Abstract

The implementation of electronic medical record services is supported by PMK RI Number 24 of 2022, Article 3, Paragraph 1, which mandates that every health service facility must organize Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Therefore, hospitals need to transition from manual to electronic records. One necessary step is determining the storage capacity needed for the server. Additionally, according to Article 39, EMRs must be stored for 25 years, requiring a prediction of storage needs over that period. This study discusses predicting the storage capacity needs for EMRs using the Least Square method, which analyzes time series data trends. Hospital data shows 130,712 medical records with a size of 261,424 MB from September 2022 to March 2023. The predicted storage needs from April to December 2023 are 781,490 MB, and for the next 25 years (until 2048) is 8,974,669 MB or 9 TB. The accuracy of the prediction, tested using MAPE, is 6.34%, which is considered very good. RSUP Nasional Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo has provided 6 TB of server storage and 71 TB of NAS as backup. With 80 GB used per month as of March 2023, the hospital is advised to provide storage according to the prediction. Additionally, the maximum upload size in the HIS needs to be increased beyond 2 MB per medical record to maximize scanning quality and efficiency

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit tidak menular dengan prevalensi tinggi yang membutuhkan pengelolaan berkelanjutan. Kelompok Prolanis menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan akses edukasi, tenaga kesehatan, dan literasi digital lansia. Nutrition Care Center (NCC) Politeknik Negeri Jember sebagai Teaching Factory (TeFa) berpotensi menjadi pusat edukasi kesehatan, namun layanan masih bersifat konvensional. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan edukasi digital dan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Virtual Assistant (VA) bagi penderita DM kelompok Prolanis, sekaligus memperkuat peran TEFA NCC sebagai pusat pembelajaran kesehatan digital. Kegiatan berlangsung Mei–Desember 2025, mencakup pengembangan VA berbasis chatbot, penyusunan materi edukasi, pelatihan penggunaan VA, pembuatan media penunjang, pemeriksaan kesehatan, serta promosi melalui media sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre–post test, observasi, dan monitoring kader. Hasil menunjukkan VA mampu menjawab lebih dari 80% pertanyaan dasar DM, digunakan lebih dari 20 peserta, dan materi tervalidasi dengan kelayakan >75%. Pelatihan meningkatkan literasi digital 20–30%, pemeriksaan mendorong kesadaran monitoring rutin, dan publikasi memperkuat branding TEFA NCC. Program ini efektif meningkatkan akses informasi, literasi digital, serta perilaku sehat penderita DM lansia.

Abstract

Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) is a respiratory disorder in newborns caused by surfactant deficiency. This disease is also known as Hyaline Membrane Disease (HMD). RDS cases at Mitra Medika Bondowoso Hospital ranked first among the top 10 inpatient diagnoses from 2022 to 2024. This study aims to analyze the relationship between gestational age, birth weight, sex, gestational diabetes, maternal hypertension, method of delivery, premature rupture of membranes, multiple pregnancy, and maternal age with the incidence of RDS in neonates. This is a quantitative analytical study with a case-control design, using medical records from 95 cases and 95 controls selected by simple random sampling. Univariate analysis showed that 14.7% of babies were born preterm, 52.6% were male, and 10.5% had low birth weight. Maternal factors included hypertension (17.9%), cesarean section and assisted delivery (61.1%), premature rupture of membranes (27.4%), multiple pregnancy (3.2%), and age < 20 or > 35 years (15.8%). No mothers with gestational diabetes were found. Bivariate analysis showed that RDS in neonates was associated with gestational age (p=0.001), birth weight (p=0.009), and premature rupture of membranes (p=0.034). Meanwhile, sex (p=0.309), maternal hypertension (p=0.570), method of delivery (p=0.882), multiple pregnancy (p=0.211), and maternal age (p=0.320) were not associated with RDS in neonates. This research concludes that RDS in neonates is related to preterm gestational age, low birth weight, and premature rupture of membranes. Providing education through pamphlets and social media can help prevent premature birth, low birth weight, and premature rupture of membranes.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven innovation in the provision of nutrition education and consultation services, one of which is through the implementation of the VANESA (Virtual Assistant Nutritional Care Center for Education and Consultation) system. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the VANESA system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, which emphasizes two main variables, namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, as the main determinants of technology acceptance. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to active VANESA users. Data was analyzed using regression analysis techniques and validity tests to examine the relationship between variables in the TAM model and the level of user satisfaction. The results show that both perceptions of usefulness and ease of use have a positive and significant influence on user attitudes, which in turn impacts their satisfaction with the use of the VANESA system. These findings indicate that increasing the functionality and ease of access of the system will strengthen user acceptance. This study provides important implications for the development of digital healthcare systems, particularly in designing virtual assistants that are adaptive to user needs and based on user experience.Keywords: nutrition education, satisfaction, TAM, VANESA
