has experienced a decline in student graduation rates. The result of observing student data is that the cause of the decline in student graduation rates is that the task of designing machines in the machine design course is difficult for students to complete in 1 semester. This study aims to determine the inhibiting factors for completing the task of designing machines in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. This research method is a quantitative survey with data analysis using confirmatory factor analysis. The research subjects are students who have not passed the mechanical design course with a total of 131 students. The results showed that the biggest inhibiting factor was in the lecture technique which had a Standardized Loading Factor of 1.15. This factor has three indicator variables, namely a) Preparation and delivery of materials; b) hands-on training; and c) learning model; the most influential indicator variable is the learning model with a Standardized Loading Factor of 0.87.

Abstract

Online learning that is currently taking place causes problems because of the limited learning models that can be done online, so that it can reduce students' self-efficacy and motivation to learn. Learning with the help of Google Classroom is one solution that can be applied to online learning activities in order to increase self-efficacy and student learning motivation. This study aims to analyses the effect of the application of Google Classroom on increasing self-efficacy and student motivation in the Department of Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL). This research is a quasi-experimental study using a pretest-posttest design in the control class and the experimental class. The sample in this study amounted to 80 students from the Department of Electrical Power Installation Engineering. The observation method was used to collect data on self-efficacy and learning motivation during the pretest and posttest by using an instrument that was arranged based on indicators on the dependent variable. The data obtained were then tested for prerequisites and then the data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the use of Google Classroom proved significant in increasing students' self-efficacy and learning motivation in online learning activities for students of the Electrical Engineering Department. Learning activities with the help of Google Classroom are significantly superior to learning activities without the help of Google Classroom.

Abstract

This case study was carried out in 1998 by employing a qualitativinterpretive tradition to invstigate teacher’s conception of the nature of learning and teaching from the Active Learning point of view. The eight school were selected from kecamaan Sewon, Bantul and Kecamatan Umbulharjo Yogyakarta based on the Sub-district educaional Authority. Teachers selected to participate in this study were the best teachers in term of their impleentation of Active Learning in the classroom from each of those schools as recommended by the Principal. Data were gathered by interviewing teachers sample. The data gathered was transcribed then sent to the interviewee for validation, then coded and analyzed. The grounded theory principles of coding were used in analyzing data. This study identified three types of teacher’s conception of learning and teaching from Active Learning approach perspectives: the traditional views, process skill views and constructivist view. It is suggested for further research aimed at investigating to what extent are the teachers able to implement their beliefs and conception of the nature of learning ang teaching into classroom practice. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the implementation of BOS in Indonesia. This study used the evaluative-quantitative methods approach with the descriptive analysis. The results of the research are as follows; the context of the implementation is in category ineffective, the input of the implementation of the BOS program was in category effective, the process of the implementation of BOS has been running in category ineffective, and the number of respondents showing disagreement is more than agreement that means the implementation of BOS program was level ineffective. Fifth, there is an ineffective level of satisfaction.

Abstract

Occupational self-efficacy is believed to be an essential factor for optimizing mastery of cooking competencies for culinary students. Although there have been many studies examining the importance of self-efficacy, there are still limited studies that discuss how to measure the self-efficacy of cooking abilities for culinary vocational students. This study aims to develop and test the validity of the self-efficacy cooking skills questionnaire. This study involved 329 culinary students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data analysis uses Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to test the validity and reliability. The results of the study revealed that the occupational self-efficacy of cooking performance could be explained by four indicators, namely the enactive experience, model experience, social persuasion, and emotional conditions. This questionnaire has 16 items consisting of 4 items in each indicator. The results of this study have implications for industry and education practitioners to evaluate the achievement of mastery of students 'and chefs' cooking skills.

Beberapa tahun terakhir, tingkat kelulusan tepat waktu mahasiswa di Jurusan ini tergolong rendah. Hasil dari observasi atas dokumen mahasiswa diperoleh informasi penyebab menurunnya tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa adalah tugas mata kuliah tertentu yang sulit diselesaikan para mahasiswa dalam satu semester. Melalui penelitian studi kasus di salah satu Universitas di Indonesia penyelenggara Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat penyelesaian tugas mahasiswa dengan mengambil studi kasus pada mata kuliah perancangan mesin. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif survei dengan analisis data menggunakan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang belum lulus mata kuliah perancangan mesin dengan jumlah 131 mahasiswa. Abstract

Vocational education has a duty to help green industries and sustainable development in society. However, learning in vocational education still has many shortcomings that must be overcome, given the contribution of a sizable negative impact on the environment. The implementation of green skills in learning is very important as an effort to overcome these problems. This study analyzes the perceptions of teachers and students as learning practitioners towards the implementation of green skills in the form of activity behavior in learning. Ten teachers and eight students were involved as key informants in collecting data through semi-structured interview techniques. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically with the help of NVivo 12 Plus Software. The findings in this study are classified into three main aspects, namely green skills planning activities, green behavior activities during learning, and green skills implementation evaluation. Planning activities related to the formulation of green competency outcomes, infrastructure needs and student readiness. As long as its implementation is oriented towards the behavior of reuse, reduce, repair and recycle. The impact of green behavior that is generated is about student learning comfort, energy-saving behavior and the ability to develop green products. The perceived evaluation is related to improving learning methodologies and building collaboration in class or collaboration with stakeholders, including the green industry, the local green environment service. Besides that, strengthening the competence of green skills-based learning management is very important to do.

Abstract

Universitas Diponegoro merupakan universitas yang terletak di Kecamatan Tembalang, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Universitas Diponegoro memiliki berbagai macam program studi yang tersebar di 11 fakultas dan 2 sekolah vokasi. Kendala yang sedang dihadapi yaitu kurangnya informasi peta dan rambu penunjuk arah di kampus menyulitkan bagi mahasiswa yang menjadi hambatan dalam mencari lokasi dan informasi di area kampus. Dengan kebutuhan besar akan peta kampus, diperlukan sistem informasi yang mengintegrasikan data spasial dan non-spatial untuk mempermudah akses informasi tentang lokasi, navigasi, pengelolaan wilayah, dan pengembangan infrastruktur kampus. Pembuatan peta infrastruktur kampus Universitas Diponegoro diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Alur proses pembuatan peta tersebut terdiri dari wawancara mengenai saran dan masukan, hasil uji geometri, pembuatan peta, pembuatan WebGIS, dan formulir uji usability. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peta statis dan dinamis yang lebih terupdate dari sebelumnya. Peta ini nantinya menjadi dasar di dalam pembuatan web aplikasi melalui ArcGIS Online yang akan dikelola oleh pengembang. Untuk uji usability penggunaan Peta Infrastruktur Universitas Diponegoro Kampus Tembalang mendapatkan nilai 4,238 dari 5,0 yang masuk kategori “Sangat Baik” yang telah memenuhi aspek pengujian yaitu learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, satisfaction.
