<![CDATA[This research aimed to find out how Think-Pair-Share technique can improve students’ achievement in reading comprehension. It used Classroom Action Research (CAR) and conducted two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four meetings. The subjects are 17 students of XI grade which consists of 7 males and 10 females. The instrument for collecting data were reading comprehension test, observation sheets, and interview sheet. Based on reading comprehension score, students’ score kept improving in every test. In preliminary study the mean score was 34.1, in cycle I the mean score was 73.82, in cycle II the mean score was 89.41. Based on observation sheets and interview sheet, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students were active and interested in reading comprehension. The result of the research showed that Think-Pair-Share can improve students’ achievement in reading comprehension.]]>

<![CDATA[This study focused on investigating the grammatical error, especially inverted subject and verb in English language learning. Moreover, the aim of this study was to investigate the errors and the dominant error of types of inverted subject and verb found based on the students’ test. The data were collected through quantitative design using survey research method that being tested from non-English department students. The participant of this study are 20 students of the first year of soil science department. The result of this survey shows that almost all of the students makes an error in inverted subject and verb. Most of them get 50% of questions that were answered correctly. Few of them answered correctly more than 50%.]]>

<![CDATA[Corrective feedback has become a big issue among second and foreign language researchers. Its effectiveness while being implemented in the class is still the subject of debate. Moreover, its impact on second and foreign language learners’ performance is also a topic of discussion. Most researches claimed that corrective feedback has a positive effect on EFL learners. Therefore, this paper seeks information about the implementation of corrective feedback, the error types and students’ uptake found in the class. For this purpose, interviews and observations were used to collect data from a teacher and tenth grade students of senior high school in one of city in central java. The findings showed that there are three types of oral corrective feedback found in the class, they are; explicit correction, metalinguistic, and clarification request. Moreover, the students are frequently do a phonological error and semantic error while speaking. In regard to the students’ uptake, acknowledgement, repetition, off-target, and peer-repair are mostly found from the teacher and students interaction.]]>

<![CDATA[There are various strategies and techniques of teaching used by teachers to improve students' reading comprehension. The most widely used and challenging tasks for teachers are the implementation of the media. In this study, the researcher employed video of narrative text as a considerable media to enhance students' reading comprehension and as a way to get students attention to study. Moreover, few studies report on the of videos used in teaching learning process in which any result will actually be considered beneficial to the development of teaching. Video of narrative text is a sequence of narrative text which is visualize in form of video. In conducting this study, the researcher used quasi experimental research design. Following the idea, this study was designed to investigate the effect of using video of narrative text on the students' reading comprehension. The tenth-grade students of one of the private schools in Malang were used as the target population of this study. The required data were collected through achievement test. Due to the need to understand the effect, ttest was employed in this present study. The result of this study showed that the use of video of narrative text did not give a significant effect on the students' reading comprehension. It was proven from the calculation result of independent sample ttest. Half of them showed improvement in their but half of them did not. Therefore, there was no significant different between students who taught by using video of narrative text and original text.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to investigate the effect of using the Elsa Speak application on students’ pronunciation of SMK Kesehatan of Kapuas Raya Sintang in the academic year 2021/2022). The design of this research used quasi-experimental research in quantitative research. The sample of this research was XI Clinical Pharmacy as the class control and XI Nursing Assistant as the class non-control. The class control was taught by using the Elsa Speak application and class non-control was taught without using the Elsa Speak application. This selection based on purposive sampling technique. The researcher gave test in the form of pre-test and post-test to the control and non-control classes. The result of this research indicated that the Elsa Speak application was significant in improving students’ pronunciation. This was proven by the average score before treatment was 46.03 and the average score after treatment has given was 76.46. It means that using the Elsa Speak application showed a positive effect size. It was 0.58, the criteria were Moderate Effect to be implemented for students, especially for the eleventh-grade students of SMK Kesehatan of Kapuas Raya Sintang.]]>

