Abstract

Seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru merupakan tahap awal institusi untuk menyaring mahasiswa baru berdasarkan kriteria dan bobot yang ditentukan. Proses seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru dimulai dari persyaratan administrasi, melakukan pendaftaran, seleksi berkas, pengumuman hasil seleksi, dan pendaftaran ulang. Selama ini, kegiatan seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru masih dilakukan secara manual berupa rekap data dari file Excel, sehingga membutuhkan waktu lama untuk menentukan mahasiswa baru yang layak diterima. Proses seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru membutuhkan ketelitian yang tepat, agar mahasiswa baru yang dipilih berkualitas sesuai dengan jumlah daya tampung yang terpenuhi. Pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) berdasarkan bobot dan kriteria yang ditentukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk membantu proses seleksi mahasiswa baru ITTelkom dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) berdasarkan bobot dan kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan membantu melakukan seleksi alternatif dari sejumlah alternatif terbaik pada penentuan mahasiswa baru. Hasil akhir penelitian adalah membantu pihak admisi institusi dalam pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dalam penerimaan mahasiswa baru sesuai dengan kriteria yang diinginkan dari pihak institusi.

Abstract

The development of the world of information technology (IT) in the industrial era 4.0, which is increasing, brings new opportunities for society, and there are no limits to creating new business opportunities through digital media. Special abilities and skills are needed to create a simple online store so that it becomes a positive point for someone starting a new business, especially for someone who doesn't have an offline store yet. The problem faced by the students of Ihyaul Ulum Gresik Vocational School is that they don't have a shop yet, but the students are willing and have a business spirit. Based on the problems faced by the students, the service team provided training for Ihyaul Ulum Gresik Vocational High School students in the form of creating an online store using the Prestashop Content Management System (CMS). The training material is in the form of an explanation of the stages in creating an online store with Prestashop and business strategies through digital media. The results of the community service activities are that students gain knowledge, experience, and skills in creating online stores with Prestashop and can implement marketing through online media.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi semakin cepat. Adanya teknologi informasi bisa memberikan dampak yang positif untuk berbagai bidang seperti perdagangan, bisnis, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Teknologi informasi memiliki tujuan agar segala informasi bisa diperoleh dengan mudah selain itu memberikan peluang bagi pelaku bisnis untuk mengembangkan usaha. Pebisnis juga perlu menjamin bahwa segala proses produksi furniture dari hulu ke hilir bisa berjalan dengan baik. Maka perlu adanya sebuah aplikasi seperi Electronic Supply Chain Management dimana aplikasi ini digunakan untuk membantu dalam mengelola proses produksi agar bisa memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah melakukan wawancara dan observasi kepada objek penelitian untuk mengetahui segala permasalahan dan mengetahui segala proses bisnis yang berjalan. Selain itu melakukan studi literatur untuk membangun kerangka berfikir dan mencari ide untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Kemudian melakukan perancangan dan pemodelan supaya bisa menggambarkan proses bisnis antara pelaku bisnis dengan sistem. Tahapan yang terakhir adalah pengujian. Pengujian yang dilakukan fokus pada operasional dan fungsional pada sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan rantai pasok dapat dilakukan dengan baik.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation requires rigorous monitoring and control of several parameters, such as turbidity, electric conductivity, acidity (pH), dissolved oxygen and nutrient, which usually be measured once a day manually. Therefore, automation in hydroponic cultivation requires those water quality information as the controlled variable. The dissolved nutrient is especially important because it significantly affects the hydroponic plant growth. Acquiring the dissolved nutrient can be done by using a PPM (parts per million) sensor, but most of the time the sensor needs further processing to obtain the desired measurement. This study presents a reading correction of a PPM sensor based on a regression method so the desired measurement can be done. Sample water with different PPM, such 309 PPM, 290 PPM, 762 PPM, 1910 PPM and 2420 PPM are measured first using a standard PPM meter. Then, the sample PPM is measured by using the PPM sensor. The study also investigates the best regression method to map the PPM sensor measurement to the standard PPM meter measurement by comparing several line equations, such as linear, exponential, polynomial and logarithmic. The function coefficient and bias is chosen by using least square methods. After comparing, the result shows that the polynomial function provides the best reading correction with average error of 76 PPM. The error is especially few when measuring the higher PPM (more than 500 PPM), which is suitable with hydroponic cultivation. Therefore, the PPM sensor with the polynomial function shown in this study can be used to measure the dissolve nutrient accurately in the automation of hydroponic activity compare to other line equations. This study is limited to small sample sizes to prove the concept. The generalization can also be considered in the future study.

