Abstract

This research was conducted in an effort to minimize the occurrence of road traffic accidents. In this study detected the level of fatigue and sleepiness from the driver's face video based on the extraction of eye and mouth features using the CNN method. The dataset in this study is 300 data with 3 different classes namely drowsiness 100 data, sleepy 100 data and normal 100 data. The number of epochs used in research to achieve high accuracy is as much as 50. In the test results it is known that the validation of accuracy has increased in each of the input layer results.

Abstract

Electricity problems in rural areas more and more electric power is needed. Until now, power plants that use water turbines are environmentally friendly electricity producers, so the potential for energy from the air needs to be utilized to address the demand for electricity. Therefore, the solution to this problem is to use the "Design and Construction of Hydroelectric Generator for Public Street Lighting". The generator is a source of electric voltage obtained by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generator works based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, which is by rotating a coil in a magnetic field so that the induced GGL (Electric Motion Force) arises. In this thesis, a research is conducted on the Water Turbine Generator in the river in the village area of Padi Gondang Mojokerto as an object of water flow in order to generate electric power to reduce crime in the area in the form of a load object in the form of Public Street Lighting.

Abstract

Abstract - Overhead crane is a lifting tool used by almost all industries, ports, warehouses, workshops, and others. In general, the overhead crane control system is less effective and efficient because the operator still follows the direction of the crane's speed. In this case, problems often occur because the pendant switch which functions as a controller still uses a cable as a connector to the overhead crane panel. Various problems that often occur include cables breaking frequently due to being hit by a load lifted by the hoist, operators having difficulty setting a safe distance because they are limited by the length of the pendant switch cable. Based on the background of the problem, a control system is made which is expected to be able to control the overhead crane effectively and efficiently without using a cable as a connector but using an android smartphone. Control with an android smartphone using an android application with a wifi connection and an arduino uno R3 microcontroller. Based on the test results on this control system, device control can be controlled at a maximum distance of ± 100 meters as long as the device is still within wifi range. The control system can function optimally and the application can be installed on Android OS 4.0 (Jelly Bean) smartphones. Therefore, the use of a cable can be replaced with a wifi connection system to reduce friction with the cable and so that the operator can maintain a safe distance from the load to be moved because it is no longer limited by the length of the cable.

Abstract

In the industrial world the process of measuring air temperature and humidity is a very important measurement process in the production process. But in practice in the field, the process of measuring air temperature &humidity is mostly done manually, which is done by recording which has the disadvantage of inaccurate measurement data. Recording temperature measurements that are done manually causes the product results to be not good, both in terms of quantity and quality. Related to these problems, the author took the initiative to create an alternative data logger device that is simpler, easier to integrate and relatively more affordable, without reducing the value of measurement accuracy. This data logger tool functions to monitor air temperature and humidity in real time, whose monitoring results are displayed through a system interface with the help of Labview software, Arduino Uno & DHT sensor. The final results of the trial design of the data logger tool are able to & have advantages, among others, air temperature and humidity parameters can be monitored automatically accompanied by alarm notifications, air temperature and humidity data parameters can be recorded automatically into logging data in the form of MS Excel format, and user can analyze data on air temperature and humidity parameters and the final results of the trial This air temperature & humidity data logger tool has an error rate of 0.5%.

Abstract

Heart health is an important thing to monitor, because the heart is an important vital organ and is prone to disturbances, especially for the elderly. Such as stroke, arrhythmia and other heart diseases. Usually a heart rate detector is only owned by people who work as health workers and health agencies, and if someone who has heart disease such as stroke and arrhythmia wants to check his heart health, he must come to a doctor or health agency. Therefore, a measuring device and monitoring of heart rate are made on a regular basis. This heart rate measuring and monitoring device is based on a microcontroller and android with a periodic database-based monitoring system. By using the MAX 30100 sensor which has an average error of approximately 3% with a difference value of more than 3 bpm with existing standard measuring instruments.

Abstract

Mosques are places of worship for Muslims. With a large number of mosques, the problems that arise are also diverse, for example the AL Akbar Surabaya mosque has 2 thefts per year. The form of breaking into the charity box was in the form of the destruction of the padlock hinge made of iron plates in the outer courtyard of the mosque. This is a problem for mosque managers. The purpose of this research is to create a security system for the charity box of the Al Akbar National Mosque that can be controlled remotely using the Internet of Things (IoT). This system will ensure the safety of the charity box and prevent the possibility of theft or manipulation of the money contained in it. This security system uses motion sensors as an indicator of suspicious activity around the charity box. When the vibration sensor detects vibration, the system will activate the Buzzer and the ESP32 CAM camera takes pictures to be further processed using a face detection algorithm and the results are sent in the form of a notification to the mosque manager who is connected to the internet network, so that it can take photos that can be accessed in real-time by security control. To control this security system, a mobile application will be built that can be accessed by mosque administrators. Overall, this design will provide a higher level of security for the Al Akbar National Mosque charity box. With a security system that can be accessed and controlled remotely through IoT. The mosque management can quickly respond and take action in unsafe situations.

Abstract

Facial biometric technology is widely used in various fields such as bank security, border crossings, airport check-in, home surveillance, remote meetings in offices, prisons, and factories. This makes facial recognition an important field to study and develop. In countries like the United States and Germany, trials have begun for the implementation of Face Recognition technology in airport areas. This technology is used for airport check-in systems to address the issue of long queues, especially during holiday seasons, which is a common occurrence in airports worldwide. Although online check-in methods already exist, they still do not resolve this issue. Unfortunately, this technology has not yet been implemented or discussed for application in Indonesian airports. Therefore, the researchers intend to conduct a study on this technology to ensure that Indonesia does not fall behind other countries in facial detection technology. Based on the test results of the developed system, it can be concluded that the facial detection system is quite effective in identifying faces, but there are some limitations, such as lighting and facial accessories. The system works optimally at light intensities ranging from 806 lumens to 161 lumens, and if the person to be detected is wearing a mask or sunglasses, the system will not be able to recognize the face.