<![CDATA[Infectious diseases related to health services are one of the health problems in various countries in the world, including Indonesia. Judging from the origin of the infection, it can come from the community (Community Acquired Infection) or the health service environment or clinic. The highest case data in 2019 & 2020 at the Guntung Manggis Health Center were ISPA 3070 patients, cough and cold 1728 patients, pharyngitis 1314 patients, skin diseases 121 patients, & scabies 112 patients, these incidence rates indicate that health workers are susceptible to infection and contracting a disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge of health workers about cross infection with the management of infection prevention at the Guntung Manggis Public Health Center, Banjarbaru City. The research method is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach design. Sampling by purposive sampling with a total of 30 health workers from 43 populations. Collecting data using questionnaires and observation. The results showed that most of the knowledge of cross-infection was in the good category (60%) and the management of infection prevention was in the appropriate category (83.3%). Based on the Chi-Square test resulting in a p value of sig (2-sided) = 0.001 in the test, it can be concluded that the p value (probability value) of the test (p = 0.001 < = 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the knowledge of health workers about cross-infection and the management of infection prevention. It is recommended that this research can be input, especially for health workers and health service providers.Keywords: Knowledge-Health Officer-Cross-Infection]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to find out how the relationship between the ratio of earnings per share and dividends per share on the company's stock price. The subjects used in this study are mining sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2018-2022. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique, using certain criteria and obtained a sample of 5 companies. The data processing technique used in this study uses multiple regression analysis assisted by Microsoft Excel 2013 and the Eviws 12 application. The implications of this study indicate that the ratio of earnings per share has an effect but not significant on stock prices, while dividends per share have an effect and are significant on prices. shares and simultaneously these two variables have no effect on stock prices. The suggestion in this study is that it is necessary to increase the company's financial performance in order to increase the company's profits so that the company's price can also increase.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze stock returns and risks, as well as grouping efficient and inefficient stocks to make investment decisions using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) model. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The samples used were companies in the LQ45 index in the infrastructure and transportation sectors during the 2018-2022 period using the purposive sampling method so that a total sample of 2 companies was obtained. Calculations using the CAPM model result in 1 efficient company and 1 inefficient company. Shares of PT. XL Axiata Tbk. is an undervalued stock, because the value of the individual rate of return (Ri) is higher at 0.00152 or 0.15%, with the resulting investment decision for stocks in the efficient category is to consider buying these shares at the lowest price today before experiencing an increase in the future. While the shares of PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk. is an overvalued stock, because the value of the individual rate of return (Ri) is lower at 0.00190 or 0.19% of the expected rate of return E(Ri) which is 0.00223 or 0.22%, the resulting investment decision for stocks with inefficient category is to sell the shares at the highest price now and before experiencing a price decline in the future.]]>

Therefore, this research aims to determine the impact of compensation, work environment, and workload on employee performance, with a focus on a case study at the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water (PERUMDAM) Tirta Kencana, Jombang Regency. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how big the influence is partially or simultaneously, as well as the most significant variables in influencing employee performance. The research method used was multiple linear regression, so that partial results were obtained that the compensation variable had an insignificant effect on employee performance, the work environment variable also had an insignificant effect on employee performance, and the workload variable had a significant effect on employee performance. Then simultaneously the variables of compensation, work environment, and workload simultaneously influence employee performance at the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water (PERUMDAM) Tirta Kencana, Jombang Regency. ]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to find out how the financial performance of cigarette companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period if measured by the Economic Value Added (EVA) method and the Traditional method, as well as to find out the comparison between the two. The research uses descriptive methods with a quantitative approach, in data collection with documentation studies. The data used as the basis for research are financial statements and annual reports. Furthermore, the data is processed using EVA analysis and ROA analysis. The results show that EVA's financial performance is good, with a positive EVA value. This means that the Company is able to create economic added value for investors and their business, while the ROA results are classified as not good, because they have a value below the industry standard of 30%, but all of them are positive values. This means that the Company is still able to make a profit from managing its assets. Based on the results of the comparison of EVA and ROA methods, it is known that the differences between all EVA companies have positive values. This means that the company has succeeded in creating economic added value for investors and their businesses. While the company's overall ROA value has a value below the industry standard of 30%. Thus, the performance in that year was classified as not good.]]>
