Abstract

The development of information technology has ampact on changes in human life. One of them is Cloud Computing technology. Cloud Computing is computing model that it giveaway saat toaccess services by offering resources suci as hardware, software, and data storage as user guidance services. SMPN 1 Karimun is one of the Junior High Schools in Karimun Regency,still uses conventional storage namely computer storage or tiger storages. So, the ampun of data cause a lack of effeciency and effectiveness in accessing data. As a technology like cloudcomputing. Cloud computing has function as a server for digital-based storage, renew using cloud computing can storage performance in SMPN 1 Karimun to knot it any attack of DoS ( Denial of Service ). The research methodology is to design a cloud computing system by testings function in the application with the quality of existing network. The average value of throughput without DoS attack is 21,21 Mbit/s, the average throughtput value two PCs using DoS attack is18,76 Mbit/s while four PCs is 17,21 Mbit/s. Avarage result of packet loss without DoS attack is 0,046 %, the average of packet loss value using two PCs DoS attack is 0,082 % while using fourPCs is 0,104 %. Average result of delay value without DoS attack is 0,000354 ms, the average delay value using two PCs is 0,000475 ms while using while four PCs is 0,000517 ms.Keywords: Cloud Computing, DoS (Denial of Service), QoS (Quality of Service), SMPN 1 Karimun

Abstract

Riau University hospital is an educational infrastructure institution and health institution in collaboration with Riau University. Most of the patients treated at Riau University hospital are people from the riau university community such as campus staff, lecturers and students. Outside communities that are not from the community of UNRI campus have a small percentage to treat in hospitals Riau University. Another problem, for patients who are located far from the hospital of Riau University will have difficulty because patients who want to seek treatment at the University of Riau hospital and conduct consultations with the desired doctor can not know the schedule of the doctor on duty, so the patient must go to the hospital first to find out the schedule of the doctor's duties on the day. Therefore, a consultation application is needed that can help solve the problems described. This research uses waterfall method to help the process of making consulting application. The data collection is obtained by interview method and observation directly to the field. The consulting application was created using Android Studio with the Java programming language and eXtensible Markup Language (XML), as well as Firebase as a database. Application testing uses the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method to see the results of application creation based on user ratings. Based on the results and tests carried out, obtained an android-based UNRI hospital consultation application. This consultation application can be used by patients to view schedules and consult online with doctors working in UNRI hospitals. This application is expected to help prospective patients can seek treatment and consult a doctor easily. Keyword : Java, XML, Android

Abstract

The development of telecommunications today make the need for communication of data quickly and efficiently is also one of his company besar.IPv4 scale to support 32-bit addressing and developed IPv6 supports up to 128 -bit addressing and also developed a routing protocol that works padaIPv6.Routing protocol always to update the routing table, with the use of IPv6 has a huge addressing whether the effect on the quality ofnetwork.Skripsi is structured to determine the Quality of Service of the Routing Information Protocol version 1 , Routing Information Protocol version 2 , and Routing Information Protocol next-generation data networks PT . Pertamina RU II Dumai . Performed using the general network simulator 3 software and software wireshark . Analysis of the results of the design using three perangka trouter counted Quality Of Service obtained the value of total delay RIPv2 routing smaller average 11.2 % of the RIPv1 routing . While smaller RIPng routing of routing RIPv2 19.4 % and 28.5 % smaller than the total packet routing RIPv1.Nilai lossrouting smaller RIPv2 routing RIPv1.Sedangkan 15.9 % from 5.2% RIPng smaller than RIPv2 routing and 20.3 % smaller than RIPv1 routing. The total value of RIPv2 routing throughput greater than routing RIPv1 43.6 % and 63.9 % greater than the total value RIPng.Sedangkan routing throughput greater routing RIPv1 routing RIPng.Dengan 35.9 % compared to the use of six devices total RIPng router routing delay average , total packet loss , and total troghput small compared to most other routing .Keywords: Routing RIPv1, RIPv2, RIPng, IPv4, IPv6, QOS,GNS 3

Abstract

The company that has business units specific location would want the business units are connected to one another in a network and can share important information quickly to support the company's business continuity. One is seeking a fast network connection to send the shipment and demand data. One solution that can be used is the routing protocol. The use of routing protocols greatly affect how network performance local area network of a company. To support LAN network performance optimization, routing protocols have a fundamental role in the network. Selection of the appropriate routing protocols necessary for optimal and efficient network, and can cope with complex routing situations quickly and accurately. Case studies conducted in PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia to implement multiple routing protocols on the LAN network PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia. Implementers conducted in simulated General Network Simulator 3 and use wireshark to get a delay, packet loss, and thrpoughput using Open Shortest Path First routing, Routing Information Protocol version 1, and Enchanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol for LAN network PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia. The results of this simulation design obtained QOS routing OSPF, RIPv1, and EIGRP, and OSPF routing is obtained that has the best performance seen from the measured parameters.Keyword : Routing Protokol, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, QOS

