Abstract

This community service aims to raise public awareness regarding religious harmony in Mojopuro Village, Wonogiri. The importance of this theme lies in strengthening the spirit of tolerance and mutual respect among different religions, races, and groups. This outreach is expected to serve as a means for the community to enhance their understanding of tolerance as a foundation for social harmony and as a platform for discussions on religious harmony. The method used in this activity is a participatory-educative approach, where participants are actively involved in listening to presentations, engaging in discussions, and asking questions. The activity is carried out through interactive material delivery, case studies, and discussion sessions involving the participants. This activity has significantly improved participants' knowledge or understanding, as observed from the results of pre-tests and post-tests conducted.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang serta membangun sistem informasi rekrutmen karyawan berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses perekrutan di PT Laksana Bus Manufaktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed method) dengan menggabungkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada pelamar kerja serta pihak Human Resource Department (HRD). Proses pengembangan sistem mengikuti model Waterfall, yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian fungsional, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mempercepat proses rekrutmen, menurunkan biaya operasional, serta meningkatkan ketepatan dalam seleksi calon karyawan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi ini efektif digunakan sebagai langkah awal digitalisasi proses rekrutmen, serta memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut ke dalam versi berbasis mobile di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

The phenomenon of silent classroom has become a significant challenge in the world of education, especially for Generation Z students who have different communication characteristics from previous generations. This qualitative research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kamal Bangkalan by involving 64 students and 31 teachers as research subjects. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation and in-depth interviews to identify nonverbal communication patterns that emerged when students tended to be verbally passive. The results of the study show that students' silence is not an indication of involvement, but a shift in the form of communication from verbal to nonverbal which is manifested through facial expressions, body gestures, eye contact, and the use of digital media. The dominant factors that cause verbal passivity include fear of being wrong, feelings of embarrassment, lack of confidence, and a preference for digital communication that is characteristic of Generation Z. Research found that 75% of students experience a fear of making mistakes, while 59.4% are more comfortable expressing themselves through digital symbols. Although 90.3% of teachers admitted to paying attention to nonverbal communication, 58% had experienced misunderstandings in interpretation. Learning strategies that integrate technology, gamification, and creating a supportive psychological environment have proven effective in increasing student participation by up to 79.7%. This study concludes that understanding of nonverbal communication of Generation Z is the key to learning effectiveness in the digital era.
