Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning styles used by students with academic achievements at class V students of SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh. The subjects in this study were students with academic achievements who had ranks 1, 2 and 3. This research is a qualitative research. The data collecting process is held through observations, interviews and documentations. Data analysis in this study used the Milles and Huberman data analysis techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting, reducing, displaying, and drawing conclusions. Data validity test was carried out by source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the learning styles of students with academic achievements at class V of SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh are a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles so that the tendency of the types of learning styles of students with academic achievements is different. So that the calculation results show that 80% of students with academic achievement have an auditory learning style, 53.33% of students with a kinesthetic learning style, and 40% of students with a visual learning style and there are factors that influence the learning styles of students with academic achievement, namely physical/physical factors, emotional/psychological factors, social factors and environmental factors.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the application of the group investigation learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in social studies class V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 12 students of class V 01 Pinoh Utara. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, written tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results in this study were that students' critical thinking skills increased with the percentage of students who completed the KKM, which was 83.33%. This has exceeded the achievement of the expected success criteria of 80%. Whereas the results of APKG II Cycle I got an average value of 72.84% with the developing category according to expectations and cycle II got an average value of 93.66% with the category of very good development. By looking at the conditions of each cycle, namely, cycle I, cycle II, it can be concluded that learning with the group investigation model can improve the critical thinking skills of class V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara in thematic subjects.Keywords: Critical thinking, application of the group investigation model Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran group investigation dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V 01 Pinoh Utara yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat dengan persentase siswa yang tuntas KKM yaitu sebesar 83,33%. Hal tersebut telah melebihi pencapaian kriteria keberhasilan yang di harapkan yaitu 80%.  Sedangkan pada hasil APKG II Siklus I mendapakan nilai rata – rata sebesar 72,84% dengan katagori berkembang sesuai harapan dan siklus II mendapatkan nilai rata – rata sebesar 93,66% dengan katagori berkembnag sangat baik. Dengan melihat dari kondisi tiap siklus yaitu, siklus I, siklus II, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model group investigation dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara dalam mata pelajaran tematik.  Kata Kunci: Berpikir kritis, Penerapan model group investigation

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the studenns low initial writing skills in Indonesia language learning in grades I SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal. This study aimed to determine whether media image could improve students initial writing skills in Indonesian language learning. This tipe of research is Classroom Action Research with research subjects of class I SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal, totaling 18 students. The Research instruments in this study were teacher assessment sheets and question sheets for students. The object of this study was the use of media images to improve the ability to select the beanning in learning Indonesian for class 1 students of SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of students writing ability tests in cycle I was 61,1% and cycle II 100% Improved results. Student tests from cycles I and II of 38,9%. Thus it can be concluded that, there is an increase in initial writing ability after using picture media.Keywords: Media Pictures, Ability to Write, Indonesian. Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas I SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas I SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal yang berjumlah 18 orang siswa. Instrumen penilaian di penelitian ini adalah lembar penilaian guru dan lembar soal untuk siswa. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media gambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas I SDN 13 SP III Trans Nobal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh persentase hasil tes kemampuan menulis siswa, pada siklus I 61,1% dan siklus II 100%. Peningkatan hasil tes siswa dari siklus I dan II sebesar 38,9%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis permulaan setelah menggunakan media gambar.Kata Kunci: Media Gambar, Kemampuan Menulis, Bahasa Indonesia.