Abstract

Dampak pandemi COVID-19 mengakibatkan banyak pekerja kehilangan pekerjaan, sehingga terjadi pengangguran dan pengurangan karyawan, maka perlu mencari sumber potensi pendapatan baru yang dapat dieksplorasi dari lingkungan sekitar. Salah satu cara yaitu penerapan metode peningkatan branding dan optimalisasi pemasaran produk lokal menuju produk internasional. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberdayakan UMKM lokal agar hasil produk yang dihasilkan lebih efektif dan memperoleh hasil maksimal berupa desain kemasan produk dan memanfaatkan media pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian sejalan dengan program Pemerintah terkait peningkatan ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dari pemilik UMKM, permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah aktivitas pemasaran produk lokal pada tingkat nasional. Aktivitas peningkatan branding dan optimalisasi pemasaran produk lokal menuju produk internasional dapat menjadi solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah, terutama masalah yang dihadapi pemilik usaha Nasi Tiwul SBR Malang terkait pemasaran produk terbatas pada lingkungan sekitar. Metode peningkatan branding dan optimalisasi pemasaran produk lokal menuju produk internasional sangat sederhana yaitu mengetahui cara dan strategi dalam memasarkan produk secara tepat dan terarah. Melakukan pemasaran produk ke luar negeri dapat dilakukan dengan mudah melalui media digital. Saat ini, akses komunikasi dan penyebaran informasi dari seluruh dunia dapat dilakukan melalui internet, termasuk memperkenalkan bisnis ke luar negeri. Diharapkan dalam 6 bulan sudah mendapatkan hasil dan dapat dijual langsung pada wilayah Malang dan sekitarnya, sehingga produk lokal Indonesia dikenal dunia.

Abstract

Light Service Stores are shops that provide gadget repair services, such as Android cellphones, iPhones, Macbooks, selling gadget components, and so on. Activities at the Light Service Store begin when the customer comes to the counter regarding the problem with the gadget to be repaired, and then the customer delivers the gadget to the counter for repair. During the gadget repair process, customers can inquire about the progress of the gadget being repaired. After the gadget has been repaired, the admin informs the customer that the gadget has been repaired, and then the customer makes a payment. There are problems faced, namely that the way to manage customer orders is still conventional, so customers cannot monitor the progress of gadget repairs. Based on the problems faced by shop owners, a website-based gadget repair information system was created. The purpose of creating a gadget repair information system is to make it easier for customers to monitor gadget repair status and manage repair service orders. The method used in making the gadget repair information system is the Scrum method, where the Scrum method is more flexible if changes occur during the application development process and according to the wishes of the user because it gets regular feedback. In testing the website, the researcher used the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to produce a pragmatic quality value of 2.0875, a hedonic quality value of 1.7125, and an overall value of 1.9, so it can be concluded that the application can be used by users and shop owners.

Abstract

In this study, the authors used the Weighted Product (WP) method to select the best supervisor at PT PLN (Persero). The Weighted Product (WP) method is the most appropriate method to be used in the selection stage for candidates with the potential to be the best supervisors. In applying the WP (Weighted Product) method, managers can rank by looking for the weight value of each attribute. The results of the study stated that alternative A2 had the best value with a value of 0.11877

Abstract

In the current digital era, especially in the world of education, the use of information and communication technology (ICT) is growing rapidly to meet needs. Universities rely on information systems, especially in managing new student admissions. The new student admission selection information system contains sensitive and dangerous prospective student data, as well as the risks that arise in the information system, limited to data processing during the new student admission process and the administration process, thus causing problems. The New Student Registration Information System is one of the services provided by the university as part of the new student registration process. Therefore, risk management is needed to minimize the impact of risks on maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. The aim of the research is to identify, analyze, and evaluate risks when using information systems for new student admission procedures. The approach used in risk management is Octave Allegro, and Octave Allegro is used to help evaluate information assets. The method used is data collection by conducting interviews with related sources. Based on the findings on the New Student Admissions site, there are 5 risk areas; 9 IT risks were identified as a result of potential risk analysis; and 4 IT risks were mitigated based on recommendations.

Abstract

The Faculty of Information Technology and Business is one of the faculties at the Telkom Surabaya Institute of Technology. This faculty has four staff, namely Prasetya, Setyawan, Pertiwi, and Berliana. Every semester, faculty leaders (deans and deputy deans) evaluate faculty staff based on predetermined criteria to provide the best performance for the faculty in carrying out their duties and obligations. Assessment of faculty staff selection is based on criteria, namely service, discipline, commitment, and cooperation. The decision support system for selecting the best faculty staff uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, where the decision-making process is based on an alternative assessment process based on predetermined criteria. Calculations using the AHP method are in the form of ranking the importance of each criterion and making recommendations for the best faculty staff, where the order of criteria starts with the criteria of service, cooperation, discipline, and commitment. Alternative matrix calculations yielded a score of 0.4963 for Prasetya, a score of 0.1893 for Setyawan, a score of 0.1873 for Pertiwi, and a score of 0.127 for Berliana, so that the best faculty staff recommendations were obtained by Prasetya with the highest score of 0.4963.

Abstract

The quality of the software can be seen from the functionality of the application system whether it is in accordance with user needs or may be detrimental to system owners and users. For software testing, there are several methods used by testers to launch software, namely Black Box Testing and White Box Testing. In this study, the testing method used is Black Box Testing by applying Equivalence Partitioning to develop Web-Based E-learning applications at the Telkom Institute of Technology Surabaya because it is considered the most suitable for application testing by dividing the equivalence class into 2, namely valid and invalid classes. . The research stages are determining system functions, designing test cases, conducting tests, and drawing final conclusions. The results showed that this e-learning application screen was used as a distance or online learning medium at the Telkom Institute of Technology Surabaya.
