Abstract

Rimbo Ilir transmigration settlement was opened for the first time in 1978. This transmigration area is a residential area for transmigrants originating from Wonogiri Regency. This study aims to determine the process of entering the transmigration community in Rimbo Ilir District, Tebo Regency, the dynamics of the transmigration community in Rimbo Ilir and the development of the socio-economic life of the Javanese transmigrant community in Rimbo Ilir District. This study used a historical research method consisting of four steps, namely collection of sources, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Sources that are widely used in this study are oral sources because the perpetrator is still there and allows him to be interviewed. The results showed that the transmigrants who came were Bedol Desa transmigrants who came from Wonogiri Regency. The background of the arrival of the transmigrants was that their area was inundated by the construction of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir and to improve economic life by opening new land. Since the arrival of the transmigrants, their socio-economic life has grown rapidly because of the rapid development of rubber plants and the price is quite expensive, the harvest period is relatively fast and the risk of loss is minimal, making the economic situation of the transmigration community gradually improved.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the concept of dress aesthetics and art of traditional and creative dance of Jambi Malay, and dress development of Jambi Malay dance could be seen from a dress of traditional dance, creative dance, and contemporary dance. The research result was expected to be one of Jambi Malay culture inventory in social science. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method with a symbolic interaction approach. The background of the people of Jambi city which is multicultural makes Jambi city rich in cultural diversity, one of which is dance. Dance dress is included as an important element in dance performance. Dance dress is a symbol of aesthetics and artistry in dance performances. The dress wisdom of Malay dance is not separated from aesthetic and artistic concepts based on concepts of custom and Islam. The concept is based on message of Jambi culture, “adat bersendikan syarak, syarak bersendikan kitabullah, syarak mengato adat memakai”. The research conclusion is that the ideal dress aesthetically according to Jambi Malay tradition after converting to Islam is a dress that covers the genitals. Artistically it is the dress that is lost when moving, with not too much design based on Islamic custom and law while color is usually natural color and adapted.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a social theory approach. The purpose of this research is to find out the existence and application of the tale haji tradition as a cultural identity in Tigo Luhah Semurup, Kerinci Regency. This tradition has been carried out from generation to generation until now, this is done as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT as the chosen people to worship in the holy land of Mecca. The lengthy process and journey to the holy land makes the poems sung full of meaning containing prayers and hopes to Allah SWT so that prospective pilgrims who will depart can leave their hometowns in peace and be given safety and smoothness in carrying out the pilgrimage, while for the families left behind are still given consolation and support to await the arrival of the families who depart for the holy land. This tradition produces a sense of togetherness, the spirit of mutual cooperation, sincerity, affection, kinship and cohesiveness among the local community. The conclusion from this research is that the implementation of the tale haji tradition is a sacred form as a cultural identity in Tigo Luhah Semurup, until now the community believes in maintaining and preserve it as a legacy of hereditary traditions. the activity of the haji butale tradition gave birth to noble values ??as strengthening and bonding values ??for family relations, togetherness, mutual cooperation, sincerity, sincerity and affection in the Tigo Luhah Semurup community, Kerinci district.Keywords: Hajj Tale, Tradition, Cultural Identity

Abstract

Abstract: This research was a qualitative research with descriptive phenomenological approaches and library study. Phenomenological perspective in this research was used to describe religious phenomena in the Japanese society perspective and to see further about the behavior, motivation, actions that is done by Japanese students in interpreting religion in a cultural perspective. This study also aimed to understand the characteristics of the Japanese society in interpreting religion and culture. The focus of this research was an understanding of Japanese society way of life in interpreting religion and culture. The results of this study showed that the true religion in Japan was understood and lived with lightly, not binding. Almost all religious activities in Japan rely on the idea of ​​genze riyaku. It doesn't matter Buddha or Shinto. It is not different than treating other dimensions of material life. "If it is seen in their life, Japanese society can perform several religious rituals at once but not a few Japanese society who do not believe in the existence of God, it means that some of society who does not have any religious grip in their daily lives. Although many people consider that for Japanese society, religion is not so important. But there are also other opinions that see that the Japanese society really love their religion and beliefs, so it's no wonder, in Tokyo, there are so many temples that were built since hundreds of years ago. It can be concluded that religion in Japan is understood and lived with lightly, without binding. That is caused of their relaxed attitude in manifesting religion or beliefs. Religion in Japan is inseparable from culture and religion is not the main thing in their lives but in daily practice their lives are inseparable from the religions that have been inherent in culture. Abstract

Tracing the history of Jambi culinary as an inventory of assets and promotion of culinary tourism in Jambi Province is very important, lifting the identity of the Jambi region. This research aims to find out the development of Jambi culinary. In addition, taking steps, making a legal umbrella so that Jambi culinary is not lost from the next generation. The method used in this research is qualitative method and field interview with descriptive form. The results of this study indicate that the potential in developing culinary tourism in the Jambi region such as the Jambi Muaro Temple festival, Kerinci Lake festival, Lake Sipin festival. Promotional activities by forming a calendar of scheduled tourism activities, thus attracting tourism interest from inside and outside who want to know about Jambi culinary.

