Training of Computer network using Miktrotik at the Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School of Dr. Muhammad Natsir at Alahan Panjang is one of the solutions to overcome the problem of the effectiveness and efficiency computer user. The training was started by a field survey to laboratory of the information and communication technology (ICT) at the School. In this survey, discussions were held on what problems are very important and get priority to find solutions in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of computer use at the School. The results of the survey agreed that computer network training with Mikrotik would be held in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of computer use on it. The second activity was the preparation of computer network training with Mikrotik. Preparation was carried out in the form of discussions with teammates to determine materials and methods that were more efficient and effective in the implementation of computer network training with Mikrotik at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory. The results of the discussion agreed that the training would be provided in the form of presentations and hands-on practice. The third activity was the implementation of computer network training with mikrotik. This training was provided for 2 days, namely Saturday and Sunday. The first day was done by shared knowledge about the basics of computer networks and Mikrotik. The second day, students did a computer network training with Mikrotik. The fourth activity was the evaluation of computer network training activities with Mikrotik, to evaluate the activities that have been carried out and to obtain suggestions and input for future improvements.

Indonesia intends to use renewable energy both locally and on a national scale. Regional energy planning must be developed by provincial governments in accordance with national energy planning (RUEN). One of the few provinces that has already published its regional energy planning is North Maluku Province. The ambition to use more renewable energy technologies for power generation is already taken into account in their regional energy planning. However, North Maluku Province may rely on renewable energy as their primary source of power because of the abundance of these resources. The purpose of this paper is to examine renewable energy development and planning in relation to the RUPTL 2021-2030 power development plan. This review gives an insight that North Maluku Province still have untapped renewable energy potential which can be developed in the future to increase its renewable shares in electricity mix as well as to enhance energy security and accessibility in the region.

This service activity will be focused on everything related to assembly, software installation and computer troubleshooting for participants in the Karang Putih Community Learning Center (PKBM). The activity steps are carried out in several stages, starting from field surveys, literature studies, discussions, to the implementation of training activities that use an approach between theory and practice. Indicators of the success of this activity are the Assembly Training, Software Installation and Computer Troubleshooting. This training is used by partners, by seeing that this training has been in accordance with the needs of the community in the partner environment; This training can help the educational process and skills in practice quickly; and this training can be conducted by other Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM). The attention of the participants in this activity was quite large, almost all of them were active in the discussions and practices that were carried out. From this discussion and training it was revealed that about 75% of the participants had understood the material as a whole.

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi (ICT) sebagai media promosi dan komunikasi di Indonesia masih kurang berkembang. Kondisi ini memberi peluang kepada masyarakat untuk lebih memanfaatkan teknologi ini terutama di sektor pendidikan baik formal maupun nonformal. Hal ini memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kemajuan aktifitas pendidikan di berbagai negara. Pengunaan teknologi teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi (ICT) terutama teknologi internet merupakan cara yang inovatif dalam melaksanakan berbagai program pendidikan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet, lembaga pendidikan formal dan nonformal dapat melakukan berbagai kegiatan secara elektronik seperti media forum, email, mailing list dan berbagai aktifitas lainnya. Pondok Pesantren Modern Terpadu Dr. Muhammad Natsir Alahan Panjang. merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai – nilai keagamaan dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam proses belajar mengajarnya. Agar masyarakat luas mengetahui tentang aktivitas pondok pesantren modern pada umumnya dan Pondok Pesantren Modern Terpadu Dr. Muhammad Natsir Alahan Panjang khususnya maka dikembagkanlah suatu webiste. Website ini nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai media promosi dan komunikasi bagi Pondok Pesantren Modern Terpadu Dr. Muhammad Natsir Alahan Panjang.

Energi listrik adalah salah satu kebutuhan utama bagi usaha pertanian hidroponik. Mereka butuh untuk mengalirkan nutrisi tanaman melalui air secara terus-menerus menggunakan pompa. Jika sumber energi listrik terputus, maka akan menyebabkan tanaman tidak tumbuh sempurna. Oleh karena itu, pada kegiatan ini dilakukan penerapan sel surya sebagai energi listrik alternatif pada mitra pengabdian Alfi Hidroponik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan merancang kebutuhan sel surya pada usaha hidroponik. Batrai Aki 40 Ah dapat menjadi sumber energi listrik bagi usaha mitra yang kebutuhan dayanya 85 watt selama minimal 10 jam. Selain penerapan sel surya, pada pengabdian ini juga dikembangkan beberapa sensor untuk memonitor suhu dan kelembaban lahan pertahian. Kegiatan ini dapat menjawab kebutuhan mitra dan masih diperlukan penerapan teknologi lainnya pada usaha hidroponik untuk optimalisasi produksi mitra.

