Abstract

HDPE pipes are widely used in various industries, such as drinking water and sewage infrastructure, petroleum, agriculture, and construction. The advantages of HDPE pipes include corrosion resistance, light weight, easy installation, and low maintenance costs. Checking the quality of HDPE pipes, spesifically from industry that we tested, is important to ensure infrastructure safety, prevent system failure, improve operational efficiency, obtain user satisfaction, and conserve resources. We evaluated HDPE pipes with type PN 12.5 SDR 13.6 from industry in terms of resistance to hydrostatic pressure, tensile strength, and expansion capability. The evaluation was carried out at the Material Chemistry Laboratory of the Department of Material Engineering and Metallurgy FTIRS-ITS ITS in accordance with the standards of SNI 4829.2: 2015, ASTM D 638 M, and SNI 2553: 1999. The results show that HDPE pipes can withstand hydrostatic pressure up to 12 bar without leakage. The average tensile strength is 43.34 MPa with an average elongation of 354%, indicating ductile pipe properties with necking. Pipe expansion was observed to be 0.195%, indicating a good ability of the pipe to undergo expansion.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas penjatuhan sanksi pidana kepada pelaku tindak pidana persetubuhan terhadap anak di Kota Makassar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian empiris dan dilakukan di Pengadilan Negeri Kota Makassar serta respondennya adalah Hakim dari Pengadilan Negeri Kota Makassar dan Penyidik Polrestabes Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Efektivitas penjatuhan sanksi piadana kepada pelaku tindak pidana persetubuhan terhadap anak yang harus diperhatikan yakni usia dari korban harus bersesuaian dengan aturan dalam undang-undang perlindungan anak. (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi penjatuhan sanksi adalah faktor sosiologi dalam hal ini kesadaran terdakwa dan faktor yuridis dalam hal ini faktor pembuktian. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of imposing criminal sanctions on perpetrators of criminal acts of sexual intercourse with children in Makassar City and the factors that influence this. The method used in this research is empirical research and was conducted at the Makassar City District Court. The respondents were Judges from the Makassar City District Court and Makassar Police Investigators. The results of this research show that: (1) The effectiveness of imposing criminal sanctions on perpetrators of the crime of sexual intercourse with children must be taken into account, and the age of the victim must comply with the regulations in the child protection law. (2) Factors that influence the imposition of sanctions are sociological factors, in this case, the defendant's awareness, and juridical factors, in this case, the evidentiary factor.

Abstract

The productive age population in Indonesia in 2022 will reach 69%, with great potential for increasing economic growth. However, there is an increasing threat of mental disorders, which results in low productivity and hinders economic growth. Mental health disorders have psychologically weak conditions that need strengthening through religious guidance. Muslims believe that a religious guidance approach can help solve problems of mental health disorders. Unfortunately, they do not understand practical Islamic guidance as an effort to prevent and promote mental health disorders. This study aims to analyse the Islamic religious guidance approach for mental health disorders. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach. The data collection strategy was sourced from seven published Scopus-indexed journal literature in 2018-2023 using the keywords "Islamic religion and mental health". The study found practical variations of Islamic religious guidance for mental health disorders, including religious lectures, Al-Quran therapy, prayer therapy, psycho-spiritual therapy, therapy for majelis taklim activities, zikir and shalawat therapy, tawba and istighfar therapy. The practical implications of research with Islamic religious guidance can help treat mental health disorders gradually and sustainably.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Kaliori is located in Pati Regency. The school library of SMP Negeri 1 Kaliori is a source of knowledge at the school, however, the data processing is still manual which makes it difficult for librarians to manage library data. Therefore, an application-based library information system was created to make it easier for librarians. in managing library data in making library information systems using the Java programming language which is a programming language specifically for making an application, the information presented in this application includes information on borrowing, returns, student data, book status data, book codes, late fines and information book collection. With this application, it can help students borrow and return books easily. Students no longer need to look directly at books in the library. By opening this application, students can see all types of books in the library. This application is also equipped with a fine feature so students who borrow books beyond the specified time period will receive a fine. Students can also see the fine bill in the application.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of sustainable finance and green bonds in bridging the gap between corporate profitability and environmental responsibility. With the increasing global demand for sustainable investment, green bonds are emerging as a financial instrument that allows companies to integrate environmental aspects into their business strategies without sacrificing financial gains. This study uses descriptive analysis methods and case studies to assess the impact of green bonds on the company's financial performance and environment. The results of the study show that investing in green bonds not only drives long-term economic benefits, but also improves the company's image in social and environmental responsibility. These findings underscore the importance of integration between economic benefits and environmental sustainability in the modern financial world.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a global health issue, with over 10 million cases worldwide, and Indonesia ranks as the second-highest country with TB cases. The comorbidity of diabetes mellitus (DM) increases the risk of TB, especially in elderly patients. TB patients with DM are challenging to treat, have low cure rates, and increase the risk of multi-drug resistance TB. Purpose: To understand the characteristic overview of elderly patients with drug-susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis along with type 2 diabetes. Method: This descriptive research utilized surveys with primary data from interviews with elderly patients at RSUD R Syamsudin SH and secondary data from the hospital, covering January 2022 to October 2023. Results: Out of 33 respondents, 20 were male and 13 female. Most (81.8%) had education up to high school, and 72.7% were unemployed. According to BMI, 36.4% had normal weight. Regarding drug adherence, 75.8% supervised it. All respondents had positive chest X-rays for TB, and 87.9% tested positive in molecular rapid tests. Random blood sugar levels showed 12 patients below 200 mg/dl. Among those tested for HbA1c, 78.8% did not undergo the exam, and 6.1% had levels <8%. Conclusion: TB DM predominantly affects elderly males. Most respondents were high school graduates, unemployed, and had normal BMI. They often took on the role of supervising drug adherence. In the Glucose Ad Random, more individuals had levels above 200, and among those tested for HbA1c, many exceeded 7%. All patients showed TB-consistent chest X-rays, with most testing positive in rapid molecular tests.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas penanganan pelanggaran tindak pidana pemilihan umum oleh sentra penegakan hukum terpadu bawaslu kota Makassar pada tahun 2024 dan Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi Efektivitas Penanganan Pelanggaran Tindak Pidana Pemilihan Umum oleh Sentra Gakkumdu Bawaslu Kota Makassar pada tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian hukum empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Bahwa Efektivitas Penanganan Pelanggaran Tindak Pidana Pemilihan Umum oleh Sentra Penegakan Hukum Terpadu Bawaslu Kota Makassar Kurang Efektif. (2) Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menjadi penyebab Efektivitas Penanganan Pelanggaran Tindak Pidana Pemilihan Umum oleh Sentra Penegakan Hukum Terpadu Bawaslu Kota Makassar Pada Tahun 2024 yaitu Faktor Substansi Hukum, Struktur Hukum, dan Budaya Hukum. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of handling general election criminal violations by the Makassar City Bawaslu integrated Law Enforcement Centre in 2024 and the factors that influence the effectiveness of handling general election criminal violations by the Makassar City Bawaslu Gakkumdu Center in 2024. This research method uses the research type empirical law. The results of this research indicate that: (1) That the effectiveness of handling general election criminal violations by the Makassar City Bawaslu Integrated Law Enforcement Center is less effective. (2) several factors cause the effectiveness of handling general election criminal violations by the Makassar City Bawaslu Integrated Law Enforcement Center in 2024, namely legal substance, legal structure and legal culture factors.

