Abstract

In this paper, computational acceleration of color image segmentation using fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm has been presented. The color image is first converted from the Red Green Blue (RGB) color space to the YUV color space. Then, the luma (Y) information values are grouped according to the desired number of clusters using the FCM algorithm. The FCM algorithm is implemented on a Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) using the Compute Unified Device Library (CUDA) library which is developed by NVidia to speed up the computing time. Images used in this research are red blood cell images, geometry images and leaf images. The results of segmented images processed using GPU were seen identic to the results of segmented images processed using the Central Processing Unit (CPU). The computational time of the FCM algorithm can be accelerated by speed-up to 5,628 times faster and the average speed-up of all simulations done is 5,517 times faster.

Abstract

When using a mask, appearance is essential for some people in supporting appearance and prioritizing comfort. However, when customer on trying masks, a prospective buyer must come directly to the pharmacy or shop. That’s can make consumers' time less efficient. In addition, trying a new mask also risks damaging the mask and an obligation to buy it. A mobile application with Augmented Reality features can help people see the appearance of masks on their facial contours via smartphones without trying it one by one. The application works by combining the mask model in the virtual world with the user's face in the real world captured by the user's smartphone camera. Literature study, needs analyze, application design, application development, and application testing are used in developing this application. Application development is carried out using the Augmented Reality face tracking method. From this application, mask model can be displayed right on the user's face on the android platform. In order to get optimal results, testing is done on the application by testing the application's compatibility when used on various Android devices and conducting a questionnaire to determine whether the application is well received by users using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and UAT results classified as good with a final score is 83 ,25%.

Abstract

Bananas that ripen with chemical process or do not ripen naturally usually, this can be recognized by the presence of blackish patches on the surface of the skin. But visual recognition has its drawbacks, which is that it is difficult to recognize similarities between formalin bananas and natural bananas, resulting in a lack of accurate identification. In this study, a system was built that can determined formalin bananas and natural bananas through digital image identification using supervised classification. The image to be identification previously goes through the process of transforming RGB (Red Green Blue) color to Grayscale, and the process of extracting texture features using statically recognizable features through histograms, in the form of average, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, energy, entropy and smoothness. The extraction of texture features is classified with LVQ (Learning Vector Quantization) to determine formalin or natural bananas. The test was conducted with 122 banana imagery sample data, 100 imagery as training data consisting of 50 imagery for natural bananas and 50 imagery for bananas formalin, 22 imagery as test data. The test results showed LVQ method has the best percentage at Learning Rate 0.1, Decreased Learning Rate 0.75 and maximum epoch of 1000 with the smallest epoch of 7, obtained accuracy 90.90%, precision 84.61% and recall 100%.

Abstract

Telur fertil adalah telur ayam yang dapat menetas dan dijadikan bibit ayam atau bisa disebut DOC (Day Old Chick). Sedangkan telur infertil merupakan telur yang tidak dapat menetas atau telur yang tidak mengalami perkembangan embrio pada saat penetasan. Proses identifikasi telur fertil dan telur infertil pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode radial basis function (RBF) diawali dengan proses akuisisi citra pada telur fertil dan telur infertil sehingga mendapatkan 150 data citra. Ekstraksi ciri yang digunakan yaitu gray Level Co-occurrence Matriks (GLCM) untuk mengidentifikasi objek atau pola citra agar mampu memberikan informasi yang detail tentang fitur suatu citra. Fitur yang digunakan yaitu Contrast, Correlation, Energi dan Homogeneity. Data citra yang telah didapatkan dibagi menjadi dua data yaitu, data latih dan data uji, 100 untuk data latih dan 50 untuk data uji. Identifikasi telur fertil dan telur infertil menghasilkan jaringan terbaik dengan error goal 0.0 (default), spread 0.1, lapisan tersembunyi 100, dan maksimum iterasi 1000. Pada lapisan tersembunyi, fungsi aktivasi yang digunakan adalah fungsi aktivasi Gaussian. Hasil pengujian identifikasi telur fertil dan telur infertil dapat diukur berdasarkan nilai akurasi. Berdasarkan model jaringan terbaik, untuk pelatihan diperoleh nilai akurasi tertinggi sebesar 100% dan untuk pengujian diperoleh nilai akurasi tertinggi sebesar 96%.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan sebuah sistem rekomendasi pemilihan pada smart televisi, metode yang digunakan adalah metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Terdapat lima kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu harga, ukuran layar, resolusi layar, konsumsi daya, dan garansi produk. Penggunaan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) diharapkan dapat membantu keputusan yang di ambil dalam memilih menentukan smart televisi (TV) yang tepat dan sesuai kriteria. Pada penelitian ini akan diangkat suatu kasus yaitu cari alternatif terbaik berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot di setiap alternatif, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif mana yang tepat dan sesuai kriteria pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, isian dari 10 responden mengatakan presentase sebesar 78,8% sistem yang sudah dibuat mempunyai manfaat atau perceived of usefulness dan berdasarkan 10 responden mengatakan presentase sebesar 84% sistem yang sudah dibuat mudah dipakai atau perceived of ease bagi pengguna. Kata Kunci : Simple Additive Weighting, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Smart TV

