Abstract

This research was conducted in Sawang District, North Aceh Regency, Riseh Tunong Village, Gunci Village, and Blang Teurakan Village. The samples taken were from the 3 villages as many as 20 farmers from Riseh Tunong Village, 15 farmers from Gunci Village and 13 farmers from Blang Teurakan Village. This study aims to 1) describe the general overview of areca nut marketing channels in Sawang District, North Aceh Regency. 2) analyze the efficiency of areca nut marketing in Sawang District, North Aceh Regency. The data used in this study is primary data obtained based on the results of observations and interviews conducted using questionnaires on sample farmers and traders and supported by secondary data from several literature. Based on the results of the research, it is known that areca nut marketing in Sawang District consists of 3 marketing channels, namely 1) channel I consists of farmers - wholesalers - end consumers/exporters, 2) channel II, namely farmers - collectors - final consumers/exporters, 3) channel III, namely farmers - collectors - wholesalers - end consumers/exporters. The results of the analysis of the most efficient marketing margin value are based on the size of the margin, namely channel I, which is Rp.2,800/Kg. the value of the farmer's share received by the largest farmer, namely in channel I, is 65% and the value of the profit-to-cost ratio in channel I Ï/C>1 is 3%.Keywords: Marketing Efficiency, Marketing Channel, Marketing Margin, Farmer's Share, Ï/C Ratio

Abstract

This research was carried out in Geureudong Pase District on June 28, 2025. This research aims to formulate the right development strategy for the tempe agroindustry in Geureudong Pase District, North Aceh Regency. The background of this research is that in Geureudong Pase District, Mr. Kamto has been running a tempeh business inherited by his parents for 23 years as a form of local food preservation. However, production is still limited to 20 kg of soybeans per day and has not been able to meet the increasing market demand. Therefore, strategic and innovative steps are needed to increase production and strengthen business competitiveness. The method carried out is a qualitative method with SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that the calculation of the SWOT matrix in Mr. Kamto's tempeh business, the intersection of the matrix X 1.40 and Y 1.25 shows that Mr. Kamto's tempeh business is in an aggressive position The results of alternative strategies that can be applied in the development of the tempe agro-industry are the SO strategy.

Abstract

Soil health is an important aspect of agricultural sustainability because it encompasses the soil's physical, chemical, and biological functions. This service activity aims to increase farmer groups' understanding of  concepts, indicators, and simple methods for recognizing and evaluating soil health as part of the  implementation of PT. Inpola Meka Energi. The activity was held on May 9, 2025, in Lau Gunung Village, Tanah Pinem District, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra, using an educational-participatory  approach through the delivery of materials, discussions, introduction to tools, and field observations in the  cocoa plantation area. The material includes 12 soil health indicators grouped into physical, chemical, and  biological aspects, as well as evaluation stages: indicator observation, scoring, use of the Soil Health Card, determination of the Soil Health Index (IKT), identification of limiting factors, and alternative  improvements. The results of the activity demonstrated the implementation of the knowledge transfer  process and field learning, with participants directly recognizing soil conditions. This activity is a form of  CSR based on community capacity building to support sustainable land management.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. From the calculation of the profitability studied, it shows that the mushroom farming has the ability and obtains a profit or profitability of 50%. This shows that the mushroom farming gets a large profit from the production activities that are cultivated. Based on the results of research and analysis of the profitability of the data that has been carried out on the mushroom farming of Mr. Tarmizi in Baktiya Barat District, North Aceh Regency, it can be concluded, among others: 1. The total costs incurred on the mushroom farming for one production process are Rp. 3,571,478.9 with details of fixed costs of Rp. 225,478.9 and variable costs of Rp. 3,346,000. With the income obtained is Rp. 7,500,000 so that's a profit of Rp. 3,928,521.1. 2. Straw mushroom farming is a farm engaged in agriculture that is able to earn a profit of 50%.