Abstract

One of the health services that has a very important role in providing health services to the community is the hospital. The existence of hospitals as health care institutions is regulated in Law No.44 of 2009. Hospitals play an important role in the health care system and are health care institutions that have an organized staff of medical professionals, and inpatient facilities, by providing medical, nursing and related services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and providing complete health services to the community, both curative and preventive. In addition, the hospital also serves as a place of education for health workers and a place of research. Good health services provide effective, safe, and high-quality services to those who need them supported by adequate resources (WHO, 2014). From field observations and literature studies based on observations, there are several problems as follows: Poor tangibles aspects of service quality affect inpatient satisfaction at WALED Hospital, Cirebon Regency. Abstract

The purpose of this study departs from the problems that occur in Medical Personnel at the Budi Kasih Special Surgical Hospital in Majalengka Regency, related to Work Motivation, Work Discipline and Employee Performance, because there are still employees who do not understand a job, personality, professional and social and have not been able to use technology proficiently in the work process. The variables to be measured in this study are Work Motivation According to Maslow's Theory as quoted by Sondang P. Siagian (2013: 103) including Fulfillment of physical needs, Security needs, Social needs, Needs that reflect self-esteem, Actualization needs. Work Discipline According to Syarkani's Theory (2017: 368) including Punctuality, Using office equipment properly, High responsibility, Obedience to office rules. Employee Performance According to Robbins Theory (2016: 260) including Quality, Quantity, Accuracy, Effectiveness, Independence. The research method used is descriptive analytical research method through a quantitative approach. analysis that uses quantitative analysis tools, namely analysis tools that use models such as mathematical models, statistical and econometric models, how to collect data by using saturated sampling techniques on 35 respondents. The research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire containing statements to respondents using the Likert scale method using the theory from Sugiono (2013). The results of the correlation analysis calculation, there is a large influence with a value of 0.5 between variable X and variable Y. Determination analysis shows that it is known that the coefficient of determination is found in the Adjusted R Square value of 0.943, this means that the ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable is 94.3%, the remaining 5.7% of the explanation is the variable that affects but is not tested, the results of the clasi coefficient test state that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the analysis of the discussion in this thesis, it is necessary to seek various actions to further enhance the role of employee performance and to improve or improve Work Motivation and Work Discipline of Medical Personnel at the Budi Kasih Specialized Surgical Hospital in Majalengka Regency Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of motivation and work discipline on the performance of medical personnel at the Budi Kasih Specialized Surgical Hospital in Majalengka Regency.

Abstract

The trading system for aquaculture products is the process of distributing goods in the form of fish or derivative products from producers to final consumers effectively and efficiently. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing aquaculture supply chain management in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province; and 2) Develop recommendations for the direction of development of the aquaculture trade system. This research method is a survey. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data collection method is qualitative, namely the researcher makes questionnaires, observations and interviews. Secondary data comes from production data from the Fisheries Service/BPS/pokdakan/regency/city companies in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Respondents in this study were informants at the District/City Fisheries Service, Pokdakan, and the shrimp farming industry (micro/small/medium/large scale). Data analysis is descriptive. The research results show that the grouper aquaculture supply chain is more efficient than the shrimp aquaculture supply chain, because it involves more companies from outside the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The direction of development of the aquaculture trade system which refers to supply chain management has not yet implemented Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Regulation No. 5/Permen-KP/2014 concerning the National Fish Logistics System (SLIN). Understanding of the cold chain is still low. Then the problem at the collection and storage stage is the availability of facilities (cold storage) as well as the availability of basic infrastructure such as electricity, clean water and others, and the availability of facilities (unplug reefer).