Abstract

Keeping various types of ornamental fish in the aquarium must be considered when maintaining one of them is in feeding fish. For some people who have quite a lot of hectic activities, it can be a difficult task to handle fish feed when leaving the house for extended periods. Therefore, a system was designed to assist aquarium owners in regular feeding of fish, and aquarium owners can monitor fish feeding remotely. This tool works according to the fish feed schedule with a frequency of twice a day, in the morning and evening. This study uses software and hardware consisting of ESP8266 as the main control, ultrasonic sensor as a feed distance meter, servo motor as a container valve opener, RTC (Real Time Clock) as a scheduler, and a buzzer as an alarm. When the internet is connected to the ESP8266, the data will be sent to a telegram to notify the owner. Based on the test results, this fish feeding tool can work according to a pre-arranged schedule option, and is able to display notifications to the telegram application. The system that has been designed can already monitor the feeding of fish and provide notification results in the form of information on the availability of fish feed and notification of the feeding schedule for fish through the telegram application on the user's smartphone.Keywords : ESP8266, Internet of Things, Telegram

Abstract

Communication between vehicles plays an important role in increasing comfort such as reducing vehicle density and security, namely regulating vehicle speed for drivers and passengers. Advances in technology offer concepts to improve comfort and safety in driving, namely Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET). However, VANET has network characteristics where the network nodes are moving very fast. In this research, a comparison of the performance of two topology-based routing protocols is performed. The topology in this research are : Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) and Dynamic source routing (DSR) on VANET. (OLSR) is a proactive routing protocol that determines the routing table by updating every time a link changes, (DSR) belongs to a reactive routing protocol that only selects paths or updates paths only when there are new route or when a route is cut off. Both routing protocols are simulated using Network Simulator 2 (NS-2) with a scenario of changing the number of nodes. The two protocols are compared based on the parameters of the Packet delivery ratio and end-to-end delay. From the results of the study it was found that the DSR routing protocol has a better PDR value of 99.80% compared to OLSR of 99.53%, the average end-to-end delay from DSR is 0.13 seconds, while OLSR is 0.12 seconds. This shows that the DSR routing protocol is superior to the packet delivery ratio and OLSR routing protocol excels at end-to-end delay Keyword: VANET, Proactive, Reactive, OLSR, DSR

Abstract

Computer Network is the fundamental part of telecommunication. Computer network has been developed to fulfill the needs of humanity. Nowadays, the centralized network is needed to control the network traffic easily. Software Defined Network (SDN) is centralized network that provide the separated data plane and control plane in different system. This study provides the network Universitas Riau (UR) with SDN. The mininet was used to design and simulate UR design network using SDN. Theresult shows that the simulated network has the delay value of 0.506 ms. Compared to delay of UR existing network value of 13.874 ms, the simulated network provides a better performance than the existing network. In conclusion, SDN can be considered to implemented in UR network because its delay value is less than ITU standard 150 ms and less than existing network.Keywords : Network, Centralized, SDN, Delay.

Abstract

The antenna has a big role either in high or low frequency of wireless communication. In transmission process, antenna also become a determinant factor of successful communication between transmitter and receiver. In this project, we will design an omnidirectional antenna that will be connected with electrical unit measurement device. To make analyzing process easier, ansoft hfss 13.0 software will beused. The simulation results show that the antenna canwork well at frequency of 2,4 until 2,5 GHz, return loss -30,4670, gain 5,08 and VSWR 1,0618.Keyword: microstrip antenna, Wi – Fi , return loss, VSWR

Abstract

In the field of machinery, both private-owned transportation or company- engaged in transportation, such as two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. lubricant quality measurement is important in keeping the engine be durable and long-lasting, timely lubricant changing can save the maintenance cost and also provide driving comfortable, on the other hand, lubricant changes that is not on time can cause the engine be break quickly and lavish in maintenance costs, lubricant quality can be identified by measuring the changing of viscosity. In this study lubricants quality measurement tool is designed by measuring changes of viscosity based on Internet of Things, by knowing the changes of viscosity can determine the condition of each lubricant, by applying the internet of things technology on measurements can make monitoring be easier because measurement data are sent and stored in the database, by android application in monitor of the measurements using internet network whenever and wherever, from testing results using method, conducted on three different lubricants samples obtained that correlation relationship between voltage and viscosity with linear line equation namely: SAE 10W-30 lubricants are y = 6.4896x + 74,076, SAE 20W-40 oil are y = 9.11x + 154.61 and SAE 15W-30 lubricants are y = 16.013x + 129.8 where as x is the voltage and y is the viscosity the average error of each tool measurement is of lubricant quite good only 2.61%. Sending measurement data by arduino devices is also very good with an average delay less than 300ms.Keywords: Lubricants, Viscosity, Internet of Things.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept to exchange data through the internet with objects that can be controlled remotely. Air is a mixture of gases found in the layers that surround the earth. The component with the most varied such as H20 vapor and carbon dioxide (CO2). Air pollution is defined as the entry of one or more contaminants / pollutants such as dust, smoke, odor, gas, and vapor into the atmosphere in a certain amount and certain characteristics and at a certain time which can endanger the lives of humans, animals, plants, and interfere with comfort in life . This system was designed indoor air and gas quality monitoring on android notifications. The tools consisted of Arduino Mega, MQ2, MQ-7, ZH03A, PZEM 004T, and it was used to detect monitoring air and gas qualityof the air by sending notifications to user with the android smarthphone. The thingspeak.com is used to view monitoring data from sensors. The test results show that the time needed to be able to send android notifications is about 1-3 seconds, while the time needed to send and receive data to thingspeak.com are about 30 seconds. These time can be affected by the internet connection. Sending measurement data by arduino devices is also very good with an average delay less than 300ms.