Abstract

this journal presents an encryption process and description using AES-CBC and Base64, in this study perform several processes such as problem analysis, system design using UML, coding process, testing, and data collection process. To get results from this study will be done the encryption process and text description 30 times that will use different keys and initial vectors to test messages that are already encrypted according to the initial text when in the description. From the research, it can be concluded that the results show that 57% of the messages encrypted have similarities to the contents of the original message, because they use the same key and initial vector to decrypt and, that 43% of the messages that are decrypted have no similarities to the contents of the original message. because they use different key and initial vector to decrypt.

Abstract

Goats in the livestock business are a promising business zone. Java goats, for example, Java type goats have a very expensive price, from young Java goats to old Java goats. The Javanese goat business is indeed very profitable, but this business is not without obstacles. There are so many obstacles faced by breeders, especially those who live in villages far from animal hospitals. Thus, the method of identifying the disease of Javan goats was chosen because the symptoms of diseases commonly experienced by Javan goats are relatively easy to observe and comfortable for anyone to try. The developed application is equipped with an easy-to-use and dynamic knowledge management system. This means that experts can add, change, and delete new knowledge or provisions without having to start from scratch. The application was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the information base. The inference procedure used is forward chaining, which is an inference process that starts the search from premises or input information in the form of indications leading to conclusions, namely conclusions about the disease experienced and providing solutions regarding recommendations for healing and prevention based on the observed signs. the results of 100% correspondence between the results of the identification of the expert with the identification of the application.

Abstract

Paper flowers or Zinnia flowers are annual plants belonging to the Zinnia genus. This flower comes from Mexico, grows as an ornamental plant that is spread in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Zinnia paper flowers are very popular in Indonesia, this plant is often used for ornamental plants. However, in plant care sometimes ornamental plant farmers experience several obstacles due to diseases or plant pests that attack because there is still a lack of knowledge and handling about these plants. Because if the plants are not handled quickly it will make farmers suffer losses. The purpose of building an expert system for diagnosing zinnia paper flower plant diseases, with this expert system it can be more effective to assist farmers in dealing with diseases or pests that attack The inference process uses the certainty factor method, looks for symptom data and then selects parameters according to existing conditions, then processed with diagnostic results in the form of type of disease, percentage results, disease details and suggestions. Based on 18 symptoms and 5 types of disease, 25 system test data were obtained, 20 data results were appropriate and 5 data results did not match so that the average percentage result was 80%.

Abstract

Early diagnosis of lung cancer, which is the number one cause of death in developed countries, is urgently needed. In general, lung cancer is caused by many things including an unhealthy environment, an unhealthy lifestyle and a lack of knowledge about the characteristics or symptoms that are signs that a person has a high or low risk of cancer. The acquisition of knowledge from experts, in this study, is an anatomical pathologist who specializes in obtaining a knowledge base. There are 50 selected respondents who are used as data in this study. The detectable risk is a low risk of lung cancer and a high risk of lung cancer. The forward chaining method is a method for calculating the confidence value of the symptoms given by a patient. The results of testing from 50 selected respondents got very good results for application assessment and application testing results are in accordance with the analysis of the informants by 70%.