Kegiatan pengembangan sistem informasi untuk pengelolaan bank sampah di Kelurahan Batu Gadang Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang dengan mitra kegiatan ini adalah Bank Sampah Sakinah. Permasalahan utama dari bank sampah ini dimana belum memiliki sistem pengelolaan yang berbasis teknologi informasi untuk mendukung aktifitas kegiatan sehari – hari. Untuk itu dilakukan pengembangan aplikasi yang berbasis teknologi informasi untuk pengelolaan aktivitas di Bank Sampah Sakinah. Pengembangan aplikasi sistem yang berbasis teknologi informasi ini bertujuan untuk pengelolaan aktivitas di Bank Sampah Sakinah secara efektif dan efisien. Adapun manfaat dari adanya aplikasi sistem informasi ini selain untuk membantu pengelolaan aktivitas sehari – hari di Bank Sampah Sakinah juga mampu memberikan dampak pada peningkatan proses pembelajaran, peningkatan kesadaran dan kemampuan penggunaan teknologi informasi di Bank Sampah Sakinah Kelurahan Batu Gadang Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang. Adapun metoda pelaksanaan kegiatan ini akan difokuskan pada pengembangan aplikasi sistem informasi untuk membantu pengelolaan aktivitas di Bank Sampah Sakinah.

There are some vital loads and must not extinguished on the production activities of PT. Semen Padang cause the operational costs to rerun are very large. To solve this problem, it is necessary to evaluate the coordination settings of protection relays and automatic control systems to supporting the production process of PT. Semen Padang so production efficiency can be maintained. The relay settings to be evaluated are inverse time and instantaneous overcurrent relays by coordinating the main relay, backup relay 1 and backup relay 2 from downstream to upstream load feeder. The designed control system is an automatic load shedding and HMI display that can visualizing the system in realtime using the PLC Siemens S7-1500 with simulating on the PLCSimulator of the TIA Portal 15.1 software. Based on the calculations carried out, there are significant differences in the relay settings from the calculation results with the existing state. the relays installed in the system do not coordinate properly in the existing state, while after the calculation of the coordination relays the relays coordinate well. From the design of the control system, an automatic load shedding program and the display of the HMI system in real time were produced.

This paper presents a hybrid photovoltaic (PV)-diesel management system performance analysis considering weather conditions. The system is designed to operate based on charging current, battery capacity, and loading current. During charging current is decreased but the battery capacity is high, and the PV system remains supplied for low and medium loading current. When the charging current is lowered and the battery capacity is in the middle, the PV system still supplies for low loading current. However, when the charging current decreases and the battery voltage decreased below 22.3 volts, the supply instantly switches to the diesel generator. The charge current is calculated by subtracting the PV current from the load current. A real-time clock is implemented as a timer to guarantee that there is no repetitive switching throughout the night when charging from the panel is missing. The system works automatically through microcontroller control during the day for 9 hours. The improvement that has been obtained is to overcome the problem of repeated switching processes by limiting the transfer process back to PV when sunlight is not available.

This journal discusses about the analysis of frequency transition deviation of power frequency control system with Optimal control methods. The response of frequency transition deviation of power frequency control system is one of indicator in the performance of the power system during disturbances. These disturbances cause changes in the parameters value which result in power frequency control system will be disrupted and resulted system is not able to work normally after the disturbances. One of disturbance often occurs in power system is a sudden load changes. Sudden load changes cause of decreasing or increasing in the value of frequencies around the center of its operations. By using the optimal control method consists of Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) method and Linear Quadratic Regulator with weights function on the output (LQRy) are analyzed frequency transition deviation of power frequency control system type of Non-Reheat, Reheat and Hydraulic. The results obtained for the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) method, the power frequency control system type of Non–Reheat has the smallest values of the transition parameter at the values of the transition parameter power frequency control system type of Reheat and Hydraulic. The values of the transition parameter power frequency control system type of Non-Reheat are 0.1266 seconds in time rise, 0.3451 seconds in settling time, 0.3451 seconds in peak time, 3.1972% in maximum overshoot and 0.0069 in peak value. For the Linear Quadratic Regulator method with weights function on the output (LQRy) power frequency control system type of Hydraulic has the smallest values of the transition parameter compared with the values of the transition parameter power frequency control system type of Non-Reheat and Reheat. The values of the transition parameter power frequency control system type of Hydraulic are 0.0451 seconds in time rise, 0.0731 seconds in settling time, 0.1300 seconds in peak time, 0.0531% in maximum overshoot and 0.0032 in peak value.