Abstract

AbstractKrinok is one of the traditional music genres of the people of Jambi, is a treasure of musical culture and has the potential to be advanced. Its musical potential consists of several characters, especially the tone system, melodic contours, grenades, interval patterns, and circular musical journeys, as well as the normative freedom of expression of spontaneous singing texts in the presentation that characterizes this musical entity. In development as an effort to promote, several aspects mandated by the constitution (UUD-1945) are considered, namely, advancing in the midst of world civilization, and through development; (UU-RI) aims as an investment to build the nation's future and civilization, as well as personality. Abstract

Abstract: Entrepreneurship Education of Historioprenership on Global Perspective in History Study Program, Universitas Jambi The purpose of this writing article is to find out the development of a historio-preneurship-based on entrepreneurship curriculum in a global perspective and the impact of implementing a historio-preneurship-based on entrepreneurship curriculum for graduates of the Universitas Jambi history study program. The method used in this research were descriptive qualitative method and library research. Based on Indonesia backgrond thhat have many advantages and gifts from the Creator, especially in large and multicultural human resources and vast natural resources which are rich in various flora, fauna and many islands. So, to respond the digital era of globalization, universities should be required to prepare scholars or graduates who are superior, innovative and competitive nationally and internationally so that university graduates are expected to be immediately ready to compete and produce competent resources. The results of developing a curriculum that adapts to the development of science, technology and the environment so that university graduates have human resources that are competitive in the current era of globalization. One of the curriculum that is widely offered by almost all tertiary institutions in Indonesia is an entrepreneurship-based curriculum, one of which is the historiopreneurship curriculum in the History Study Program at the Universitas Jambi. This is deemed necessary, because higher education is a place to prepare graduates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are ready to compete in society with various skills in facing the challenges of the globalization era. It can be concluded that in the era of globalization, higher education institutions must participate in preparing good quality education to produce quality generations/graduates who have hard skills and soft skills so that graduates are ready to compete in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the era of society 5.0. In addition, the tertiary curriculum determines the quality of education. One of the curriculu. that is currently widely implemented in tertiary institutions is a curriculum that is oriented towards entrepreneurship , this also applies to the history study program at the Universitas Jambi. The impact of the entrepreneurship and historiopreneurship curriculum is to prepare graduates who are independent, ready to work and create jobs and change the mindset of graduates or change the general public of society. Abstract

Kewirausahaan dapat menjadi alternatif dan solusi untuk mengurangi pengangguran di Indonesia. Salah satu bentuk kewirausahaan yang perlu untuk dikembangkan bagi mahasiswa adalah kewirausahaan sejarah. Dengan demikian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain pembelajaran kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi yang berbasis sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan. Metode pengembangan dilakukan untuk melakukan perbaikan dan penyempurnaan silabus mata kuliah kewirausahaan yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Adapun metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan Borg anda Gall modifikasi Cunnigham yang terdiri dari studi pendahulua, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, validasi produk, uji coba produk, dan produk akhir yang siap digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang diajarkan pada mahasiswa Ilmu sejarah belum diintegrasikan dengan ilmu sejarah, 2) pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis wirausaha berbasis sejarah bisa diterapkan pada prodi ilmu sejarah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan interaksi simbolik. Bertujuan untuk mengetahi sejarah, makna nilai-nilai filosofi dalam estetika dan perkembangan pakaian tradisional perempuan melayu Jambi. Manfaat dari penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi salah satu inventarisasi budaya melayu dalam ranah ilmiah. Berlatar belakang adanya keanekaragaman kekayaan alam dan budaya yang dimiliki provinsi Jambi, terdapat nilai-nilai keindahan, fasafah dan nilai-nilai estetika budaya, salah satunya etika dan estetika dalam berpakaian merupakan bagian penting dalam pakaian tradisional perempuan melayu Jambi. Baju kurung dan tengkuluk sebagai simbol perempuan muslimah melayu Jambi, makna filosofi yang erat dengan adat tradisi dan Islam. Masuk dan berkembangnya Islam di tanah melayu Jambi mempengaruhi konsep adat cara berpakaian perempuan melayu Jambi. Pakaian tidak hanya sebagai pembungkus tubuh secara adat tetapi juga menjadi pembungkus aurat secara syariat. Dapat disimpulkan baju kurung dan tengkuluk merupakan cerminan jati diri perempuan muslimah melayu Jambi sesuai dengan syariat Islam tergambarkan dalam seloko adat Jambi “adat bersendi syara’, syara’ bersendi kitabullah. Syara’ mengato, adat memakai.” Seloko adat tersebut menjadi nilai filosofi dalam seni berpakaian perempuan melayu Jambi yang memiliki keunikan dari nilai etika dan estika tanpa mengurangi keanggunan perempuan melayu Jambi dalam segi fashion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengkajian kebudayaan bagaimana tempoyak menjadi makanan khas Jambi. Maksud serta tujuan dari penelitaian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana sejarah dan perjalanan tempoyak bisa menjadi makanan yang sangat disukai oleh masyarakat Jambi dan juga menjadi makanan khas yang sangat melekat dikenal oleh masyarakat Jambi hingga keluar sana. Metode yang digunakan penulis pada penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian historis yang dibagi menjadi empat tahapan yaitu heuristik (mengumpulkan suber-sumber referensi baik buku, jurnal, atau artikel dari berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian) kritik sumber, interpretasi (menafsirkan kembali fakta-fakta yang ditemukan), dan historiografi (menuliskan hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini). Dilatar belakangi oleh keadaan geogarafis Jambi berupa dataran rendah dan beriklin tropis dan sangat cocok menjadi lahan perkebunan dan juga buah. Salah satunya podon durian yang buahnya menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan tempoyak dan juga tidak terlepas dari pengaruh kebudayaan yang ada di masyarakat Jambi. Sehingga menjadikan tempoyak menjadi makanan khas sangat terkenal dari daerah Jambi.
